Our Wedding Movie was the perfect choice for our wedding. We knew we wanted a videographer, but didn't want to spend $2k+. We were already on a tight budget and had limited resources for an extra vendor. I stumbled upon OWM, saw they were reasonably priced and had add-on's to accommodate all our needs. We chose the silver package and added the highlight reel, an additional hour, and 2 physical discs. The cost of all these items together was a fraction of what other companies were charging. The owner Guy was easy to communicate with - I did have to follow up on a few emails during the time we signed our contract to the days before our wedding, but I didn't mind because I prefer to be on top of things and had to do the same with other vendors. Guy also helped us out when our photographer failed to capture images for us. It meant a lot to me and my husband that Guy graciously offered his help and eased our after wedding stress. Christian was our videographer for our wedding day and was so great to work with! He arrived early, was attentive and captured so many beautiful moments of our day. He was very kind and professional. He stayed until our contracted end time and made sure to find me on the dance floor to let me know he was taking off rather than just disappearing. It was great to work with him! We were originally going to forego the videographer, assuming pictures and friend's videos would be sufficient, but instead called "Our Wedding Movie" as a last minute add on. I'm glad we did because I really wanted and received a basic copy of the ceremony and special moments throughout the night. While our videographer was pleasant and captured the main parts of the evening, Guy, the owner, made the whole process difficult and uneasy. The only time I received a quick, immediate response was when I input the initial inquiry and made the deposit. After that, he was nowhere to be found. I even had to HOUND HIM to make my final payment so I wouldn't default on the contract and lose my deposit. Just radio silence. No confirmation unless I asked for it multiple times. I'm not sure if it's because we did not get a platinum package, if he's just extremely busy and unorganized, or if it's because he's just apathetic, but I would not recommend this company based on the customer service alone. read more

My wife and I got married September 28, and had the videographer booked way ahead of time. Initially, everything was fine. We got our quote quickly and it was a great price. Between signing the contract and the wedding day, it was rather difficult to get a response from them. Around 8 weeks after our wedding, I mailed Guy to check on the progress of our wedding video. The response I received seemed like I was an inconvenience to him, and simply stated that my contract says 90 days - I understand that, however I don't feel that asking for a progress update is too much to ask. On the night of our wedding, our videographer (Tobias I believe) attempted to leave 45 minutes early. He came to us and asked if there's anything else we needed before he left, despite this being significantly before he was supposed to leave, with the bouquet toss having not even been done yet. I was forced to grab my iPhone and search through my emails to prove to him that I had scheduled him to be there until 10pm. I find this disgraceful that something so simple was not communicated effectively by the company, resulting in unnecessary stress on my wedding day. We have just received our finished video. Firstly, I must admit it meets what you would expect. The visual quality isn't fantastic, quite pixely at some points, and sound quality is awful (can't hear either of our vows). I understand this is partly due to the church restricting the videographers positioning, and the fact that the company charge such a small fee. Overall, if you want a high quality video memory of your day, go find another videographer. If you simply want a video to send to family and friends that couldn't make it and are on a budget, this is a decent option. Quite simply you get what you pay for quality wise. I would only recommend using this company if your budget is very limited. If I could go back, I would spend the extra $ for a better quality video and better service read more

Unbeatable prices but the microphones during the ceremony they used for video cut out even though they were tested before the ceremony started.... my husband made his vows off the top of his head so you can see how this can be upsetting. However they did compensate me in the end as it states they would in the contract if there were any technical issues on their end. Per contract you will receive your video in 90 days... they waited all the way until almost 8pm on day 90 to send me the link to download my video.... I cannot speak more highly about Our Wedding Movie. On our wedding day, unfortunately, our hired photographer did not show up, or her assistant photographer. As you can imagine, our day of joy quickly turned to anger and disappointment. However, Our Wedding Movie more than made up for the lack of a photographer. We were worried that priceless moments wouldn't be captured because of no photographer, but Vick, our videographer from Our Wedding Movie, more