A few pieces of siding blew off our garage. They fixed it neatly, quickly, and inexpensively. Great job!

What a nightmare. Hack job city. It was wavy, not in a straight line. The fence went up and down at the bottom and. Several poles were left sticking up at least a foot and a half higher than the rest. The 12' double gate was installed next to the house. Was supposed ro be in the middle. And it was in front of the ac condenser, well pipes, Sump pump lines. I had them move them to the middle. They weren't happy about that. These guys dug crooked holes. I asked them if they use a chalk line. Was told those holes are for reference. The poles will be arrow straight. What a joke. The hardware for the gate latches weren't even used. There were only two screws out of four holes used. One was a self tapping the other was the large screw. Screws were broken off. There is so much wrong. My husband and I pulled up everything. We had a profession fencing company over ro look at it. They said, it all needs ro come out and have a professional fence installer. We only paid the company $1648. They basically left a mess. Open concrete bads in the yard paper amd debris all over the neighborhood. Embarrassing as we just moved in. They came back and wanted payment of $4200. I told them no way. They need ronrip out that mess. They said itbwoukd cost us extra. When asked, they said they did an excellent job. About 100 people stopped in the neighborhood to compliment them kids and so many people. Doubt that. They were talking about the trees being removed and the excellent excavating. NOT the fence. It was embarrassing. Drilled into two sprinkler lines.

Our new door purchase started with a knock on our front door, original to the house from 1952. We…read morehad talked about replacing it (the door), so we offered to listen to the sales pitch. The salesman was friendly, well spoken and well informed. We opted for a new door and storm door, and the price was reasonable. We gave them $1300 for a down payment with the stipulation that they work around our schedule, not setting up any appointments before 4:00pm. We were promised this was not an issue. This was in September. They were unable to set an appointment for measurement around our schedule, all of the offers coming via text for early to late morning. October 1st we were offered 12:00-2:00, then 7:30am or lunch hour. Three weeks passed with no communication at all from them, at which time I reached out to the salesman. Oct 25th we were offered 10:00-12:00. We were offered Oct 31st for 7:00-7:30 or 12:00-1:00. My work shift is 7:00am-3:30pm. We made this very clear with the salesman before giving them any money. I had a phone conversation with their sales manager, who was the least professional person I've spoken with on the phone in a very long time, trying to cancel our order. The phone conversation was so bad my wife had to leave the room. They refused to cancel the order. Or rather, told me they would be keeping our $1300 if that's the route we wanted to go. We opted to see it through. We finally made an appointment for Dec 30th. The appointment was for 11:00-1:00. Fortunately I had a vacation day that day and was able to be home. Rather than continue arguing the matter, I used my vacation day to sit at home while they installed the door. The installers were very nice. We have a new door, but it will be tied to the experience every time I use it. Their inability to live up to their promise of working around our schedule, in my opinion, constituted breach of verbal contract. They should have happily refunded our money and apologized for the inconvenience. It is now Jan 10th and we have had no follow up from the company. Their lack of communication has been unconscionable. I would not do business with this company again and would never recommend them to anyone.

Since being taken over by the new company, my roommate and I have had nothing but trouble. This is…read morereally no fault of their lovely staff, but a direct reflection of the company as a whole. After move-out, I was notified of a $150 fine for damage to my couch. I would like to be clear that my couch was fine, it was the only "new" piece of furniture we received during move-in. I had gotten a puppy in October, but she is incredibly well-behaved and was never left unattended. The chair had been damaged by the previous owner's dog and we have proof to back that up. I called them that same day, that Tuesday, and again on Wednesday. I never received on answer on Monday/Tuesday, and on Wednesday was told that "they couldn't discuss damages over the phone," yet hadn't emailed me back. I called corporate on Wednesday, and they opened an investigation. When I checked my resident portal on Friday, the fee was gone. All but .07¢ of it. I called and talked to them about it and was told "Oh it was a mistake. They charged the wrong apartment." Like?? They send us an email stating there were pictures taken and evidence of destruction, not to mention potential legal repercussions if the fee wasn't paid by the 20th. I am not sure if this was truly a "mistake" or if this was an attempt at getting extra money out of my family. I have been excess charged before after the new management company took over. Be warned: Scion doesn't have their crap together. Also, DO NOT call their call center, they'll say they'll escalate the problem then never call you back or change anything. I'd also like to say this has nothing to do with any of the incredible staffers at the Reserve. The front desk & maintenance people are incredibly kind and are super responsive and helpful 96% of the time. It's Scion that's the issue.

When…read moreI moved in my parents and I had to clean the apartment 2 days straight due to how dirty it was. There was grease and food stains all over the kitchen walls. All the walls were scuffed up, filthy and had damage to them. There was black animal hair all in the window seals and baseboards from prior tenants. The furniture in the living room had holes and were all scratched up, which were never replaced. I received a mattress that had a huge orange/yellow stain with springs popping out of it, which did get replaced immediately. When I moved in I was never notified that I was going to be receiving another roommate. The roommate I was notified for in a month of advance texted me the day of moving in asking if I knew about the extra roommate that just walked into the apartment while she was sitting on the couch. I had no clue, turns out the extra roommate signed that day and the staff let her move in, which I was told that we were supposed to be given a 48 hour notice. I didn't even receive her name from the office. My roommate that I knew and I are both 22 and 24 years old. They moved an 18 year old into our apartment that just graduated high school. Nothing against her, but we are both done with college and this follow did not follow any of our roommate preferences. When I moved out I was charged $25 for trash. There was no trash left in the apartment. They charged me $100 for the couch which was absolutely in terrible shape when I moved in. They also charged me an outrageous price, $70, for "small" plastic blinds. Which looking up on Walmart, those blinds cost $8 a piece. I had to fight to get the trash and the couch fee removed. They never even looked at my move in slip showing what type of damages were in the apartment complex prior to moving in. Luckily I took pictures before I moved in. I am still being charged $70 for blinds which I will not being paying due to the situation below.
