Friend has a gluten allergy so wasn't able to eat anything because despite offering gluten free options, they could not verify that the gluten free food wouldn't touch the gluten-full food. Someone ordered take out for a few people at my office, I've never had their food before! Online the tuna salad platter looked really fresh. The picture I took is what the box looked like when it was delivered, I think putting the fruit in a separate cup or maybe the tuna would have been a nice touch. The tuna salad its self was fishy reminded me of something from a grab and go section of a grocery store. The fruit was very sour, I know strawberries are out of season. This is more of a 3.5. We had the Florentine benedict, California benedict, Philly cheesesteak, and the strawberry cheesecake french toast. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that the Cali benedict does not come with meat so I would not get that again. The florentine benedict and philly cheesesteak were good. Home fries and fries were fine. Kids enjoyed the french toast - it really is more of a dessert! Service was quick. We were seated without a wait when we went on a Friday afternoon. I did not have a nightmare experience but also don't have many nice things to say. I was told by a friend that this was one of the better locations of Nudy's, so I will really hesitate about returning here or trying another location. First thing I'll mention is there is no where near enough parking. I really struggled to find the one open spot available after driving around the lot twice and then was shocked that there was no wait time. Then, despite it being not a busy time (there were several empty tables by the time my party was being served), the wait staff was very inattentive. After initially ordering a hot coffee and ice water, neither were refilled or offer to be refilled at all during our time eating. The ambiance was okay, though tables seemed to be crammed side by side without much order to the layout. Additionally, I was very disappointed by the food. It's hard to disappoint me with an omelette, but it was laughable the small amount of cheese that was used. I also found the hashbrowns to be burnt practically to a crisp. Somehow they were also bland tasting as well. Overall, the portion sizes were outrageously small, especially in relation to the prices. I left feeling hungry and thirsty despite ordering what normally would have greatly satiated me anywhere else. There are many better options in the area for breakfast/lunch. read more

I ordered an omelet. One of the pieces of toast was so mangled, I couldn't butter it. When I picked it up it was in shreds. I asked at time of order for the toast to be warm enough to melt the butter. It wasn't. One friend ordered oatmeal--which looked delicious! However, it didn't come with milk, so my friend poured the little packets of fake creamer on it. The server didn't notice. My friend wouldn't speak up--thinking it was her fault she didn't ask for milk when she ordered... My other friend ordered two poached eggs and firmly toasted toast. The toast was barely toasted and the poached eggs were completely cold. She did mention this to our server who said we would have to take it up with the manager and she turned and left. (My friend said she only needed one more egg.) Without discussion, the manager appeared very quickly carrying one poached egg. Too quickly for it to have been made in response to the complaint. My friend did say one, but only because she had eaten part of one egg in an attempt to think the cold lump of egg didn't matter. If it had been my restaurant I would have brought out a complete new order AND comped her breakfast. The server? Barely OK. She did the minimum, but indicated by her behavior that she only worked there. She never came back to offer us more water or to check about the order. We had to flag her down. Next time our group of three who met in our neighborhood in second grade will be breakfasting elsewhere. I don't think this staff, from the cook to the manager cared about the food or the guests enough for us to return. P.S. In the airbreak there is a Julia Child quote on the wall. I ate breakfast here with my son's family yesterday, as it was near their hotel. The place was larger inside than I expected, with a couple rooms of seating. The outside seating area looked inviting, but it was too chilly for them to offer that option. I started by sharing avocado toast with my daughter in law, and it was very good. Then I couldn't resist the carrot cake French toast, but I ended up bringing 2/3 of it home as the two dishes were too much food. My granddaughter enjoyed the pancake, but she seemed more interested in the fruit that came on various plates. I liked the bite of a crepe that my DIL ordered, which reminded me of cheese blintzes. My son had bacon and eggs and something else that I don't remember. I forgot to ask if the bacon was crispy, which I prefer, as there wasn't a lot to share. The service was very good, and I expect we might eat there again if the family chooses the same hotel on a future trip. read more

Based on a DoorDash delivery order: I ordered an omelet that came with hash browns and biscuits. The omelet was rubbery, biscuits were dry, and the potatoes were bland. I would've loved if they provided salt and pepper so I can season my food, which I assume was their intent due to lack there of. I also ordered a hot chocolate which was watered down. For a place that's supposedly known for its breakfast, it was very underwhelming. Maybe next time I am in King of Prussia I'll choose a different breakfast place to try. read more

We tried this place multiple times. The coffee tastes watered down and lacks any flavor. It's like Le croix of coffee. We had cinnamon apple pancakes with no cinnamon and the apple tasted stale. How do you even mess that up? Service is average, we had staff get our drinks and kept us waiting while they take orders from folks who sat down after us. Hostess staff were rude, multiple times we were given attitude for outdoor seating, or for seating questions. Ambiance is decent as long as you don't look at the ceiling tiles and potential fire hazards. Not the worst by far but it will take a miracle for this place to be great. read more