than stepped up. Our replacement photographer would not be able to make it until after the ceremony, but Vick took charge and led the way and helped organize everything for our wedding guests who volunteered to take photos. We ordered the package that included two Blu-rays. I could not be more blown away by the packaging, the presentation, and the overall quality of the Blu-rays. I have seen other friends' wedding videos, and they do not even compare to ours in those areas. I have shown this video to a few friends, and they were blown away by it. Vick, as well as Our Wedding Movie, did an absolutely tremendous job capturing our special day, and they really saved the day when we needed them. This company was referred to me by "the Knot". Well their judgment is not so good. First of all my contract stated that I had a Photographer/Videographer. The day of my wedding I asked the "Videographer" why he was only taking video and not any pictures. He proceeds to tell me he is only contracted to do video. I said absolutely not, who wants only a video I want pictures of my weddings well. The gentleman sees I'm furious so he then calls the owner and mind you it was the day of my wedding so what was I to do continue to argue and get no where and have no video or anything at all? Now it's almost 4 weeks later and I haven't received a response as to where my video is. I've called and left voicemails and emails and nothing! Very unprofessional. If I could rate 0/5 if I would. This company has been very unprofessional and has been dishonest. Our wedding occurred the week that COVID went live (March 21,2020)what originally intended to be a ceremony and reception of 200+ guests, turned into an intimate ceremony of 10 at our home. Due to the quick and unexpected occurrence we requested a refund for the services that we never rendered. Guy (the videographer/owner) agreed to such and stated that deposit was non refundable but would return remaining balance. After a year we received not even half of the refund and was told that we would receive the remainder within 3 months. I chose to be very reasonable due to the toil of the pandemic and the hardship most businesses occurred. As of this year it's been 2 years and I've yet to receive a refund. I've left messages and messages, emails and emails, just to be ignored. I'm now pursuing legal action for a due that is owed to me. We used Our Wedding Movie for our April 30th wedding. Admittedly we were late to the game in hiring a videographer (as in 3 weeks before the wedding!). When we contacted the company, Guy got back to us right away and said there was availability. After reviewing the website and other reviews we read we hired them. Vic was our videographer and he arrived at the venue about 2 hours before the ceremony. He went right to work scoping out the venue and setting up the stationary camera for the ceremony. He was able to capture some moments with the groomsmen before the ceremony and also myself and my bridesmaids while we were having some photos taken. After that, I can honestly say that I really did not see him, in a GOOD way. Meaning, he was so inconspicuous that we did not even notice he was there. We received our video this past weekend and we loved it! The final product was a beautiful video that captured all of the moments that I missed and then some. The video is about an hour and a half long and I watched it twice that night! My husband pulled off what I will call a "music debacle" by having the DJ cut the music just before I was to walk down the aisle and then had the members of a string quartet in the audience come up to play my processional song. Vic captured all of this but we neglected to communicate to Guy that this was part of the plan so it was omitted from our video. However, when we contacted Guy about it, he got back to us within just a couple of days, said he found the footage and the editor that it was a mishap. He is adding the footage to the video and sending us 2 new Blu-ray discs. Now that's service! I would highly recommend Our Wedding Video, and especially Vic, to anyone. Our Wedding Movie was fantastic. We weren't sure we were going to go with a videographer but my husband's brother and sister in law said it was the best decision that they made. When meeting with our photographer he suggested Our Wedding Movie to us and after checking out their samples we were convinced this was something we should do.Their package prices are very reasonable and they allow for flexibility and lots of add ons if you choose to do so. Our videographer was "T" and he was amazing to work with! He was so much fun and smiling the whole time. The person on location the day of our wedding was Christian and he was very friendly and easy to work with. The prices are very reasonable. The only reason I gave a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because communication via email was not the greatest. Slow response time until the week before the wedding when we had a form to fill out for the videographer assistant to know where to go for the day and for the videographer, Guy, to know what music we wanted as background music. Phone calls are the best form of communication that I found. The DVD we received as the final