This is one of our favorite farm stands to visit! When I saw they had strawberries - I knew we had to go. After a quick stop at the farm stand to check in and get our bags weighed, we went down to the stop sign and started picking. Tips for the best strawberries and yes they taste as good as they smell. 1 bring several small bags - the strawberries are so ripe they will squish in big bags 2 wear a hat - you are out in the sun 3 start at the end away from the cars - that area is less picked over. 4 have fun - that is part of the process. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Musso Farms for years, but I've never experienced such rude treatment as I did today. I called earlier to ask what varieties of peppers were available this season and whether bushels were ready. The response I received was, quite shockingly, "come f---ing see for yourself." Following that, my husband made the trip to check in person, only to be met with the same level of disrespect when he simply asked when the bushels would be available for purchase. This was incredibly disappointing and not what we've come to expect from a place we've supported for so long. read more

Good service but there prices are similar to what you would get at the festival. Wanted a 1/2 bushel but got informed that I would have to buy a full bushel to get it roasted After I said I would buy it the added a roasting fee. Don't know if that is industry standard but I felt it was very inflexible and expensive I'm happy with the product but didn't really want to spend $50.00. read more

What can I say! Saved me a trip from going to the chili festival! Just wish with the higher prices on the chili's they would of added fresh garlic. Everyone was super friendly! No issues here except for the garlic add on. Will we come back? Oh yeah!!! read more

This is the choice place to get your bushels of fresh hatch chiles, either mild, hot, super hot or XX! The option to get them fresh/raw or roasted in house is nice, Sometimes you just wanna roast your own chili or two on the grill at home. Now here at Musso's when roasting they will hose the chiles every so often with sprays of water, this may just be to keep the amount of popping chili seeds down and as well dampen the slight smoking arising from the chiles, this tho has the effect of making the chiles an extra easy peel the next day. Tip is to order your chiles 1st then peruse all the veggies as the wait to get your chiles roasted can take as long as a half hour during peak Hatch season. One of my favorite things about Musso farm is the little area by the parking on the east side where they grow rare and exotic super hots. I grow around 30 pepper plants every year and I WISH Musso's sold the pepper seeds they are highlighting in this area. If your a pepper head please help get the word out to them that we'd love to buy these rare and exotic super hots locally. Thank you for all you do Musso's. read more

Great place to get fresh veggies and fruits on season. The prices and quality are really good. They sale the popular roasted Pueblo Chile, a must try. It is also a great place to visit during The Pumpkin Patch, my daughter really enjoyed the corn pit and the very long hay ride and pumpkin picking. The Pueblo chili brownies that they sale are amazing! read more

I discovered the amazing abundance of farms in Pueblo two years ago. This farm is worth the trip from Denver/Lakewood and one I look forward to every summer now. I've visited most of them and made my third journey down today. I still visit multiple farms but, by far, Musso's is the best in all ways. Selection, prices, and ease of shopping. The service is always fast and friendly and the variety of veggies (especially squash season!!) is amazing. I tell all of my friends about Musso's and share pics of my bounty to entice them even more! And can we talk about the peppers?? As you walk in from the back entrance, displays of so many varieties meet you - then, when roasting season is upon us, the roaster is in action and you can buy a bag for $5. Be sure to get a pic in the pepper cutout or on one of the displays. Oh! And today the grill was serving up fresh sausages, brats, kielbasa, pork chops and mixed grilled fresh veggies . I like that place, except for one lady giving me a dirty look, not very friendly, but that's expected here in Pueblo, Colorado.

Plan on spending a little more time than expected. The selection is vast from fresh to dried chilies inside to their outside fresh produce areas. I was there on October 21st and there were still the smell of roasted chilies in the air. Bought another bushel brought them home cleaned them, made a pot of green chili and froze the rest to have later. read more

They rip you off every chance they get. Never get anything that needs to be weighed. That's one of the prime ways they get you. I literally ended up paying $5 for 3 heads of garlic but didn't catch it because I was too busy arguing that she was giving me the wrong amount of change back. They need to be investigayed for fraudulent business practices. And you can forget a receipt. You'll never get one. I'll never go back. read more

This fresh food location is on a working farm between two houses. It gets so busy that they have another parking lot across the street. And why not? At any given time they have over 500 different items for sale. Fresh produce from this farm and other farms in the area and beyond. Coming and shopping here is kid-friendly and educational. They have a demonstration area of many varieties of chilis. This is a must visit experience. You will save money as well as get huge farm fresh produce. Well worth a drive from Denver or Colorado Springs. Be sure and check that it is open. Operations start near the summer and end in the fall. read more

Be careful here. I just got back and was charged $17.85 for 4 ears of corn, 4 $1.00 sodas and a pack of strawberries on sale. BTW, the sign says "Musso's Farm Strawberries," but they were grown and picked in California. This must be the most expensive corn in the US... I'll never return. read more

RUDE!!! They seem to be burned out on customer service. Very degrading short responses if you asked any questions on the chili's. They DO NOT do 1/2 bushels. They DO NOT do mixed bushels. They charge to run you credit card. So we gave them $115 cash and they dont give you a receipt. We do not even know if we were charged correctly. But the worst part was the $9 homemade jar of cherry peppers. It was rotten my husband took 1 bite and threw up his dinner. Do yourself a favor and skip their stand. There are 12 other stands around that area. We visited 2 of them after musso and enjoyed their hospitality and their produce. read more

Pretty good place East of Pueblo to buy farm fresh fruits and vegetables when in season. They also sell some items, like bananas, that are obviously not grown locally. They charge a $1 surcharge to pay with a credit card, which I thought was against state law in Colorado? read more

Amazing Farmer's Market. Full of delicious local food. The Pork Chili in the frozen area is perfect. Prices are just right. Gets crowded so get there early. The farm also had some samples of the salsa, chips and some of the produce to try out. Fantastic experience. read more

This is by far my favorite place to get fresh fruit and vegetables. The environment is very nice and I am always excited to be in it! Also the prices here are amazing compared to grocerie stores, and other farms close around. I really like how short the drive is from my home too, everything about this business honestly gets me pretty excited to make a trip there. read more
