I was sold after my first appointment. If you live in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area, this is your guy. If you live downtown, this is still your guy. I swear he's worth the drive. I've never had a doctor pay more attention to what I'm telling him and genuinely care about what it is that I'm saying... and that's priceless. He's also a pretty funny guy who tries to be "hip" to what's going on in the world and strikes up the funniest conversations! Dr. McIntosh is thorough and knowledgeable, and he'll get you back up and running in no time. I've seen him for typical stuff such as allergies and colds, and he makes great recommendations and always gives me tips that help me feel ten times better. I even had to call the after-hours line once with a bad sinus infection (sure he appreciated that one) and he was still as caring and attentive even though I was bugging him late at night. What puts him above all others is how he follows up and doesn't give up until you've fixed whatever the problem is. For myself, the allergy queen, he prescribed a medicine and a nose spray and had me check in with him 7 days later via the phone, and we spoke that often until he had me on a plan that was working wonders. Looks like I'll be driving that 45 minutes next time I need him!

Dr. McIntosh has been my primary care doctor for over a decade. He is very personable and has an excellent bedside manner. He has seen me through quite a few health issues and always pops through when I've been admitted to the hospital. We don't have all the answers for my health problems but I can't say he doesn't LISTEN to every single one of them. He orders tests and refers me to specialists when needed. I've never felt misunderstood or dismissed which is not something I can say for many many specialists I've seen. To be fair, Auto Immune diseases are notoriously difficult to diagnose but I can confidently say Dr. McIntosh is doing everything he can to help me get answers. I would send anyone I know to see him without reservation. *Read up on Celiac Disease, doc! The amount of misinformation from medical professionals on this is criminal and a huge disservice to those who have it. Effects from celiac damage can spill over into almost every other part of your body. Celiac is for life and a negative blood test/scope (after a positive one) means you're doing well GF. it does NOT mean Celiac went away and you can eat what you wish! The pain got to the point that standing and sitting for any length of time was very uncomfortable. The pain I experienced never let up. Not even when laying done. After many doctor visits over many years all ending up being told it was ALL in my head or having procedures that relieved zero pain including a full hysterectomy. I started hours of researching once again. I came across Dr. Russell Imboden in St. Charles, Mo. I had visited his website several times over the years. I was looking at the stem cell therapy. I was placed on a regimen of five protein drinks per day plus numerous drugs. About two weeks into the procedure I began to develop severe pains in my legs and my feet. I called the office every day, crying and complaining. I was told that this was a part of the process of developing strong muscles. I decided to stick it out. In February of 2014, my legs and feet were in full neuropathy mode. He told me that by April, I would have complete restoration of feeling in my extremities. By April, my situation was much worse. By Thursday 3/20/25 at 3PM I still had not heard anything and called the office and was told they still hadn't received communication from the provider. I was told I would hear something by the end of the day. I just took off work and made an appointment for 3/21/25 after my US they cancelled my appointment with Dr. Ganz due to a delivery which I understand. I called today 3/25/25 and again spoke to Tanya about my concerns. Tanya blamed Dr. Ganz and refused to allow me to transfer care. Tanya then said since they can't meet my need they will terminate me as a patient and she will no longer allow me to schedule with their office and said she was ending the call since she would no longer be assisting me. I wasn't yelling or raising my voice. I had legitimate concerns and instead of trying to resolve it I was terminated as a patient? Tanya refused to fill out an OFI report which is an Opportunity for Improvement report against a situation. Tanya then refused to get me to her manager.

We have found him to be very caring, a good listener, he knows the right questions to ask pertaining to our visit, and gives us a very high quality of care because he is so knowledgeable. We also appreciate all of his staff who are also very dedicated to excellent patient care. We appreciate that our wait times are good, getting in to see him within a few minutes of our arrival. Another thing we really like about Dr. Grus, that being established patients, we can usually get a same-day or next day appointment, instead of having to go to an urgent care. I believe he does this as a service for his patients, and I think all doctors should do this. We have a good experience from start to finish because there is plenty of parking, check in is speedy, a lab is available on site, and checkout is in his office. The facility is also very clean and welcoming. We highly recommend Dr. Grus if you are looking for a new doctor and a great all around patient experience. We give him 5 Stars!

The medical assistant was very skillful and was able to successfully remove the ingrown toenail. I'd feared the surgical operation would be needed. She took the time needed to do it right. It was all but completely painless, to my pleasant surprise, and the relief was immediate. Dr. Trample met with me during the procedure, described what was going on, and debunked some common online myths surrounding treatment - jiving with the research I had done, but I learned new things, too. Some places will insist on surgery. They took the cheaper, less invasive route, knowing it was all that was necessary. They have my respect and my gratitude, and I heartily recommend them. It's nice when you take a chance and you win!

I asked if they were okay with us giving home injections, I told Kayleigh I was a nurse and my husband said he knew how to give injections. We only said this to see if they had any concerns. Kayleigh couldn't really hear my husband - it's loud where he works. Kayleigh told us some things we were not aware of. Kayleigh treated us poorly like my husband had no choice in the care since he was asking to start immediately to do what's best instead of waiting two weeks. Kayleigh said she would talk to the doctor and have them call my husband back. Instead they called the other parent causing issues that were not needed and my husband has yet to get a call. Clearly they have issues working with blended families as this is not the first time (see google reviews). They lied to my SD's mom and told her things that were untrue. Extremely unprofessional. SO to avoid dealing with my husband they changed their initial treatment plan from every week to every other week so dad can not be involved. We will be reporting their practice. update: please read their google reviews as it appears pinning parents against another is a common practice.

When you call to make an appointment, you will get a call center and if you have even the slightest question about the appointment you will be transferred to the "back line" - but you will never be given that number because it's super secret. It is supposedly the nurse's line, but you can leave messages all you want, you won't get a response. But if you make a complaint to the State about an aspect of your care not related to the N.P., like I did, you'll get a call the. very. same. day. as. the. complaint. So if you don't care about ever seeing an actual doctor, or about getting your phone calls returned, or having the feeling that the only way to get someone's attention there is by making a complaint to a state licensing board, then this is the place for you.
