She…read morewas very prompt in responding, her price was very reasonable, and she made herself available to take our photos during the Thanksgiving holiday. When my dress didn't come in time, she was totally accommodating with her schedule to wait for the dress so we could take the pictures. Nina had driven all around the suburbs before our meet up to scope out some beautiful scenery for us - not easy to do in the grey Chicago winter! The day of, it was freezing outside but she had a vision and worked with us to spend minimal time outside but capture absolutely stunning images! She has such a phenomenal eye for color and light and setting up a photo dimensionally in the space! Nina turned our photos around within about a week and they were so so beautiful, that we knew we'd be hiring her to do our newborn photos too after baby came! Baby came, we called Nina, and again she was so accommodating with scheduling and came over to our home. Baby was super fussy that day and our dog peed on the blanket Nina brought (so embarrassing!) but Nina was so patient and gracious and made us feel very comfortable in what was a pretty stressful experience for new parents with a grumpy baby! Again, she returned our photos within about 2 weeks and had somehow captured over 100 images of my son in between his tears! I had been so worried that baby wouldn't have given us anything to work with but Nina is magic and caught him in his tiny little calm moments! We were counting down the days to our wedding, because we couldn't wait to work with her again after seeing how well she captured us. Christy & James were both present at our wedding and photographed the day so beautifully. They showed up early and worked so hard throughout the whole day and night (even with sick kiddos at home). They went above and beyond not only photographing every detail to perfection, but getting to know our family members and bridal party. They did not miss a beat and are the perfect team. They are also so fun and funny (both individually and together), with very low-stress energy that kept us laughing all day. There were times you didn't even know a photographer was there, because they were never in the way but still found a way to capture everything. They shared sneak peaks just days after the wedding, and when we received our full album shortly after, we were so blown away by not only the quality, but the amount of photos we received!! Choosing photos for our album will be impossible, because all of them are perfect. I get chills every time I go through them, and I can't begin to count the amount of compliments we've received. I have always really had an appreciation for great photography and photographers and I can not tell you how long I have researched during wedding planning to find my favorite photographer in Chicago! No one matched her quality for her price, in my opinion, and her artistic eye combined with the gorgeous and striking way she makes black and white photos look and color photos so beautifully vivid made me sure she was the right choice for us! We've received so many compliments on our wedding photos. People have been saying, "You have the BEST wedding photos!!" and so on, and each photo she gave us really is a beautiful work of art.
