Gus from Big Rapids Roofing came out and gave a much better price than other bids I got, plus his company uses the brand shingle and holds the certification I wanted. I was delayed until into December from starting by my chimney build, but as soon as my chimney was finished Big Rapids Roofing was able to start. They had to blow snow off the roof in order to work. Their crew did an excellent job, worked from daybreak on into dark. Their clean up was pristine. Because of the winter weather, their equipment left some tracks in the yard, and they made every effort to remedy this by sending a guy with several bags of dirt and grass seed to repair the yard. I didn't press for this, they did it because they were responsible.

The day they were to be installed the installers went to the wrong house. Got that corrected and they showed up two hours late. Went right to work removing the old doors. Started installing the new doors and it didn't fit but the installers said they could make it work. The new doors were missing a clip that holds the glass to the frame. Installers said they would send out support to fix it in a day or two. Then when they left they ran into the garage breaking the siding. No word from Pella for two weeks so called to find out when they were going to send someone to fix the window and garage. They said they didn't know there was a problem. Will send someone out. Waited two weeks, nothing. Called again, they said they didn't know anything and will take care of it. Called sales person, he was going to take care of it. Got a call from an employee who wanted a written statement and photos. Sent information and she said she would talk to management. It's been three months and nothing has been done.
