Located a short walk from the Paoli Amtrak/SEPTA station, this was an excellent breakfast spot that made for a great "layover" as I waited for my train. There's plenty of parking space off of Lancaster Avenue, and also ample seating even during the busy weekend breakfast period when I stopped in. You seat yourself among the many tables or booths, and the staff are all attentive and welcoming. The menu has a variety of options, but there's also a rotating specials list as well. I decided to order their special breakfast to combat my indecisiveness and try a bit of everything. The eggs and sausage were especially nostalgic--the slightly grease in the meat and butter mixed with the eggs made for a delicious start to the day. Have been coming here for well over 10 years. My family affectionately calls it "The Cow." My grandmom nicknamed it. Everything is yummy here and I love the turkey special. The omelettes are great too. If you want to treat yourself the milkshakes are delicious. They recently renovated it in the past couple years. Comfort food and very nice, welcoming service too. Tom our waiter was awesome he was very pleasant, he is very knowledgeable with menu choices . Our food arrived hot, and accurate. The chef's here a top notch, the food phenomenal. Let me say first that the service here is beyond excellent. The servers could not be more helpful and friendly. Always ready with coffee refills and helpful with your order. You couldn't find better.The atmosphere is plain. A deli. Ok. The coffee is not remarkable. The food. No question that the servings are most generous and the prices good. But - I had the distinct impression that my crab Benedict had been set out quite some time earlier. The Hollandaise had the dullness of time and the crab and eggs were not at all hot. (Poached eggs can be made in advance.) Too bad - the serving could have been spectacular but it was just old and cold. The place has so much going for it. I like coming here on the weekends for a quick egg breakfast. Pancakes and waffles are okay. Take out is also pretty good. Steak sandwiches, hoagies, burgers have been a frequent occurrence for my family over the years. Good onion rings! Sometimes the fries could be more crisp we think. Again, reliably well-made, delicious, amount generous enough at a reasonable price (by today's standards). Old Bay Fries $6.17, grilled reuben (can choose corned beef or pastrami) on rye $10.99. Sandwiches customizable, can pick your cheese, add on pickles, etc., (few items an additional charge). Have both cold and hot. Fresh ingredients, Boar's head cold cuts on tasty, freshly made bread. Easy to order in advance on their website, pickup (15 minutes) or delivery. Or you can go and eat in. Recently renovated, clean inside. Friendly staff. What more could you want? Parking in small lot in front of store along route 30, ample parking in back. Definitely much more preferable then Nudy's. Been coming here for years--by myself, then with my girlfriend, turned fiancee, turned wife. Great food, breakfast is mostly better than similar items at other area diners and restaurants. Lunch and soup is solid. The space is really nice, especially since they revamped it recently. Takeout is also fast and easy. The service and staff are fantastic, they recognize us and are really nice, are always quick to help us, and really prioritize customer service, not just for us, but for every customer. Quick story: there was an absolutely horrid Karen there today with a screaming child when my wife and I went, and she was mad our waitress (who is awesome) took our order first (we were there a solid 5 minutes before her, so it didn't even make sense she was mad). She made a huge scene, demanded a different server, demanded to speak with the manager...and they did all that, with respect and courtesy. It was nice to see. Woman was way off base and out of line though, the server was not ignoring her, is always great, and this Karen was horrible, so we just wanted to let them know she did nothing wrong and handled this terrible customer well. Had a tuna sandwich today and could not eat both halves so much tuna. Service is for the most part good. Even when they are busy food is served fairly fast. I also go to Nudys and their food is equally good. It's good to have two great places in Paoli to frequent. If you have not tried Our Cafe you will agree. read more

