I was in town for a festival that was happening last weekend and hotel happened to be right next to Lake Eola and what a gem! The lake was absolutely beautiful with a fountain in the middle and great views all around with so much wildlife, I was in absolute awe and this was the cherry on top! The rentals went for $15 for 30 minutes, ample enough time to do one lap around the fountain, and it's good for up to FIVE people on the boat. So a pretty good experience and nice if you have a full boat. You pay online through a QR code and they put you on a boat right away. Props to whoever is in the front row steering and pedaling because it will be leg day for them! Highly recommend to bring a fan to fan them for all their hard work especially on warm, hotter days. Decided to do this after a morning walk with my bf and our friend and it enhanced our experience! Would love to do it again

Such a great experience we were greeted very fast by the attendant. Regular price is $15 for 30 mins we got a Groupon for $9, so definitely recommend getting your ticket on Groupon! The peddling is fun but can be exhausting if u got to fast, I recommend enjoy the views of the city and peddling at a slow to medium pace. The boats they have fit up to five people which I thought was really cool, I would def items do it again !

Beautiful day to ride a swan!

My wife planned a fun day out in Orlando that included a Swan Boat rental at Lake Eola. She purchased our ticket for $8 through Groupon (what a deal!). The wait to get on the ride was only 45-minutes, which flew by during our walk around Lake Eola. FYI, the staff is utilizing appropriate PPE and sanitation standards where required. The Swan Boats are pedal-powered, so be prepared to put in some work! It is quite an effort to cruise around the lake, especially on windy days where the current overtakes your physical exertion. Regardless, the interaction with the beautiful swans, glamorous view of Lake Eola, and close-up-look of the fountain, make all the work worthwhile. I can see how the Swan Boat Ride can be viewed as a beautiful romantic journey around Lake Eola with a loved one. Yet, I can also see how a blazing hot Florida day, big belly, or blown out knee can put a damper on the experience. At the end of the day, all that matters is that the Swan Boat Ride made my wife happy, so yes, I would do this again and recommend the Swan Boat ride to friends and fellow Yelpers! Things to know about Swan Boat Ride at Lake Eola: Open from 11 am until 6 pm daily. Available first-come-first-served. Rented at 30-minute intervals. Fits up to 5 riders. Pet and service animal friendly. Cost $15 per ride.

This was a great activity to do in Orlando! It's cheap and doesn't have too much of a time commitment, but what a fun and interesting thing to do! There are real swans in the lake as well which adds to the experience. For $15 you can bring 4 friends or a family of 4 for this fun activity. They also had a Groupon which made it even cheaper. Great for all ages! Chris was also funny and made our time even more enjoyable.

This was a really fun outing! I'd like to give a big shoutout to the sweet employee that helped me steady myself while getting in and out of the boat (I have bad knees). Very peaceful on the lake, and fun cruising around it! The swans hold 4 or 5 people, so a family could ride together. Some even had sun shades. Give this a whirl for an Instagrammable experience or just plain fun!

Got a groupon which made it nice and cheap, especially since a boat can fit at least 4 people. I didn't realize how the wait worked so when we got there we had to put our names down and come back 45 minutes later, which sadly wasn't long enough to actually do anything like go to a restaurant so we just walked around the lake a bit more. A nice activity if the weather is nice outside.

Plenty of swans on Lake Eola both real and boats. The swan boat rentals are very popular so best to go during the week

Really fun thing to do while in downtown Orlando. Really unique experience and you feel like you're in the center of the city taking it all in. A relief from theme park overload. Since there's only a few boats and a huge lake you don't feel crowded while on the water

I honestly think alot of people are not being too honest when reviewing this ride. But hey, I'll start with a Pro: My daughters loved it. And it's a great picture prop opportunity. Here's my truth: I've used this service twice. Both times after getting back to the dock I've said "I'm never doing this again". #1 Paddling is challenging. You can feel the age on these boats. It feels like a cycling up a steep hill for 30 minutes. YOU WILL LIKELY BREAK A SWEAT. #2 These boats need major upgrades and/or replacements. You would think that such a nice area would have the best equipment and offer the best service. Think again. (Mind you the ladies there were polite). They need paddle boats that are easier to paddle, much cleaner, can move faster, some sort of fanning to keep the riders cool and fresh, a timer etc) This is not a service, it's a challenge! #3 The lake needs cleaning. I know that's the city's job but it's where you'll be riding these boats. Overall I prefer leaving this ride for the first timers to try out, I'd rather go visit some of the other awesome stuff downtown has to offer. And go get an icecream at Greenery Creamery.

These swan paddle boats are beyond adorable. $15 will get you half an hour of paddling fun. Each boat holds up to five adults. If you like to save money Groupon is offering the half hour deal currently for $10.50 or two half hours for $18.00. Out on the water you can float along with the real swans of lake Eola as well as ducks and many other kinds of wading birds. The swans are so beautiful and it's such a wonderful experience to share the lake with them. The swan boats are one of a kind iconic Orlando experience. If you are tired of the theme parks and looking for a cheaper and different kind of fun in the heart of Orlando then came to Lake Eola. The residents are waiting to say hello.