Our food was well prepared as usual, but unfortunately it was served ice cold. Our waitress Glenda offered to fix it? How, to reheat it in a microwave?? Even a worse option for eggs. We have been going to this location since it opened and it has been consistently great, I think that Glenda was the X factor. Waitresses/Waiters work hard, but some can't handle the fast pace. Had a fabulous, socially distanced, outdoor brunch at this new Nudy's location!! We were seated right away when were arrived around 8:30am on a Thursday. We sat outside on the deck where there was only one other table. The rest of the outdoor tables (about 20) were safely spaced as per government guidelines regarding the virus. They are currently not giving out menus. They ask you to review the menus on their website. Great way to decrease the spread of germs! Service was wonderful. Our waitress wore a mask the whole time. There is a beautiful waterfall outside by the tables. If the sound of this small waterfall doesn't drown out the conversations of patrons next to you, the sounds of nearby 202 sure will! Personally, I didn't mind this noise as it assured your conversations weren't overheard by people next to you. I ordered the Western Omelette and a side of Scrapple. I know I can always count on Nudy's for a delicious omelette and this one did not disappoint. Excited this location of Nudy's has iced coffee. The service is not customer-centric. For dietary reasons, I take heavy cream with my coffee, not half and half and not milk. The waitress refused to ask the kitchen. I had even offered to buy the carton of the concern was opening a new one. When I ordered my egg white omelet, I asked if grilled salmon instead of high-sodium smoked salmon was an option. After several trips to the kitchen and "I don't know," a quote of $6 comes back. I asked if there was a dish they were basing the cost on, so I could try and be flexible with my order, the answer was "no." After taking a deep breath, having finally ordering a breakfast, the waitress comes back and raises the price to $10 extra. Then she says it's based off the salad price. Then my dish comes out and I have to wait 10 minutes for my salmon while my eggs get cold. To add insult to injury, my wifes smoked salmon Benedict came out cooked, which may have been forgiveable if it wasn't bone dry. Outstanding service and great food! Part of my family and me were looking for somewhere to have breakfast this morning. We found this place on Yelp, so decided to try it. My father and me had the chipped beef and gravy over biscuits and it came with a side of hash browns. The biscuits were fluffy and full of flavor. The chipped beef gravy was great and reminded me of my mom's. My son had the Cajun Chicken Pita, which came with a side of potato chips. He said it was great. Nice brunch spot. We sat outside because it was still warm out - cool outdoor seating but it is incredibly far away from the restaurant so needed to be very patient - would sit inside if we went back. They are clearly very understaffed and their current staff all seemed not in the mood or friendly. The food was good. The cinnamon roll pancakes were big and fluffy but they didn't have much cinnamon flavor like you would expect. The raspberry melba French toast was the star it was absolutely delicious and not too sweet. The fresh fruit was also great. The bacon was cold but well cooked. It took a long time to get our food and even longer to get our sides. The cold brew coffee was clearly just coffee they poured ice into, it was all water and I ended up asking for regular coffee instead. Our drinks never got refilled because the servers rarely came around. Good potential for a fun brunch spot if the service was better. read more

I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant at all. I was inspired to come here by the reviews and the pictures, but I will never come here again after my visit today. My visit to Nudy's Cafe started with a packed parking lot, so it shows that they are busy and clearly doing something right if people are parking in Wells Fargo just to go eat there on a Sunday afternoon. After parking at Wells Fargo, we made our way to Nudy's placing ourselves as a party of 4 on the waitlist. The blonde hostess informed us the wait would be 10 minutes. We said that was great, and she placed us the on list. Time slowly passed. Parties of 2 and 3 were called. More time passed and more parties of 2 and 3 were called. Eventually 25 minutes or so later, we ask the hostess if we were still on the list since it seemed like a party of 5 that came after us was called before we did, and then especially the discrepancy in time. A couple minutes later they called us. We go ahead and get seated on the side closer to the Barnes and Noble. We begin reviewing the menu. In the meantime, the server passed our table said he would be back in a few, but one of my friends ordered a piece of toast since her blood sugar was running low. We all continued to review the menu. In the meantime, we see the server helping other tables around us. As more time passed, I'm not going to lie, I began to get impatient and so did my friend who really needed that piece of toast. We continued to wait. Eventually one of my friends chimes up and asks the hostess who was passing by if they knew the status of the toast since one of my friends was getting the shakes at this point. The hostess after a couple minutes came out with the toast thankfully but also passive aggressively tells her she should do a better job watching her blood sugar and take meds for that... Not really her place to judge or voice that aggressively... My friend snacks on the toast, and the rest of us continued to wait. 15+ minutes of sitting, the server had not greeted us officially besides saying he would be back in passing, and he never took a drinks or meal order. After seeing the server help other tables even more and still not even interact with us after the fact, I decided to get up. I ran into the hostess and asked her if anyone plans on taking our order since we were sitting there for quite a while waiting for even just drinks. She instead responds aggressively that the place is busy and can't I tell? I was just trying to make sure we got some service and not really sure how I ended up being the bad guy... Regardless, the hostess instead decides to come take our order. She aggressively asks what do we want, and then mentioned that she has already done us a favor by getting my friend the toast she asked the server for... toast... Based off her condescending tone and just the sheer wait to get any service, we decided it was best to leave. She wasn't exactly thrilled as she said she was already here to take our order, almost as if we were the ones who wasted her time. Regardless, the hostess left in a huff and we left back to our car at Wells Fargo. I without a doubt in mind do not recommend this place. The service is horrible and this is the first place I have walked out on. While I do understand places can get busy, but that onus shouldn't be on the customer but for the establishment to maintain limits that their staff can handle. If you are seating customers but then not taking orders or interacting with them really, it is really just the same as waiting for being seated but instead waiting for sheer interaction... read more

