Being from Chicago, I thought I knew what good free range chicken tasted like, but I had no clue until I had Otto's chicken. This review is based on my experience buying Otto's Chicken at the Lansing City Market (not at the farm store). The chicken is always delicious and much cheaper than buying antibiotic free chicken at the grocery store. They have a great variety -- whole chicken, boneless thighs, boneless breasts, legs, chicken sausage, etc. I try to get to the Lansing City Market about once a month and stock up. The lady at the cash register is really nice, too. Make sure you have cash because they don't take cards. read more

The chicken from Otto's will make you never buy chicken from a grocery store again. It actually tastes like chicken should. The tumbled tenders and tumbled steaks are great for gilling. Ground chicken is the best, makes great burgers. Buy it at the Royal Oak Farmers Markets on Saturdays. I believe they are only there every other Saturday in the winter. read more