product looked like a movie starring me and my husband. This place only gets two stars - one for the employees being nice and one for the video being decent. That being said, the lack of communication is AWFUL so zero stars for that. Our wedding was in July 2014. Guy was so pleasant/sincere over the phone so I didn't bother meeting him in person, and the pricing was great (I paid $1915 for their platinum package in advance). Our wedding weekend flew by with Friday night and entire Saturday all filmed by Guy, Vincent and their staff. They were so professional/nice and on time to all our events. In Dec 2014, we met with Guy to provide him some music. I asked him when we could expect to see a rough first draft and he said about 2 weeks. After me leaving lots of phone messages and emails with NO response whatsoever, I complained to Better Business Bureau mid-April 2015. In May 2015, we finally get a first draft in the mail. This is 11 months after my wedding and 5 months after meeting Guy. I sent an email right away with all the changes that I wanted to make for the final copy. Julia from this company responded by saying they would get back to me shortly. As you can guess, I sent umpteen more emails and left phone messages with NO response again. Finally, my last email to them was in March 2016 where I wrote about how this experience was so traumatizing to be begging for my videos that I paid for in full before our wedding weekend. In April 2016, (without any emails from them still), I finally get a package in the mail with all the DVDs!!! I was shocked but grateful to receive this! Also, I noticed that my Vimeo highlights from the wedding were posted Aug 2015 so they were working on my wedding videos but couldn't bother to keep me in the loop or provide any updates. He will tell you everything you want to hear when initially signing up. He'll tell you that he'll provide the draft and everything within 90 days. Keep in mind, he tells you this verbally, but does not put it on paper. I didn't see all the past reviews till I started having issues with this merchant. He does NOT answer phone calls or respond to emails. I had to file a chargeback in order to get his attention then he rushed the whole thing and sent it to me without even calling me or emailing me. This is your wedding, work with a reputable company and do deep research. You'll see that others have had these same issues when looking at the reviews on Yelp, BBB, Wedding Wire, and Google. After 4 months, we had not received the video nor had we heard from Guy. My husband and I both called, left voice mails, and emailed over the course of about 2 weeks and received absolutely no response. I began to worry that we may never get to see our wedding footage and that we had paid a vendor that would not deliver. I then called Guy from my work phone line instead of my personal cell phone and surprisingly he answered the call. I had to threaten legal action to get a draft of the video. A week after we reviewed the draft, my husband contacted Guy and requested a minor change. Guy told my husband we'd receive the final product in a week. Fast forward to February 2016 and we still had no finished product. My husband had to contact Guy once again and we FINALLY received the final video roughly 8 months after our wedding. I understand that sometimes these things can take longer than expected, but we should have been notified and I shouldn't have had to go out of my way to get a product that we paid for in full. read more

I drove a hour to meet with this videographer hoping I wasn't wasting gas. Videography was not in the original budget. This was last minute decision. Our budget was already bursting at the seams. I didn't have a lot to spend on videography. In dealing with wedding vendors, I realized many are snobby, unprepared, or annoying to work with. I was pleasantly surprised in my consultation! It was definitely worth the drive. The company has a nice facility. He showed me and walked me through all of the equipment. He had all the options and samples right there at his desk. He was very clear and very pleasant in his explanations. He was patient and very thorough answering any questions I had. I felt very confidant with him immediately. Once I saw all of his work, I became excited! His work is amazingly professional and the DVD setup is very clean and perfect. I was shocked how affordable he is. Believe me he is worth a whole lot more than his prices. He is the ONLY vendor I booked on the spot. He had the best consultation of any other vendors I had met with. (venues, photographers, caterers, etc). So, the process leading up to and including the wedding was fine. The videographer was very professional and seemed to do a good job. I was told through email that our video would be ready by the end of September. It's now the end of October, and we haven't gotten it. I've sent 2 emails and haven't received a response to either. It's interesting how when I was booking them and sending money, I got responses right away, but now that they have our money and product, nothing. If they were behind, I'd understand and a simple email response informing us of that would have been fine...but to just not respond? Very unprofessional.