This Covid is really starting to get to me. I want to support any and all businesses during this difficult time, but they have to do their part too. So before I get into my review, let me make a few confessions. I like to think of myself as a romantic, and I think I am but I'm a little shallow sometimes too. I've been watching a Netflix series call the "Imposters ", and one of the lead characters, Maddy Johnson, comes from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. I see "Nudy's and think, hmm maybe Maddy is having lunch here. Well she wasn't, so now my review. Nudy's is in a shopping center as a stand alone with plenty of parking. I walk in and am greeted by a very nice hostess and I'm seated right away. All Covid protocols are in place so I'm pretty comfortable. I order their Tuscan Burger which is a half pound burger with Swiss cheese and a side of fries. I ask for medium burger but it comes out well done and very dry. So dry it's crumbling and falling apart. The fries. Well most burger joints have hand cut fries nowadays but here they're those frozen fries from a bag. A bid disappointment for me. Maybe if Maddy Johnson had been there it would have been better. No no I'm confusing personal with business. Sorry this is not a restaurant that I can recommend. Once again, I know this Covid is getting us all down and I know that restaurants are really feeling the pinch, but if a restaurant wants to survive this pandemic they will have to be better. So the outdoor dining set up is great, but it was a bit cool this morning so I chose to sit inside. All the staff were wearing masks, and there was no one sitting on the counter side so I grabbed a table over there. My waitress was very good. The food OK, but fresh and fast. Coffee - delicious. Then this guy - in the age group that is least known to get vaccinated according to every national survey known to man - walks over, stands opposite my table, pulls his mask down to a chin strip, takes out his phone, and starts texting. Then he wipes his eyes, his nose, his lips, pulls up his mask and without sanitizing his hands, walks over to his table and interacts with their meal. C'mon. You're either serious about having your staff mask or you're not. Most of the clientele there were in high age brackets. So irresponsible. And none of his colleagues said a thing to him. Nudy's.............well if you live on the main line and haven't heard of Nudy's then you live under a rock. In my opinion. They are popping up everywhere and that's a good thing. The service is usually very good, but attention needs to be paid to detail. When you ask for a medium hamburger and get it well done it's no fun to have to wait for another one to be made while your dinner partner is already finished with their meal. When you ask for onion rings to be put on a side plate and it comes on your partner tuna plate (and you are deathly allergic to fish) you could just shake your head and curse. I used to enjoy this Nudy's but no longer. My sister and I ate breakfast there yesterday. Everything my sister and I ordered was cold - poached eggs, fried eggs, bacon. The GF pancake came with powdered sugar which we specifically requested NOT be added. My sister never got honey that she asked for. I returned everything. My sister returned the pancakes. Everything was still cold on the 2nd try. Third try on bacon I know the cook took cold bacon and threw it in a skillet to heat up because it tasted nothing like bacon done correctly. The best (or worst) part is on our way out we talked to the person at the register telling him everything was cold. He said "a lot of people say that"!!! I was born and raised in Wayne, Pa and Nudys has always been around. In recent years, they've opened several other locations along the Main Line. To me, Nudy's is determined to be mediocre at best regardless of the location. Quality is hit or miss - sometimes the lox platter comes with plenty of fresh lox and sometimes not. Sometimes the eggs are cooked perfectly and other times you're left with raw egg running around the take out container. You can't add any notes to take out orders either, and if you call the restaurant and let them know of a special request after you've placed an online order, they say they will accommodate but then don't/forget. Ex: the lox platter comes with two tiny containers of Philly cream cheese. For the love of god can a person get a third tiny scoop of cream cheese?? Todays take out from the Swedesford road location was another disappointment. The side of avocado I ordered for an extra $2.50 looks gross and they cut the Kaiser roll into quarters... who does that without a special request? Now I can't eat this like a sandwich as I had planned. Next time, I'll force my lazy self to travel a little farther for better food. read more
