We love our little local Walgreens! The pharmacy staff is very helpful and generally moves quickly. When we get our flu shots here, they are always very kind. This week the pharmacy staff greatly helped me through switching insurance. The front check out can be slow at times, and some of the staff really push the walgreens card a little too much, but I know it's probably because they've been told to. Overall this is a clean store and a great addition to our community. I stop here at least once a week! read more

I also want to mention an incident that occurred a few months ago when I visited this location with my mother. While we were in line to purchase some items, I noticed a group of freshmen from my school purchasing Plan B pills. The staff processed the transaction without hesitation or verification. Additionally, I saw senior students purchasing birth control pills with the same lack of oversight. It's concerning to see how casually the staff handles such sensitive purchases, seemingly prioritizing sales over responsibility. This place is a dump. Call me for refill reminders and yet when it's ready don't call me. The technician was rude like I was troubling her to get my script and chewing gum like a pig .I thing Kwashiorkhor was her name. why don't you just close down. you are not a credit to the pharmacy profession. This is by far the worst Walgreens in the Naperville area. I have been here several times over the years we have been here, for various things. I have never had a good experience. I have spent long long times in waiting for the register, waiting for the pharmacy, waiting for the drive through line. The staff seem generally unhappy, usually not rude, but unhappy. Maybe they are working for a bad boss. The store is dirty, poorly organized, food items are often out of date and on and on. As I said. I have never had a good experience. Today I went in and wanted a passport picture at 5:35. I had a meeting at 6. I asked the young man if he can do a passport picture, and he looked at me and said "I have something to do, wait for a while". I was only at this location. Because we were close. But I felt as if customers are so low on their priorities, I just walked out. Drove to Washington / 87th location. My usual location. Always reliable and friendly. I asked for a passport picture, the young man said as polite and easy going, and super fast. I walked in the door at that location at 5:47. I walked out with my passport pictures at 5:57 and called into my meeting on time. Go to the Wehrli at 75h location if you want to be treated like crap and have all the time in the world. A family member in Naperville bought me a $50 Amazon gift card at this Walgreens location and mailed it to me in AZ for my birthday back in October 2024. I attempted to redeem this gift card with amazon on Oct 30th and learned the card was compromised/ already redeemed MONTHS BEFORE IT WAS PURCHASED FOR ME. It is now Dec 9, 2024 and Walgreens Corp consumer relations department is still taking their sweet ole time "researching" the issue and I have not been reimbursed for the issue. 6 WEEKS!!! Despite having provided Walgreens Corp with copies of the gift card, gift card envelope, activation receipt and purchase receipt. Walgreens does not stand behind purchases made at their stores and I will never buy any gift cards there again due to their lack of urgency, lack of integrity and lack of security at the local store level. Disgraceful that I am the one made to suffer in this. They simply do not care. read more

please oh, please do not use this pharmacy. the prescriptions are never ready when they're supposed to be and when you called to find out where they are you are met with attitude. They used to at least notify you when your prescription was delayed. do not bother using their animated refill service because they won't actually refill it. You need to call several times, often being often being left on hold often being left on hold for a very unreasonable amount of time and then go in on it to be told it's not ready. save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else. read more

So this place still for the most part is terrible if don't enjoy waiting in line and their are multiple cashiers that smell terrible. You can smell the B.O. right when you walk in the door. Yes, it's just a Walgreens, but the one closest to my house was not able to take passport photos. This was the next, nearest Walgreens, so I stopped in. The young lady was very professional, took the photo ~ no glasses, no facial expression allowed. I wonder if men with a beard or mustache have to shave it off to have theirs taken. I have had so many bad experiences here but I have kept thinking that things have to get better...but after over 3 year I have to resolve they are not going to get better. First: pharmacy. Slowest drive through and extremely poor service. This is consistent. One time, after waiting over 20 minutes, I get to the front and the woman is explaining process to another staff member. I do respect that people have to learn-but not during busy times! Second: low cdc follow through. I have avoided going in any stores through Covid, but I had to pick out cards. Staff is always friendly, but trying to call has always been a long process. Multiple times I have tried to call the pharmacy, been on hold for 30 minutes-an hour and told I'm the next caller, and then the call dropped. I've immediately called back and then been told there's 3 callers ahead of me in line, which was extremely frustrating. read more

