Hands down the best shawarma place in Scarborough. Try the chicken on the rock... Will definitely come again.

Adequate food but terrible portions. I got a large and was disappointed by how much there was. If you look at the pictures people have posted, you can see Osmow's does not even have the decency to fill it to the top. I expect more from paying $12. They fluff up the rice to make it seem bigger. They used to give more, but with the limited food places in the area, I guess they feel they can get away with giving less. read more

They are very generous in s Portion size and meat. This is not a place that you'd have to worry if you'll be full because 100% you will be full and satisfied. Perfect shawarma even if without spice. But I highly recommend you add even just mild. read more

I love Osmows. It tastes really good actually. The problem is the service... I asked for extra garlic sauce for chicken on the rocks and they gave me extra spicy sauce instead... I say check your food inside before you leave if you are getting take out because i don't know if they're trying to trick you or if it was a mistake. But this is the second time it has happened so... Fooled me once, shame on them; fooled me twice, shame on me. So that's why I gave 2 star :/ Just my opinion, others may have better experiences. read more

I have been to this location many times and was always satisfied with the food. Myself and my partner decided to get some late dinner, this was the only location open in our vicinity. Upon entering the restaurant we were not even greeted, I understand that it is an hour until closing but you are running a business. We received our food within 5 minutes, took it home to eat, and when we opened it we noticed that it wasn't the fresh chicken on the Rox that we are accustomed to. The rice was bland, the garlic sauce was overwhelming and the chicken was stale. I could not finish my food because I felt queasy. My partner who has a sensitive stomach; vomited out all her food and could not sleep. I am disappointed in the overall service. I ask of you that you ensure that the food is fresh at all times even if it is late at night.We still love Osmow's but we will not be going back to Military trail restaurant. After several recommendations I finally tried the chicken on the rocks......well deserving of the great reviews. Beware the hot sauce is hot so if you can't take it....dont even get the mild. I had the chicken on the rocks and it was alright but the chicken didn't taste very good cuz they put on a bunch of black pepper. I only give this 3 stars because once you have the food from the original Osmow's in Brampton, you will never want to go back here. The quality and service in Brampton is 10x better! I got chicken on the rocks. This meal has 4 layers consisting of rice, chicken, white sauce, and hot sauce. I got one line of hot sauce but every customer can personalize it to their spice tolerance. Being able to eat white sauce, chicken, and rice in one bite was deliciously satisfying! read more

I've had chicken on the rocks (chicken on rice, with the sauce on top) and chicken on the sticks (same thing, but french fries), and i've had their shawarma. Everything that I have had there has been delicious and very tasty. Their prices are really good too! The people there are awesome and usually really friendly. It's a really good quick eats place but just a warning, you will feel super fill after so might consider getting the smaller sized container over the big one the first time. read more

I went to the Aurora festival happening in downtown Toronto at Ontario place today and I bought a shawarma with rice from the Osmos food stall . Both the chicken and rice were cold. I guess they made the box already for someone else and when I went there, they just gave it me although it was cold. This review is not directed against this store though. Shit Shit and more shit. If you ever order a sandwich from this place, make sure that you previous experience chewing on leather because that is the only way you will be able to consume their food. I ordered the Philly chickensteak sandwich and the bread tasted like it was freezer burned three years ago. The service is less than mediocre and the food is average. Never going back. read more

Went once but will never return. My boyfriend and I ordered falafel wraps one late night as it was close and there was a snow storm outside. Unfortunately, it was not worth the trek and risking our lives. They got our order wrong and failed to mention they had run out of hummus (which was the part of the order they got wrong). We both can't have dairy and that's what sauce they gave instead of the hummus. We had only realized once we got home. When we called and told them they were argumentative and didn't quite apologize. Needless to say we had to go back out and try to get the order changed. That was when they told us they had no more hummus. Not when we first ordered or when on the phone the second time. To be quite honest, I was appalled at the customer service dished out by the good folks that it compelled me to sign up to Yelp and write a review. The food itself was good but the appalling service I received will deter me from visiting again. Walked in and ordered 2 "chicken on the rocks". One with the sauce poured over the dish and the other with sauce on the side. For the dish with the sauce on the side, the gentleman behind the counter gave me one small container each of the white & red sauce. When I asked him to give me an extra container of each sauce, he informed me "it is $1 extra". I kindly reminded him that I am not asking for extra sauce but rather the same amount of sauce that they would normally put in their dish. The owner of the store was behind the counter as well and he gave me an analogy of how when one goes to mcdonalds and asks for extra sauce they get charged so the same rule applies. I reminded the owner again that the sauce they poured over one of my dishes was 3x times more than what they were giving me for the dish with sauce on the side. Realizing his folly, he then told me that the $1 charge was not cause of extra sauce but because of the container. Really?!?! Please improve your customer service. Thanks read more

The food here is soooo good. I always get chicken on the rocks which is chicken with yellow rice. They put a garlic sauce on top and how much hot sauce you require. The prices arnt too bad either. Around 20 dollars for two people without drinks. The only thing is not much room to sit inside. read more

Food is tasty but not sanitary. Often the person on cash will start preparing orders without using gloves or washing his hands. They don't fill out orders as they are ordered. They often get orders incorrect. I love Osmow's food, but not the one at this location. read more

Very very delicious meals that are served. My favorite is the chicken on stix which has a special on Monday. Prices are medium but the portion size is enormous. I would definitely recommend this place if you like authentic middle eastern food read more

had high expectations due to the reviews that recommended the chicken on rocks. went in and bought one and it tasted ok but the portion sizes were inconsistent between the orders which was a big disappointment as my girlfriends order was much bigger than mine. decided to give these guys a second chance and ordered a shawarma but was told I had to pay for tzatziki sauce and hummus. that's ridiculous! you have to pay for tzatziki and humus, that's like saying you have to pay for ketchup and mustard for hot dogs. did I also mention you have to pay 0.35 cents for card transactions? big disappointment. will probably never come back read more
