The two others shook their heads and said the roof looked fine. One pointed out a repair that needed to be done but both said a new roof wasn't necessary. My conclusion is that JSI is happy to get on board with this insurance company ploy. Sad for a company that has had a good reputation.

James was prompt in sending someone out to assess the work needed and within days got back with us regarding an estimate (including a 3-year warranty) to do the work. We scheduled immediately, as other reviews for JSI were so favorable and the total cost was very reasonable. JSI's crew was right on time for the scheduled day of work. Superb job doing everything that was needed to be done. While they were short on supplies to complete, they were back within 48 hours to finish everything. Clean up was great and communication with both the crew and with James was perfect. Local business! I would not hesitate to contact them again for any and all of our roofing/exterior needs.

Alex, called me immediately to see if he could help, inquired about what needed to be fixed, and was extremely responsive after I provided pictures. Unfortunately, Alex will not be able to assist in the repairs, since he does not replace drywall or the "siding" issue since it has to be replaced by panels. The reason I am writing the review is because he was honest about what he and his team were qualified and capable of doing, and didn't try to do a money grab like many contractors are doing with the house damages all around Houston. This company advertises a 'Free Estimate' to get their foot in your door. But once they inspect the storm damage, they hold the estimate, photos, and videos hostage. They refuse to send the paperwork via email unless you meet them in person to sign a binding contract. A real free estimate doesn't require a signed contract. They are dishonest, shady, and unprofessional. Avoid them!

The upgrade was only $500 more. 3) they suggested three options which reduced my buyers anxiety 4) they gave discounts 5) when I finally returned my contract, they called the next day and scheduled for two days later 6) they came on Friday and left on Friday. And done. I got lucky but WOW, my neighbors love me. My yard was immaculate. In fact, I think it looked better...but seriously, one day!! (They did estimate 1-1/2 days but Jonathon miraculously got extra guys in, so don't get too excited for 1 day like my neighbors and me!) 7) I paid my bill timely and got GORGEOUS red roses that made my boyfriend jealous. I like to feel like I'm special, so - to even the playing field - Rose Roofing is hereby obligated to send roses. I'm certainly excited that I'll be using them again soon. So I have to call DISH to come out and install another one and I have to PAY for it and wait a couple days before they can come. I'm upset because it was a miscommunication and they would not own up to 50% of it. I don't need them to pay for a new antenna, I just wanted them to acknowledge it was partially their fault. At the time I made that proposal, I had not yet consulted with an attorney and was not fully aware of my legal rights. My offer was made in good faith in an effort to resolve this dispute. FairClaims did not accept or respond to that proposal at the time, the company ghosted me for over a year. The amount I offered would not even cover the cost of correcting the installation deficiencies & hiring qualified contractors to complete the outstanding work that FairClaims was paid to perform. FairClaims requested mediation, and I responded with a good-faith settlement proposal in the hope of resolving this matter. If Fairclaims Roofing / FCR Services is a honest company, they would want to do right thing, They would agree to a fair and reasonable settlement: 1) refund for work they failed to do and incorrect installation 2) cover all repairs and all outstanding work, however, based on the unreasonable settlement offer I recently received, I do not believe that their request for mediation was made in good faith to resolve this dispute, If this matter proceeds to litigation, when I am successful, I intend to seek all damages and remedies available under applicable law, including attorney's fees, costs, and any other relief authorized by law including RCAT and DTPA claims.

Initially the transaction was superb, and we were really excited to own the beautiful home. We have more rooms within the house that leak due to a poor roofing subcontractor (Fairclaims Roofing) than we have dry rooms that has failed to remedy the situation in visiting the house and repairing it at least 8 times. Each time we paid for the visit to the roofing subcontractor the builder said they used. The owner, Justin, company came out a couple times but was as incompetent in recommending a fix and identifying the problem as the crew was installing the roof. His excuses were blaming it on the design of the house, the builder built this as a model home so the roof was not done with the right quality, and the builder was not willing to pay for the correct materials, etc. Moving forward from that mess we had independent roofing inspectors individually inspect the leaking areas and the entirety of the roof. Well, it comes to find out that our shingles would not even pass a warranty because the roof was not properly installed and the granularization of the shingles showed they were too old and improperly stored prior to installation. PLEASE NOTE: This was two different independent inspectors that noted the EXACT SAME THING.....you need a new roof due to the poor craftsmanship on the roof and how can you warranty something that was never done right in the first place.
