2/3/23 BRAND NEW OWNERS as of one week ago- - primarily 2 strong men THOROUGHLY hard scrubbing with long brushes and full hand rinse before entering the car wash. (The mechanics of the original wash need to be updated). But the scrubbing and drying mechanism of the interior still work.. At the end THREE family members clean windows and hand wipe car THOROUGHLY! The new owner also owns a small restaurant and small construction type business. His 9 employees are primarily family except for one lady who now accepts credit car payments instead of cash ( old owners required cash). Two men scrubbed my car SO thoroughly because of the thick layer of dirty dust from my condos carports, and I gave each $2 for a rare top car job! I am a stickler about car washes ( had a bright red w real chrome bumpers/1996 Chevy Tahoe w 250,000 miles in Minnesota for 22 years with NO visible body rust!!!!). Until today when I found my favorite car wash, Cruziers on Washington downtown Sarasota maybe permanently closed, I faithfully went each month to them for their excellent reasonable wash. Osprey car wash charges $14 and I think the old interior car wash Jets spew out a wax, for my black 2008 Lexus RX had a great shine. See video. For years l took my cars from Gulf Gate to Osprey because the men working there were absolutely the best. Covid happened and l switched to gas station car washes. Then last week l went back to my Osprey Car Wash. NEVER AGAIN. I paid $17 plus a $2 tip and am beyond angry. They didn't vacuum my car and later when driving into the sun my windows were full of soapy swirls. I drove back to ask for this to be corrected. It was 3:45. The door was locked and no one there. We purchased a 12 vehicle Works Car Wash package from them and were not impressed with our first wash of either vehicle. The person vacuuming wasn't thorough at all (in either vehicle), nor was the final person doing the detailing. We tipped them $10 per vehicle and they still an inferior job. Pride in workmanship is something you are born with, it cannot be taught. This place needs to hire new people who take pride in their personal work, not a "Piece Rate" mentality. read more

Used dirty towels on the inside of the car. Car stunk for days! Price was expensive for a car wash.

Jesus- you have cheated many people, me one of them. I've been coming to this car wash for 15 years. You were nice enough to honor my wash punch card when I provided proof I paid for it. Now you say you're closed for good???? I have 5 washes coming to me. Maybe I'll get prior folks to band together and sue you for fraud. IF THAT IS CORRECT.. the new owner should accept the liability. Unfortunately, while he is probably legally responsible to honor it.... the cost to fight it outweighs the dollar amount lost. But who likes to be cheated out if their money? BUYER BEWARE... Stay away from this place unless you like to support unfair business practices where they don't honor what was committed to and paid for by a customer. Owners ...new and old.. should take better care of customers if they want to stay in business or build anew business. The new owner should reconsider his bad decision to tell the old customers with prepaid cards to take a hike! He could have taken a more pro active positive decision and said... I bought this place last week.. and I want to keep your business so I can offer you your next five car washes at fifty percent off or till your card is earned out. That would show he is customer centric owener and an honest guy but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I for one do not like to be cheated out of my money. Where're came from Chicago by car and our ride was really dirty. This car wash was near our hotel, so we decided to try it on. They did a great job for a good price, we were very satisfied( in our city there are only couple car washes that are really washing well). Thank you guys! read more

Owner just cut up my gift cards and refused to honor. He said his employee sold these fraudulently, pocketed the money. Owners needs to take responsibility and do right by customer. Be sure to ask for prices beforehand. I normally pay around $30 for a basic inside outside hand dry car wash at any local place in Sarasota. I made the mistake of not asking the price and was charged $63. The car was clean but wasn't anything extra special. read more

