She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to babies and parenting. We crammed in so much helpful information in just two days! I always had a misconception that doulas were against any sort of medication during the birthing process and always naively pictured home births in a bath tub ;) I was so wrong! Due to having twins I have to do a hospital birth which I wasn't expecting but I know it's for their safety which is more important. Almost forgot to mention she's 30 minutes away from me and I'm more than happy to drive every minute of it because she's worth it. If you have insurance they should cover midwives as well.