It's a Walgreens, it's a chain, and though it's not all *that* different from most Walgreens, it's been open nearly a year and still has no reviews. Sometimes, even Walgreens need love. In comparison to others sharing the same name and corporate bank account, this Walgreens is on the swankier side. Like, a lot of people live in a house, but not a lot of people live in THE White House. This Wall-G is like the capital Dubyagreens. Clean light brick exterior, double wide aisles, immaculate bathrooms that you don't need a key code to get into, lots of up right and label forward stock along with some unique items that I haven't seen at other Walgreens in the area like apples, $3 clearance nail sticker appliques and anal/pubic hair bleach. Yes, that's f'real. It's in between the 'adult health' and 'hair removal' section and it's pretty much there on it's own... but judging from the last 2 little blue boxes left in stock, it's a big hit in Naperthrill. I had an UNBELIEVABLY bad customer experience with the Wehrli location in Naperville. The employees were SHOCKINGLY rude & unempathetic to out-of-town friends of ours that had scheduled their Covid testing online. They were unable to make their originally scheduled time because their Uber driver refused to take them through the drive-thru for testing. When we contacted the store, Walgreens' automated recording states 'If you are unable to make your appointment, you can still go anytime that day or the next for testing.' When we showed up, they refused to test them & called me a liar about their recorded message. Clearly, their employees need training on their own policies. It's scary to think they are responsible for the health & safety of their customers when they obviously don't care about them. read more

Extremely uneducated pharmacists, Rhonda's the most helpful, Christine is usually confused but can get the job done if you teach her, and the male is not only uneducated but also quite arrogant and will speak over you and not give you a chance to ask him something. If you have extensive work I recommend getting either a doctor or insurance directly on the phone with them to explain as they tend to make up their own understandings which aren't accurate. If you don't, you'll make life pretty hard. Other than that, normal functions they can do. The store itself is fine. Techs are also great! read more

I just went to pick up a script today. There was a bit of a line, and I was taken aback when the pharmacy assistant loudly said the name of my medicine as a way of asking if it was the prescription I was expecting. Lucky for me, I was picking up my allergy med, which doesn't have much of a stigma attached to it. Even so, you would think he would know better. I was just watching a Dana Carvey comedy special the other day and he was actually doing a bit about something exactly like this scenario. He was joking around about people picking up their erectile disfunction, ADD, psychosymatic, an other meds and the pharmacist calling out the meds loudly. I was thinking to myself that it was funny, but would never really happen. Proved me wrong! I actually had a high school acquaintance of mine become a pharmacist, and one day, to my horror, there she was on the other side of the counter when I went to pick up fertility drugs (many years ago!). It was an unsettling feeling knowing she knew private things about me, which she made even worse by actually asking me if I was having trouble getting pregnant. The nerve! Don't they some code of privacy they by which they are expected to abide? Anyway, I digress. Besides today's blunder by the assistant at Walgreens, I actually wanted to come update my review because I want to add something positive. Since I went inside the store to buy some other items today, I was reminded how friendly and helpful the sales associates and cashiers always are at this location. There is always somebody to greet you when you walk in, cheerfully help you find what you're looking for, and ring up your items with some pleasant small talk and a smile. I tend to notice that generally, Walgreens managers tend to take themselves way too seriously (why is that?), but they must be doing a decent job if the employees all seem happy and the well-stocked store is orderly. So that's it for my rather lengthy update. I'll sum it up by saying that, while not perfect, Walgreens is a store I really like. I've been shopping there since I was a kid and other stores (like CVS) just don't do it for me. read more

Most of the store staffs are nice and helpful. Just one of the lady( she is a supervisor and first name initial with L) is not nice. I don't know why and how she works in this store because she makes you stressful and unwelcome when you are talking to her. I asked her to help me in the store but she gave the bad attitude back to me. It's very easy for her but she made it like I'm the person who should follow up her. The cashier David makes my fiancé and I EXTREMELY uncomfortable every time we go in here. He stares at you for a creepy amount of time. My fiancé says she feels violated by David's gaze and scared to go in by herself if he is working. She has actually turned around and gone to a different store because David was working and she was alone. This guy needs to be spoken to about his way of working. Makes customers very uncomfortable. Even today I went in alone and while David was ringing up another customer he was just staring at me for a good 45 seconds to a minute. I purposefully avoid eye contact with David. read more

Employees are nice, pharmacy not so much. It doesn't matter if u go in store or pharmacy drive through, it takes FOREVER. They'll say 15 min, you end up sitting around for 3 hours for them to have even a pre packaged Rx ready. Even when no other customers are in line at drive through, be prepared to wait. Every time I get a call my Rx is ready, I'll sit in the drive through and see no other customers and the pharmacists standing around chatting while I wait. They always overcharge and I have to correct them. They assure me next time it'll be fine, and again they try and overcharge. Many times I've had to back out of drive though line or leave store Bc I just don't have hours to waste waiting when they say it's supposedly ready for pick up. Then they call, text, and email harassing saying to pick up soon or they'll re-stock it. I find most Walgreens are like this. So annoying read more

The primary problem is that the staff has an apathetic attitude and they present the perception that they do not want to be there. Their hours are more limited than other Walgreens stores. We have been going here since it opened as it is very close to us but we would shop elsewhere whenever possible.
