The first time…read moreI ever saw bioluminescence was in Puerto Rico back in 2018, and it's still one of the most beautiful nighttime experiences I've ever had--right up there with seeing the Northern Lights. There's just something so magical about watching the water glow around you. We drove about 50 minutes from Orlando to Merritt Island for the tour, where we launched from the Indian River Lagoon, and it was absolutely worth it. This is one of those experiences that's really hit or miss, so keep in mind that the amount of bioluminescence you see isn't something the tour company can control. We got lucky because there was so much activity that night! We actually didn't kayak very far since the bioluminescence was so active right near the shoreline. We spent most of our time enjoying it from that area because there was no need to go much farther. Also, don't expect your phone camera to do it justice. It's incredibly hard to capture on camera, and it's so much more breathtaking in person. I highly recommend this experience to everyone, and I already can't wait to do it again!

You will cruise past beautiful scenery and impressive multi-million-dollar homes aboard a comfortable pontoon boat with sunshades. Captain Steve is both punctual and friendly. He has a lot of knowledge on the local wildlife, flora, and notable past and present residents of the area. All seats require advance booking by phone, and at just $25 per person - it's incredibly reasonable for everything you will see and learn. Be sure to take pictures! The lakefront homes are gorgeous. I really appreciated that the group size was small as it creates a more intimate setting and makes it easier to engage with Captain Steve and ask questions throughout the tour. 5 stars.

While we waited for them to reopen, we enjoyed a stop at the bar right across the way. Once the weather cleared, which took a little longer than we expected, we headed back over. The staff was really nice and made sure we were able to get right on the water. They allow you to go out for 30 minutes, which was definitely quite the workout! I really enjoyed seeing all the different Florida birds while we paddled around. I also thought it was super cute that the boats have little umbrellas over them, which definitely helps with the Florida heat. We highly recommend choosing a cloudy day to make the most of the experience. There's also a back seat on the boats, so if you have kids with you, no worries. I was extra excited that we got the golden boat! If you're near the area, we highly recommend this experience if you want to enjoy nature and see some really cool birds. They also have a wheelchair accessible boat! : )

It was fast. It was fun and pedaling made it all more exciting! You can either cruise and let the wind take you wherever or you can pedal and go across the lake or any destination really. I went when the high was about 65° they provide seat warmers so as long as you have a jacket you'll be fine.

We were greeted by Hannah who was also our tour guide. She thoroughly explained how to properly ride the horse, gave us an agenda beforehand and made sure we were safe throughout the trail. She took some awesome photos of us too. Any question I asked, she answered. Hannah was very informative, kind and patient with us. Her passion for horses illuminated the tour. So glad she was our leader! The horses, May, Marigold and Willow - wonderful. They were professional and well taken care of. The horses on the ranch are super healthy and didn't give anyone problems.
