I was told that it was skin laxity that I had and not so much fat so EMsculp was preferred and the results were excellent. There are many "medical cosmetic" clinics around and unfortunately, so many are focused on quantity/selling without providing proper assessments and or delivery of appropriate services. This clinic is not like others-staff is professional, knowledgeable and the addition of two physicians who also deliver services and can deal with complications should they occur is very reassuring. I will not hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for quality care, and at an affordable price I may add.

I was never asked what I liked or consulted about anything, she just went for it. And also, they never even trimmed my eyebrows at all, just waxed and plucked, I don't even think she remembered she just wanted to be done with me as quickly as possible. I don't know what I paid such a hefty price tag for ($45!!), when I am going to have to fix everything when I go home anyways. Edit: No I am not taking any oral or topical medications, I've done the same service before and I have never completely scabbed over like this. My other eyebrow (while not done well regarding shaping) has only a small scab but is otherwise not torn like the one I've shown in the picture. I truly believe that they do not properly train on how to do and wax eyebrows, the woman who did mine perhaps didn't use wax which was hot enough (the other brow that wasn't hurt was done last by which time the wax may have been better) or pulled at the wrong angle. I spoke to the woman who did them and immediately she turned the situation so that I would feel like I may have done something wrong, asking about medications and then finally saying I must be more sensitive and that I should just use some polysporin and it will be okay. It's been 2 full days since she touched my brows and the scab is not only still there, it's even darker. I can't even cover it with makeup because the texture shows through and I wouldn't even do that because I don't want to irritate the wound further. I've just been nursing my scab for the past few days instead of "enjoying" what my 45$ bought me. It's just not worth it. If they had even apologized or offered me something to compensate for the injury then I wouldn't say this, but that's just not something Caryl Baker would ever do, so please, believe me when I tell you that in this place, other that the one or two people that have offered any service for me, EVERYONE else is incompetent, rude, and will charge you wayyy above the quality of work they provide. I have been going to this location for 2 and a half years now and this is the final straw I needed to make me realize that this place is garbage. I urge you to find somewhere else to take your business before you regret it like I do now.

I came here a while back to get my eyebrows done. I was trying to think why I didn't come back but I couldn't remember. Usually if a place does a really poor job I always remember. The memories of why kind of came back pretty quickly.. This place was a little cramped. Its very small and usually pretty busy. I was squeezed in immediately. I waited 10 minutes to see someone, not too bad. While I was waiting the station I was at had a bunch of leftover wax (with hair on it) still all over the counter. Kind of gross. When the lady doing my eyebrows got to me she apologized profusely. This didn't bother me. She told me she does her eyebrows a little thicker and offered to do mine to my natural shape, not too thin like most places do. I like mine a little tiny bit thin sometimes but I decided to let her go with it. As soon as she started back I remembered why I didn't come here again. They have a membership card and they are SOOO pushy about it. She talked about it the entire time and I really tried hard not to show any interest. When she was finished she said "so just the brow wax along with the membership?" After I explained I really didn't want it she kind of seemed irritated by this. Despite the big tip I gave her. I think mine came to $21, tip included. My eyebrows do really look good. She did a great job shaping them. But holy crap I can't listen to them talk about their membership the entire interaction, and they're sooo pushy! I'd likely come back here in a pinch but I'd make it very obvious I have 0 desire to get a membership.

While I…read morecannot comment on all her esthetic services, I would strongly recommend that you do not have electrolysis done by her. Because I was naive and trusted what she told me about electrolysis, I had electrolysis performed by weekly for over a year. While the amount of hair is reduced, I'm left with permanent scars all over my skin. After getting one area treated for six months, I saw no noticeable reduction. She does not follow minimum hygeine standards for electrolysis either. Really, electrologists should wear gloves and use a new set of sterilizied equipment for each client. Amy doesn't even always wash her hands! and uses the same tweezers from one client to the next. (Rubbing tweezers with alcohol is not sufficient to sterilize them.) I also found the electrolysis more painful than other electrolysis I've experienced since. In terms of lack of professionalism, my appointments were often cancelled and were never for as long as I booked. Amy would often answer and talk on the phone while performing electrolysis. There is also no privacy - other clients can see you sprawled out and exposed when they go to use the washroom. There are many other electrologists who offer superior services to Amy's. They may be slightly more expensive, but the electrolysis is more hygenic, less painful, doesn't scar, and, most importantly, is more effective! Getting electrolysis can be a highly emotional experience for some, but you don't settle on an electrologist just because they're nice.
