Cassie, who was taking items off the dressing room rack, engaged me in cheerful conversation about why I didn't like any of those items. After a few minutes of looking around, Cassie walked up with a style of shirt she had personally purchased from there and recommended it to me. It was the perfect size and fit! Thank you to Cassie for making me feel better about myself, and for being energetic enough at 9 at night to talk to customers. I did the self-checkout option--a huge help--and a woman named Dorothy was walking around. I happened upon this place by accident on my search for my child. I knew of this location but did not know how nice it was, it is near a Kroger and a Hobby Lobby, so I did not realize it was a full fledged department store in the middle of a strip mall. Once I found the proper section I finally found a small but nice rack of hoco dresses. Since my child was not with me I decided to get a couple sizes. The employees here were so friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to help with return policies, finding other sizes, and putting the dresses in hanging bags. Great customer service! I do not normally shop at this store, but since my positive experience, I will put it on my list of places to find our seasonal necessities along with Kohl's or other such shops.

As we walked in, the store seemed to open up, like a grocery store for shoes. We couldn't believe how many different shoe options were there! It appeared that only one person was working in the store, but she was incredibly helpful as we were looking for various sizes of different types of shoes to try on. We both came to terms with pairs that we liked. I got a pair of running shoes and she got a pair of boots. We got offered a couple pairs of socks too to go with our new shoes, but we passed on the offer because we have plenty of socks! All in all, a very good experience at this Famous Footwear.

I stopped in for a comfortable $11 sweater my sister found at another location, and I was dissapointed to see they did not have it. I tried to get a worker's attention, but she was too busy chatting up her male coworker folding jeans. She saw me and ignored me, and I could not find any other workers on the floor. I decided to wait in line to ask about the sweaters that were similar to one I found in store - sadly they did not have them. I was still able to score a pair of jeggings and two plain shirts - one blue and one red. Oddly enough, the red one was $11.99 before sale and the blue $7.99. The guy tried to play it off as the red was "newer" which makes no sense because the shirts are the exact same. Even the original prices were the same - and I made him aware of the black being $7.99 as well. He told me that they were told to price it this way and could not change it. Sadly. Then today I actually went into a store and held up a size one and it seriously looked like it was made for a 6 year old. So I grabbed a 3. Now the 3 fits like a 1. I got home and compared the two. They are THE EXACT SAME! It's not the numerical number that is the issue. The issue is the sizing keeps changing. A 1 this past year is now a 3. Why is it so hard to just keep things the same? Even their tops change in sizing but not nearly as often. Also, quality has gone way way downhill. Girls jeans have almost ZERO material. May as well just not wear pants!

This store is always clean, usually has the items you are looking for and has a super friendly staff.
