Mangu, snow onion chicken, chicken fried rice, curry chicken and spicy garlic chicken

The food was amazing. The mangu was fried crispy and flavorful. The chicken was nice white meat chicken. Nice spice on the spicy garlic chicken, not too hot. Large portions. Not a long wait maybe15 minutes. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm.

Fire fox is a small authentic Korean restaurant that has a fairly big menu to choose from. I usually get the beef foxy Ramen and it's always delicious and hits the spot. You order and pay ahead up front and they bring you your food when it's ready and it never takes more than 10-15 mins which is awesome. If I go to Woodland Mall i'll always make sure to stop at Firefox. The only thing I don't like is that they only use disposable tableware which isn't always ideal to eat out of nor is it great for the environment but makes it really easy to take leftovers!!

While visiting Grand Rapids with my family, we stumbled upon Firefox & CM Chicken. We figured we couldn't go wrong with Korean fried chicken and thankfully, we were not disappointed. Since my mom avoids spicy foods, we wanted to be sure we didn't order anything too spicy and the lady taking our order was very helpful and assisted us with ordering foods that were mild enough for her. Since we wanted to try a few different flavors, we decided on the Garlic Soy Chicken Drums, Curry Chicken Wings, Veggie Fried Rice and Fries. The menu included something that was intriguing to us called the Snow Onion so we definitely had to try that out as well. The food was ready fairly quickly and tasted amazing. The Garlic Soy and Curry had a very minimal spice level. The chicken was fried to perfection and the flavors were phenomenal. We chose the Snow Onion with the chicken tenders and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. The sweet onions were sliced very thinly and were smothered in a lightly sweetened sauce. It was delicious!!! The Veggie Fried Rice was good but I'm sure it would've been better with chicken or shrimp. Overall, we had a great experience at Firefox & CM Chicken. There's plenty of seating for people that want to dine in but I believe most order to go. If you're in the Grand Rapids area, definitely stop in and try their Korean fried chicken. You will not be disappointed!!!

Firefox used to be my favorite restaurant when I lived in MI. The flavor is still unmatched, but my chicken was pretty dry this time, which was a big letdown because I've been thinking about this chicken for a few years. Hopefully it was just an off day.

I really enjoyed our experience at Firefox & CM Chicken. The service was excellent. Both of the people at the register were super friendly. The restaurant itself was very clean and had ample seating. The food was great. The chicken had the perfect thin and crispy coating, and the spicy garlic sauce was very good. It was pretty spicy though, so I would stick to soy garlic if you're sensitive to spice. The beef bibimbap was also very good with fresh vegetables. The mango lemonade had a great balance of mango and lemon. Overall, I would definitely come back.

Fire Tteokbokki - add Ramen -- so spicy but so good!

Food and Service are alway on point. Wings are amazing Garlic Soy flavor has a kick and some spice to it. The Fire Tekbokki is SPICY -- A popular Korean street food made of chewy rice cakes stir-fried in a spicy, sweet, and savory sauce, typically based on gochujang (red chili paste). It has vegetables and fish cakes also. It's good but so spicy! I always have to take home leftovers.

It's great to have a Korean fried chicken place in GR! There's plenty of parking, ordering takes place when you walk in, and there's not too long of a wait to get your food. You can grab water while you wait or they have other Korean beverages for purchase. The chicken is well flavored and very crispy. I wasn't a big fan of the curry cheese ramen, which you could make yourself at home, so I'd stick to chicken next time. I also got a side of seaweed salad, which came in a styrofoam cup. There are metal chairs and ample seating inside if you dine in, but I'd definitely consider this for fried chicken takeout in the future!

Famous for the Korean fried chicken, a friend's craving led us here for a Saturday lunch in November. Enjoying a more sweet glaze, I got the garlic soy tenders (boneless). The 10 piece basket was filling and delicious! My wife ordered a bowl of their ramen with a hardboiled egg. Unlike other eggs in ramen, this one's yolk was cooked through. Service was fast and there's plenty of space with tables.

Wow Wow Wow! When I want to cheat on my diet you will find me here ! Firefox makes an amazing Korean friend chicken! Their items are cooked to order so there is a wait but be patient because it's worth it! The garlic spicy chicken is my favorite. It gives the right amount of heat but it also has flavor. You're not just eating fire haha. The chicken is juicy on the inside which is very enjoyable after your initial crunch. This is good chicken! We've also tried their beef, shrimp, and kimchi fried rice. It's very good, full of flavor and veggies. This is also served very hot and fresh. It's very good, a little on the greasy side, but hey you're at a fried chicken joint. We've visited a few times but haven't gotten around the menu yet. I plan on sampling other chicken items because they have a lot of unique flavors to chose from. Please give them a try!

Excellent selection of fried chicken. Kiosks ordering available. Friendly staff and clean modern restaurant in a typical Asian style.

I ordered the honeysuckle latte over ice - it was a spring menu item that had both honey and lavender flavors together. It was refreshing and creamy, yet retained the essential coffee flavor coming through. I can't believe it took me so long to get here - but I will make sure I don't wait that long again. Nate and I met up with a group of Korean adoptees recently and had a nice time. The space was great for a larger group and we all had plenty of room to share since it wasn't busy. The menu includes several Korean dishes that you can't really find anywhere else in the area, like buldak, pan fried mackerel, pork belly stir fry, etc. It was tough to decide what to order because I LOVE Korean food! I went with the buldak (spicy chicken stir fry with cheese) and Nate got the dolsot bibimbap with spicy pork. We also had some appetizers to share - the fried dumplings and shumai. I loved the dumplings. They were super crispy and the filling was savory and tasty. The shumai were okay and cooked nicely, just not a ton of flavor for me. I was really happy with the buldak. The chicken was tender, it had plenty of melty cheese, and it wasn't super spicy. I've made this dish at home and you can definitely make it super hot! Nate and I both agreed that we liked the buldak better than the bibimbap. There is plenty of parking as Emonae is in a strip mall with some other restaurants. I will definitely be back to try more of their food!