A true Orlando classic. Quintessential downtown. This Is Lake Eola and it's an absolute must for any resident or visitor in this amazing city to immerse yourself in what is the most iconic spot (aside from the big mouse) in the city of Orlando. We actually scored a groupon that was only $7 or $8 for a 30 minute swan boat that accommodates up to 5 people and 1400 lbs....not a problem in most cases, but just for the record, now you know. We decided to take the kids down on a sunny summer day, so our plan was to get there at opening at 10am. We arrived and only waited a couple minutes for one of the two nice young ladies prepping the boats came over, toon our voucher, hooked up the kids with life jackets and off we went. Ok, let me just interject one thing in case you've never piloted a paddle boat. The harder you peddle, the SLOWER you go. Basically you're spinning the paddles so fast that they can't effectively get a "grip" on the water. What's my point?? Enjoy the ride. Take it nice and steady pace. If you do this, pretty much ensures you can make it a full loop around the lake and be back in 30 minutes. Today the fountain was turned off, but that allowed us to get super close and get a good look at it while being cleaned. We really enjoyed this good old fashion family fun. Last time I did this was nearly 20 years ago with my now wife on a romantic cruise around the lake. It's not fancy, expensive, trendy or swanky...but it is truly representative of our amazing city of Orlando. There's no doubt that if you're heading to Lake Eola, then why not take the swans out?? You won't be disappointed. TIP::::::::Mornings aren't super busy, so go early and beat the heat. Also, WEAR A HAT!! It's pretty bright and hot; I really wished I had something covering my bald dome. Hope you enjoy this hidden gem in the heart of downtown. I know we sure do :-)

Here is what you need to know: - Time Investment: One Hour (In my opinion, the perfect amount of time) - Investment: $20 for adults, $10 for children. The true highlight was getting all the tea about the beautiful houses that line the canal and their owners. - Tips: Bring water, sunscreen, and a good hat. If you are hard of hearing, sit near the front. There is a bathroom right before you purchase the tickets and a small covered seated area if you come early. The tours are on a first come, first serve basis and leave every hour on the hour. One of the canals was closed for construction when we went but it was truly still so lovely. Our tour guide provided so much history and information! Pro-Tip: SUNSCREEN, handheld fans and water. The boats are not covered and it can get very hot. They do not allow umbrellas for cover. This tour has been around for a while and I can't believe this was my first time taking one. I absolutely had the best time. Looking forward to bringing more visitors to do something so very central Florida! It's grand!

Our party ended up being 20 of us and we were able to share a unique link for purchasing tickets so our party was all linked together as one party. When we first boarded, there really wasn't any direction as to what to do or what we could do so we just sat down at our table and waited for someone. We weren't sure if we could or should go to the bar to order drinks or if we could walk around before dinner. It took a while (10+ minutes) for anyone to approach our table.) Once someone approached our table we ordered drinks and then walked around the boat. We went to the top deck to take some photos and watch the sunset before dinner started. Once dinner started we were able to go the buffet as munch as we wished. Since it was Italian night they had all Italian dishes, none of the dishes really stood out but nothing was bad. It was good, but not like wow! While eating they started pouring our wine samples. We got two red and two white samples and a sommelier talked us through each sample. After the first two samples they gave us a break to walk around, go to the bathroom, etc. I would have preferred a shorter break in the middle of dinner and more time in the beginning so that we could spend more time on the deck while the sun set. Tickets for this event were $65 and in my opinion it was worth it. We had a great time and it was something I could check of my bucket list!

My family, friends, and I had such a great time and wish that we could have remained on the airboat much longer. This place is located at the end of a very long road. The drive to the property is very quiet and relaxing. The property itself was well-maintained, everything was clearly marked, and the venue itself was fun. There is a gift shop, a snack shop, a food trailer offering hot food, a beverage hit, clean bathrooms, gold mining, and so much more. The employees went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The real reason why you would visit this place is the airboats. Each guest boards the large boats, which can seat 12-15 people at a time. To the rear of the boat sits this huge fan, which controls the boat. Each guest is required to grab a headset or ear protection, as the boats are noisy and loud, and I mean LOUD once they get going. The purpose of the boats is to have fun, of course, but the objective is to look for alligators as you speed through the swamps. During our visit, we spotted nine alligators, and the boat operator stopped so guests could see and experience them up close. The alligators are never disturbed, and they do not seem to mind being watched. Back to the airboats, these things are FAST! The boat operator will have you going so fast on the water, then pull into a complete 360-degree turn when you least expect it. The first time the boat operator sped away from the dock at the start of the tour, you were a tad nervous, similar to riding a roller coaster. After this initial nervousness, you could not get enough of this airboat and only wanted to go fast on the water. I might add that there was a group seated in front of us with a boy between 8 and 10 years old and a young tween girl, and they appeared to enjoy the airboat ride just as much as we adults. This is definitely a fun place for all ages

We were a group of 7 people, and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We only saw one alligator swimming in the water during the entire tour. Instead of wildlife, the driver mostly showed us horses and cows from a farm across the resort, which was not what we came for. What made the experience worse was that the driver kept intentionally driving us into thick grass areas several times. He also stopped the boat in an area full of mosquitoes/gnats, and we kept getting bitten until we asked him to move immediately. Unfortunately, he repeated this more than once, which made the ride very uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was not worth the money for us. We would not return and would not recommend it.