Boycott this establishment at all cost. My family has been coming here for over 20 years. In the most recent visit, they added an extra charge for an entree. The entree was for a request to remake a dish because it came out not tasting right. Rather than address the charge when it happened, they slipped it on the next visit without saying anything. This place is a gem and probably the best deli in the Main Line. Their cheesesteaks and hoagies are consistently excellent, fresh, delicious and HUGE! They get their hoagie rolls from an awesome Conshy bakery, Their breakfast sandwiches are also awesome - they cook up the eggs on the flat-top fresh to order - no microwaved eggs here! Our Deli has great deli food. A Home town straight forward excellent spot served by nice people. My family has been attending our deli every Sunday late morning for breakfast/lunch for several Sundays in a row. My husband loves the pizza steak with extra sauce. My son raves about their milkshakes and always orders their pancakes. I have really enjoyed their delicious Reuben that I occasionally request coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. I also love their simple tuna melt on rye, I add tomatoes . My family likes their crispy french fries. Each time we arrive at our deli we have been able to sit down but the restaurant has been fully packed. (There is parking in the back.)They are able to turn over tables quickly but do not make the diners rush through their food. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about but the service and excellent diner food/deli food makes up for everything. This is one restaurant that all of my family members can be happy about and agree on. There's nothing fancy about our deli but the consistency and excellent food pays off and therefore I offer five stars for this category. Good solid breakfast. We went here to try something different. I wouldn't say that it knocked our socks off, but it was a good basic breakfast. The staff was very nice and attentive. Maybe it is because of the simplicity of our meal, but the food came out super fast! I got the corn beef hash, two eggs and hash browns. I was very happy with the corn beef hash, it isn't something you typically see on menus. My finance got Taylor's pork roll, also something you don't often see. It was a nice change from the typical bacon or sausage. The hash browns were really good, no fancy spices, but good strait up potatoes. I was fine with my eggs, but my fiance's over easy eggs were a little too runny for his liking. The egg whites weren't cooked all the way. Overall we agreed we would back when we want a strait forward breakfast, but this isn't the place for you if you want a fancy omelet. read more

My colleagues tease me about my going here, since I am vegetarian. The grinder I order is not even on their menu. I order it with all veggies on it, and boy, it turns out sooooo yummy. I've been there so many times that they have a veggie grinder named after me. A few waiters greet me by name, which gives me quite a kick. I've introduced quite a few of my colleagues to this place. I once went there during off-peak hours and had the chef sit with me and explain why the grinder was so tasty. He also gave me a few rolls!! We have contemplated this review for a while, because the staff was very friendly to us at Our Deli, but the food was just not up to the higher Yelp reviews we've seen, which is what led us to try them. We have to disagree about the high ratings on the burgers. We recently gave a high review for a milkshake at Dairy Cottage in Springfield, and in comparison, this place fell short. The price was higher, the portion smaller (per price increments), and it was pretty watered-down. Maybe it was a bad night? The florescent lighting in this place is not something uncommon, but somehow the lower ceilings (lower than the 12' or more that normally come with such lighting), and the lack of windows, made it feel eerie inside. I wish we could give a better review, especially because we live so close, but a lot put us off. I will be sure to update this if we have a better experience next time. read more

The home fires were nice and crunchy on the outside but were undercooked on the inside. Portion control is the real issue. One egg with about one third of the fries would have been a proper portion size. I had the ruben. It presented well and was properly balanced. The pickle slices were a nice accompaniment. The small bag of chips placed on the plate diminished the presentation and was not needed to be included with the order. The atmosphere was pleasant. The place was clean and the staff were polite, prompt and spoke with clear diction and a proper cadence. This is a nice place that we'll come back to when we are in the area. read more

This place is DERICIOUS! That means it is way better than delicious. Restaurant, deli and butcher. WOW! Anyway, back to breakfast. The owner greeted us. The BF grew up in the area and he got the special hello. That always makes you feel special. I was sad that I didn't see waffles on the menu since that was the only thing I wanted, but sure enough it was the special and I got my waffles cooked to a perfect golden brown and bacon on the side. Everything comes dry and you can choose your own butter or whipped butter. I loved this. Why don't all places do this? I wish I could have eaten every bite since everything was so good, but I was simply stuffed. The home fries were also unbelievable although I would call them more of a hash. I would highly suggest getting them on the side. The owner was also really sweet and asked if I wanted to take the rest of my neatly eaten food home to go. I like good customer service.
