My daughter referred me and took me to Dr. Burke in Camp Hill. The man took x-rays check my leg and knee asked me if I was ready for surgery. I said yes. I was scheduled for knee replacement surgery. Three weeks later. What a blessing and I have no problems whatsoever with my knee. Two weeks ago, Dr. Beurk performed a rotator cuff reversal on my left arm. What a difference already. Dr. Beurk and his staff give excellent care, compassionate to needs and waste no time providing excellent services to give patients relief. I'm done with Geisinger Orthopedics. I will continue to go here orthopedics.

I refused the shot, and decided to try physical therapy. I walked out of the first well known therapy center after showing up for my first appointment and being told they wouldn't treat Me without a mask on. I was having A good amount of pain and did not want to make myself any more uncomfortable by wearing a face mask. I drove right over to Fyzical after learning i would not Be forced to wear a face mask in their establishment. Staff was welcoming and beyond accomadating with a personalized plan to get rid of my pain. my therapist, Melissa P, really listened to what was going on and with her treatment and my work at home on exercises she gave me, I was pain free in about 2 months. I am now back at the fitness classes i Always enjoyed and never thought I'd be able to participate in again. This place gave me my lifestyle back and I can't thank them enough!!!

I saw Dr. Jyoti Sharma about a hand problem that she diagnosed as arthritis. She said there was…read morenothing she could do for me. A few days later, I requested a referral to a rheumatologist. I can get a referral from my family doctor, but since Dr. Sharma had the x-rays, and she and the rheumatologist are both part of the UPMC system, it seemed more appropriate to get the referral from her office. A few days later, I received a call from her office telling me that my insurance - they didn't say which one - had refused to approve the referral. None of my doctors have authorization to contact my insurance carriers for any purpose other than the payment of their own bills, and my insurance carriers do not require pre-approval for referrals. And even if they did, I am perfectly capable of paying a bill on my own if it comes to that. I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems pretty clear to me that either this office has no idea what they are doing, or they simply made up a story in order to avoid doing whatever minor bit of work is involved in making a referral. I will not be returning to this practice, and would not recommend them.
