Mediocre food. It was rather bland. I had a plate of mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and meatloaf. The only sit-down restaurant quality food was the corn. It was all under seasoned. However, the coffee was quite good. Furthermore, the atmosphere could be greatly improved. I heard a man shouting and cussing in the back, very unprofessional. Traveling to Land Between the Lakes for our mother's 90th birthday in Aug 2022. I needed to order a birthday cake from someone I never ordered from before. I contacted Rose at Our Daily Bread. The carrot cake she made for our mother was the BEST cake we have ever tasted! There was a large group of us so she made a 14" round cake which I imagine makes things a lot harder. The icing looked and tasted amazing. I can't say enough how Rose came through! On a side note, we also had cinnamon rolls from the bakery and lunch in the restaurant. We stopped in after spending the night due to an ice storm in the area it was just before Valentine's Day and they were making chocolate covered strawberries they were great. We stopped here for lunch and had a great experience. The food was tasty and the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. 5 of us had sandwiches (all different kinds) and every one of them was good. One of my sons had the jumbo sized pizza slice and he loved it! We are from Chicago where the pizza is amazing so for me to say it was good is saying something. Prices were good and portion sizes were large. We wanted to come back the next day to try their breakfast pastries (which were staring at me when we walked in and making me drool) but they're closed on Sundays. Definitely will make a point to do so the next time we're down there, along with making it a regular stop when we move into the area next year! read more

I was in the area and had time time to waste when I found Our Daily Bread. I have to say this was an excellent find. The hot chocolate could have been a tiny bit sweeter, but the gigantic cinnamon roll was amazing. It was soft and sweet with the perfect amount of chewy and covered in white drizzle icing. I am thrilled we found this place on Yelp. The service was great and the bacon cheddar bread was yeasty and wonderful. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and a side salad (spring mix--not iceberg lettuce). If you want a mayonaisy mess, you won't get it here. Maybe a tad dry, but it was so tasty who even cares? They also gave me a side of blue cheese dressing with it. My husband had potato soup and a roast beef sandwich. Wow. My son had a piece of pizza and that was great, too. We ordered dessert--they gave me a huge piece of carrot cake with plump golden raisins and nuts and amazing cream cheese frosting. TOTALLY worth the calories. We recently relocated to this area. I travel a great distance to work and I love being able to call in my order and pick it up at 6:30 a.m. at the drive thru window! The cinnamon dolce latte puts Starbucks to shame! Everything I have ordered from there has been fresh and gourmet. The people are dirty and they sit on the counters in the kitchen where the food is placed right after they sit down..the area smells of body odor and sweat and also the employees are rude as all get out. If there was a way to give it no stars I would. read more

While visiting family, we decided to stop in and pick up breakfast for our everyone. We tried a variety of things (biscuit and gravy, breakfast burrito, cinnamon roll, and more). Everything was delicious! The gravy was full of flavor and the cinnamon roll was huge AND amazing!! When I say it was as big as the to-go box I'm not exaggerating! I'm sad we discovered this place on our last morning in town, because I would have loved to try out some other items. The employees were friendly and chatted while we waited for our food. My spouse and I stopped in after boating all weekend. We were tired of "Marina Food" (fried fish, burgers, fries) and wanted some "quality" food for lunch. We found it here. I had the Ruben on my choice of yummy breads (Cranberry Nut) and my hub had Turkey Bacon on the same Cranberry Nut Bread. We were thrilled. We also enjoyed a huge slice of Red Velvet Cake, among the many, many fabulous desserts that they offer. They bake all the desserts and breads themselves and I only wish I had purchased a loaf of bread to bring home. The employees were so incredibly nice. I would be happy to return here and I wish I was closer than 3.5 hours away. But I WILL return. This is located at the end of a non-descript strip mall but don't be dissuaded. We couldn't stand the thought of yet another chain restaurant while traveling on interstate 24. Fortunately I found Our Daily Bread using Yelp. It's only a couple of miles off the highway. I wish I could have ordered more!!! The pecan pancakes were delicious, but when I saw other choices that friends ordered (there were 18 of us), I wanted to try everything. You choose your own toppings on French Toast or pancakes -- WOW!! The breakfast plate with lucious homemade bread (I tried some of the bread) -- a winner. Some of the guys got The Big Eddy. I want to try that, too. All the servers were so friendly and efficient. Several in our group took home the homemade Cinnamon Rolls (they were already out of the scones).
