Horrible customer service quoted $150 for a basic unit and when it got delivered they charged me $271 with a $75 late fee that was never mentioned I called them and gave them the opportunity to make this right and they were extremely rude to me. Do not trust this company. read more

Outback Portable Toilets provided us with a construction port-a-potty that was all beat up and had no lock on it. We did not notice until a guest during our summer party told us. When we called to complain the next day they refused to give any credit or refund. Also we initially were going to have the party a few weeks before but because of a rain forecast we had to cancel, we called to cancel the port-a-potty 2 days before but that was not good enough for this company, they still charged the credit card and refuse to refund that as well. So we were charged for one that we never used!!! read more

Ordered the VIP porta-potty for a backyard party. Prompt delivery, the driver placed the unit exactly where we requested, and the unit was spotless and stocked upon arrival. Overall, I would definitely recommend Outback and will be using them in the future when needed! read more

Worst service I've ever seen.. my fiance booked a portable toilet trailer for a backyard party 7 MONTHS AWAY.. within 1 week of booking, a serious potentially fatal illness was diagnosed in a family member and the party needed to be cancelled.. 7 MONTH away and 1 week after booking. I spoke with a woman who was very sweet and understanding and she explained that since it was extenuating circumstances and it was only just booked for 7 months out, that a refund of the deposit shouldn't be a problem. She just asked that I email them to officially cancel it. Which I did immediately. A week later I had no response so I called. I was told someone would review my email and get back to me. An hour later I received an email back from a woman named Michelle " I am So sorry about the circumstances that you are going through. Unfortunately the Deposit is Non- Refundable as stated in the contract. Thank You Michelle" Since then I've called over a dozen times to speak with Michelle or one of the owners Bruce & Meghan. They refuse to speak when they are there. And no messages have been returned or responded to. Horrible company. Truly awful service. Take your business elsewhere read more

horrible service!! had a grad party and they just left it in my driveway (middle of my party) not in the backyard where i wanted and specified on the form. wasp nest was on the side of the unit and my daughter was stung. they came to pick up, zero notice, no call, nobody knocked. we were both home but they decided to wedge it between my truck and our party tent. they bent the tent poles in 2 places and the entire tent collapsed on top of my truck. ive been requesting a refund for 2 weeks and leaving messages for the owner with zero response. will never use again. i will not recommend to anyone to use this company! read more

I rented an 8' Cottage Trailer bathroom for our backyard wedding reception at my parents home on Long Island. An hour into the party the trailer started flooding into the driveway. Apparently it is incredibly easy to break their toilets? One of our guests stepped "too hard" on the flusher which made it jam, and is what caused the flood/ made the toilets unusable. Ridiculous that their equipment could so easily break. They did bring a replacement trailer fairly quickly after my wedding coordinator called, but we had to have the guests use the indoor bathrooms for 90 minutes of the 5 hour party, which caused my parents cesspool to overflow. I sent an email about my dissatisfaction the day after the event, and got no reply. When I called a few days later, I spoke to a manager who basically told me we are lucky that they aren't charging us for the faulty toilet that one of guest "broke" (again, I don't understand how the equipment can be that poorly made that it's that easy to jam it) , but offered me a coupon to book my next portapotty needs with them. You have got to be kidding me. Absolutely horrible customer service. I would recommend giving someone else your business. Perhaps someone who won't be rude and would try and compensate for a very dissatisfying situation. read more

I ordered a holding tank for my camper & they were supposed to come empty it once a week the cost was about $300 a month! 6 months went by & I called them because the smell & bugs are terrible & it smells I. The camper as well! Well the guy who came & emptied it said it was there mistake they never put me on a route!!!!! For 6 months my tank was literally full of shit!! Thank god it was only me using it! I called & left multiple emails to speak with the owner but he refused multiple times I even left my info & the girls in the office said well he's the owner & he doesn't like to deal with the customers so you have to speak with us!!! They really should of did the right thing & refunded me at least half of not all the money since I paid for a service I didn't receive for 6 months! After getting aggravated at the end of the month they came early in the morning before 7am & took the tank away without even telling me! Yet I was paid in full & had 2 months credit he said he would give me but came & picked it up!! Please save yourself the aggravation & go elsewhere! Terrible customer service as well as being a fraud & steeling people's money! It's been months & I still never received a refund!! After receiving delivery of my eight foot, (8' Residence Trailer) portable toilet, Sept. 6, 2020, I found waste baskets in each restroom filled with debris. I sent a letter twice to Outback, at two different email addresses and received no response from any company representative. I was happy with the trailer but disappointed in the lack of attention to the condition of their trailer and lack of response as well from any rep. This is the copy of my letter: Hello Bruce, Outback Portable Toilets came highly recommended and that was our primary reason for choosing your company. The Residence eight foot trailer arrived early on the day of our celebration. I was happy about that because we were expecting a large group and an early arrival gave us time to check things out and add our personal touch. To my disappointment your trailer, (which I was told was a brand new acquisition) was not clean. Both restrooms, mens and womens, waste baskets were full from a previous rental. I now had to empty both waste baskets and knowing they weren't checked by your company forced me to do a more thorough cleaning of both restrooms to put my mind at ease and insure the safety and health of my guests. The restrooms were a big hit and the guests were impressed by the many options that were installed. Hopefully you'll be more responsible prior to any deliveries you may have for future rentals. It just doesn't look good for your company. In closing, I must say I was satisfied with your trailer and hope this mishap is not a common occurrence. Thank You, Sincerely , Frank B. BUYER BEWARE, BAIT AND SWITCH. RUDE TO BOOT. Vendor that doesn't value your business, quoted me a price and multiple times assured me it included delivery but when I was sent the contract the price soared from $800-1450. He prides himself on how nice his toilets are but I've seen restroom trailers just as nice or nicer. Every other quote I got was lower - take your hard earned money elsewhere this guy doesn't care about you or your event. read more

Outback Portables was super easy to work with. I was required to use them for my wedding at the George Weir Barn on Long Island, so I did not have any other options in terms of price, which is frustrating. But, the staff was great and the bathroom trailers are great quality and spotless. They also give you an attendant for 4 hours, which is nice. Additionally, they now have a bridal suite option which was a great choice, despite the additional cost. read more

I called Sunday morning with an issue. Bruce thought it was a "dry pipe" as house had been empty for a few months, and had just been renovated. Brian came first thing Monday morning. He listened to me as I described the problem and then went to work. He checked the cesspool as I asked him to do, and then snaked the lines. (I hope I am using the correct terms.) His work ethic is amazing. The charge to check the cesspool and clear the clogged line was half of what Roto Router wanted to charge me for just snaking the line.