I brought my parents car here today to get it washed for them... First pulled in the attendant was very sweet but didn't speak much English or know what was included with the options listed... I opted for the $19.99 "Works" instead of the $14.99 because the lady wasn't sure if armoral was included. Then there was nobody at register, 5 customers waiting to pay, 30 min waiting time after paying. When I tipped the guy and hopped in it was totally still dusty all over the inside, I asked him back to wipe it down, he did for 15 seconds then said ok? I said "probably not" he just walked off. Just stopped for gas and found spots on the windows and hood especially the pollen my mother wanted gone! And a till a ton of dust that didn't get wiped at all. Pickup truck was coming out of the wash behind mine. One of their staff was cleaning inside windows of the truck and accidentally shifted truck into gear, and it ran into my car. Caused $7000 damage to his vehicle, and $850 to mine. They did not reimburse either of us. Owner has ghosted us and when I called the car wash this morning it is clear the staff has been advised to say owner Joseph Manfredo is not in and they don't know when he will be. The owner of the truck has filed an insurance claim, and I will be fiing a small claims action. They didn't even reimburse me for the wash. LOL. Stay away. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars but that isn't an option. We had our car washed the other day and had the "Works." They were short handed with 3 cars in front of us and it still took an hour for us to get out of there. After the wash, there was still dirt on the carpet, the vinyl was not wiped down, the inside windows were streaky, and the cup holders were still dirty. The back of my Jeep was not even vacuumed, and the windows in the back weren't even touched on the inside. When leaving, I had to call a worker over because they missed a big spot on the door frame by the window where there was accumulated dirt from closing the door. He used the same rag to wipe the dirt off that he had used to clean the wheels. Plus, there was no smile at all, no thank you for the business, just mediocre work. We had decided to try this place out because our Jeep was badly in need of a wash, and Tropical Car Wash was closed for remodeling. In retrospect, we should have waited for Tropical to reopen, because they are a first rate car wash. read more

RUN!!!!!!!! They take your money, sometimes you do not get a receipt!!! Tax free money these foreigners are pocketing!!!!! I arrived a guy came to the window with a receipt book and a pen. I said I wanted washed and cleaned inside. He said $45. I gave him 2x20 and took out 5 more which looked hesitant to take. This make me feel suspicious since on top he did not write a receipt!! After 1 hour, my car comes out of the washing machine and the guy says: ready. I said ready what!!! you have not cleaned it inside nor dry it and I paid $45!!! No you paid for washing only. Ok I will now call the police. Took out my phone and he said: where is your receipt?? I answered he did not give me a receipt! Then the police is NOT going to help you. To make it short... he took back the car to a "detailing area" and started to vacuum clean it and dry, still that was not $45 dollars. I then asked some customer how much they had paid. A lady said she paid $13 for outside wash only and another said around $30 but neither had received any receipt. One said I paid and he turned his back and left. I described the guy, he had a beard. Another guy said yes he is my brother but he is not here now. I said how convenient, now that my car was on the line to come out. They called him repeatedly.....he did not come. According to this guy the guy with the beard was "his brother", he was also the "PATRON" together with "MEROMERO". Now that means he was the highest Chief???????? This car wash is on the verge of legal action and one day it will be shut down if some one does not take action with all these people working there!!!!!!! Not always do they do this. They play it smart. They cheat on some and they do right to others in order to have a mixed review and mixed customers. I was requested to go back to maybe get another car wash or get some money back! NEVER I opted for this review to join those that have been taken advantage of and to alert other to GET YOUR RECEIPT specified. I hadn't been in awhile because last visit, the person in charge of register had left OMG it took two visit to pay. they had left when I returned later that afternoon I ended up going back the next morning. Today I really wanted a nice vac it was not really dirty but I just didn't have time today. When I finished work i went to put my stuff back in car(moved so nothing in the way) I doubt he even vac'd!!! so annoying!!! looked exactly the way it did when I pulled in. For years I have taken my car to Tropical weekly for a wash and interior detail. This week I decided to try this place as it was closer to home. I paid for a full exterior wash and dry as well as tire shine on my black BMW. What a waste of money. The wash itself was filthy. The brushes and straps that clean the car were black from bottom up to midway. Upon exiting, no one came forward to dry the car which was still soaking as the blower did absolutely nothing. After waiting for someone to come and dry the car and do the tires I just gave up and left. When I got home I was shocked to see that you could see dirty swirl and stripe marks from the wash as well as all the dried water spots from the dirty water. Now as I've states previously, I get my car washed weekly so there wasn't really much dirt on the car to begin with. I now have to take my car to Tropical today so they can sort out the disaster that Osprey inflicted on my car. If I could give zero stars I would. I would have been better off putting mud in a bucket and using it to wash my car and it still would have looked better than this car wash's service. read more

They did a,great job on my car. Part of the wash is mechanical and the other part is the staff. They did an excellent job. Price,is $10.

HORRIBLE. Don't ever use this place. First of all the owner/manager was very rude. Was on the phone with his girlfriend or wife the entire time he was 'waiting on me.' It took 6 hours to do what they said would be 4 hours. After spending $149 the interior was still filthy. The there was still grass in the hatchback, sand on the floor by the gas and brake peddle. The seats hadn't been cleaned at all despite the 'complete interior vinyl/leather treatment' they bragged about in their brochure. Worst place I have every had my car washed at. Teenagers from a high school have done better. read more
