For mains we all kept it simple with back ribs or steaks. Sometimes, the most familiar item is the most satisfying. We shared a taste of each others food. The ribs were falling off the bone. Portions were so generous, we got to take some home. The steaks were melt-in-your-mouth. Side veggies nicely done. A very simple meal done to perfection. Up in Sudbury for the weekend (First time for myself) and we were looking for somewhere good to eat. Thanks to my wife (knower of all) for the suggestion. I'll start with the ambiance and service. The restaurant has a specific vibe and it looks great, matched with fantastic service. Our server was fantastic. She knew her dishes and was able to properly suggest and answer every question asked.. my only criticism (which was circumstantial more than anything) when it's busy the servers get bogged down. Although no cocktails were had they did look good on other tables. With all that being said, the reason you come here is the food. The Mushroom salad was amazing as a shared app. The Mushroom pasta, the lamb chop, steak frites and the salmon all came with rave reviews. The portion sizes are perfect and keep that in mind if you plan on getting dessert, even shared we had trouble finishing it (don't worry it got finished but we struggled).
