If you're not lucky enough to snag a couch or a comfy chair, there are also half a dozen bar height tables, and 10 cushy seats at the bar. The drinks are really creative, as are the "glasses." The Tubby Taft gives a whole new meaning to the term "bathtub" gin. They don't have any food options but you can order/bring in food from either Nara Ramen or The Firepit both located above Oscar's. I noticed that their clientele included young people, middle aged people, and retirees. They have a traditional bar, high tables, low tables and comfy couches outside. They also have an upstairs area that they can open on weekends, but it wasn't busy enough on a Monday night to be open. Which brings me to one big advantage Shakers has: while lots of bars and restaurants have a dark night, they are open every day. Service was very friendly, and their menu specializes in martinis, they have several cocktail options available, as well as a full page of wine options. They don't have food, but you can bring in anything from the outside, and The Fire Pit is right next door if you like Bar-B-Que. The cocktails we had were well made, and delivered with a smile.
