Took our Gravely mower to them (since we purchased it from them) spent thousands trying to get them to repair the "it's turning on and off" situation. When we were lied to by Tracy (parts manager) about the parts being on "back order" -- BTW I personally called Graveley's corporate office and spoke with parts and they said that both parts were available and could be shipped out that day, I called back to Tracy and was referred to Dave. Dave said that their system might state "back order" on the parts even if they were actually in store. He took over the case and found that the parts were actually in store and had the mower repaired and returned to us within an additional seven days. We started it up and immediately had the same problem with it. We called Dave and he said that he would call us back. Having received no phone call, we drove it over to the Conroe location on August 28 (having to rent a truck as usual to do so) and when we arrived were told that the owner had decided that he didn't like our review on the internet and that they would no longer work on our mower. Classy. What a professional move. If you can't fix it, just decide to shuck off the problem to another company. Not a problem Dave. Not at all. I needed a replacement gas cap for my Exmark Zero Turn. This is a small thing in their business but to me it was very important. The attitude of employee Bran was enthusiastic with a service first focus. She had to do some research since it is an older zero turn. She was cheerful and was determined. I am thinking during all this......Wow! The personal attention and desire to help me will ensure that when I need something, which is seldom I will return to Outdoor Equipment Outlet in Conroe. I live closer to The Woodlands location, but Clay answered a lot of the questions I had over the phone and was very patient so I decided to come to this location. Both locations are great! Clay was awesome from start to finish! I will definitely be buying future mowers from him and this location. The whole staff was very friendly and made sure I was taken care of, the store is awesome and they have plenty of models and options. I'd recommend again and again to anyone looking to buy any type of lawn equipment! This place is great! I arrived in need of a mower without knowing much of a difference between all of the models. I spoke with Danny Keels and he was super helpful. He knew all the ins and outs regarding each mower and also recommendations for one that fit my needs. I ended up with a SCAG Tiger Cat and love this thing. A mower that home owners dream about.
