So...I had to buy my first "mobility assistance device," and I wasn't sure what would meet my needs. Matias and Samantha spent an hour and a half with me, trying all kinds of things--and make no mistake, Oswald's has *all the things*--before I settled on forearm crutches, which Matias adjusted several times to make sure they were a good fit. They were sensitive to my first-time-ness, which helped a ton. And they seemed to get my gallows humor. They made what could have been a painful experience pleasant. OsWald's pharmacy is the only place to go for your durable medical equipment! I can't tell you how much of a wonderful experience I received from them. Their entire staff, Samantha, Tilly, Matias, James and Alex the manager are awesome! They made sure I received exactly what I needed for my condition and were very good to me, as I had to keep my rental electric chair for longer than expected. They gave me a very nice discount for my troubles with another DME company. . They also picked out the perfect rollater for me. Every time I called they worked with me to ensure my happiness! I was extremely impressed with the help I received from Jerry when I called with a problem with my remote control for our Golden sleep chair recliner. The company we purchased the chair from was useless in answering any of our questions or giving us any technical support. They referred me to three service centers in my area. The third one I called was Oswald's Medical and then I was on my way in solving the problem. I explained what our remote was not doing and Jerry took it upon himself to call to check if the remote was still under warranty. He walked me through getting the information he needed. He promptly called me back, it was covered and he was able to put a new remote in the mail to me that same day. I couldn't thank him enough for all his help. The nicest people work here! First time going in the shop, I had no idea all the wonderful items they stock. Aisles upon aisles of really nice children's toys (including Melissa & Doug brand). A wide variety of what I would consider gift items, like cute housewares, and Willow Tree figurines. There's even a legit mini post office inside, and I bet it's a better experience than most other post office! More recently, I used their curbside pickup. I placed my order over the phone, and the associate couldn't have been friendlier, and was also very patient reviewing options and pricing for face masks, checking for stock on another item I asked about, etc. I was able to pick up my order for contactless curbside pickup the same day, with no hassle at all. So overall, a very good assortment of merchandise (essential items and fun stuff) and excellent, personable, kind service. read more

Customer Service is priority at Oswalds. I now use mail in service for prescription drugs as that's what my insurance pays for! However, I often go in there for cards or special gifts and take advantage of Post Office service. After much research online, I learned that I could try out some lift chairs in the Medical Supplies Department of Oswalds Pharmacy. Let me say that from the moment I entered, staff were "on it" assisting me. Not being a person who makes up her mind quickly, I have to compliment Jerry especially, not only for his expertise, but also his patience! Purchased a hospital bed from them and after delivery noticed that side rails were wobbling and loose. Called Oswald's up and they said they were super busy and they would try to get a tech out to look at the bed. When the tech came he quickly fixed the problem because the first 2 guys had put the rails on the bed wrong. So glad to have the job corrected. read more

This store is the Best. i usually go in for the pharmacy or the post office but I always end up shopping way too much! They have so much to buy. I just did all my easter shopping in one stop. I absolutely love the new selection of fancy soaps and lotions. All the Naperville items are great too. They are always busy and i like how the shelves are full of new , often trendy items. Whoever does the buying is doing an awesome job because they seem to have the newest trends. I can shop for my 4 year old grand daughter, my seventeen year old daughter, my 50 year old sister and my elderly mother all in the same store.The prices are great as well. Oswald's is superb. The pharmacy staff goes out of their way to educate me on the medications, how to use and whether or not is really the way to go. Further, the pharmacist tracked me down in the store one day while I was waiting for my medication and had an OTC medication that was just as good and a lot cheaper! Typical caring service. The rest of the store provides unique, quality gifts. The new medical equipment section is huge. Finally, Oswald's is next to Casey's for top quality meat and Trader Joes for their special foods. read more

Terrible place to go, simply awful. I came in 31 days after purchasing a walker accessory for my dad wanting to trade for a model that fit. Even new in box, never used, I was told absolutely no way to return after 30 days, even for an exchange. I then told them it had been a tough month that my mother passed away, and I was then told "it doesn't matter". The customer service could not be worse than at Oswald's. read more

I had a bad experience with the Pharmacist. I called ahead to make sure they could fill my prescription quickly because I had my small child with me. They assured me the prescription would be filled within 20 minutes. I dropped off my prescription and gave my cell # if there was ANY PROBLEMS. I returned after 30 minutes and was told there was an issue with filling the prescription. The Pharmacist made no effort to expedite filling my prescription and, in fact, made a point of snacking, chatting with other staff, and taking her time despite the fact she knew I was in a hurry.
