It was an interesting experience however for a person who is claustrophobic this is not something I would recommend although I did conquer the fear of sitting inside of that ball it only let me know I would never do anything like that again because of my claustrophobia. There really should be some kind of warning for people who aren't great swimmers who suffer from claustrophobia or who have breathing problems. Do not get me wrong there isn't a lot of water inside it's just a fact that if you already pair some of the things I mentioned along with water or people who may have fears of water then this is not something for you I do not personally have a fear of water... Ever wanted to know what a hamster feels like inside a ball? Your in luck cause this isnit! This goes pretty quick and thry keep on point with moving the line along so definitely make an appointment. You won't get wet, YOU WILL GET SOAKED. Now, you have to launch yourself into the ball so be prepared and two people is better than three. So awesome!!! So much fun. You dont flip inside...you just ride it down. I didn't do this but my kids did..they loved it. The only thing is you cant see where your going on the dry orb. They didn't want to go a second or third time. They said it would have been nice to see where you were going. It was foggy. Really different fun but the dry just goes straight down, they have a water orb where you are in it with water...different funner course. We arrived about 30 mins before they closed, at 2:30pm ET. I told them I needed 3 tickets, but I'm going to pay for 1 adult and 1 child and that my father-in-law was going to pay for the other child. I told her that I had a $5 off coupon to use which was off each ticket per the coupon. They immediately told me that their management told them NOT to honor ANY of the $5 off coupons but they could offer a FREE GoPro video. I told them we brough out own GoPro and I wanted the $5 off each ticket. They told me that they couldn't do that and then after requesting a manager, they said they could take $5 off one ticket but that was the best that they could do. I said that was fine, because the price was just $44 online, so $5 off that price would be just $39 for 2 rides. So she said one was $20 and the other one would be $25. She told me that my total was $78.47! I was taken back and told her that there must be some sort of mistake. She said there was no mistake and that she was only charging me $20 for one ride and $25 for the other one. Well still, that's only $45 so how in the world did we get to $78.47 from $45? So you are telling me that there is $33.47 in tax on 2 tickets priced at what should be $45? She said there was no mistake and I told her that I will gladly go spend my money elsewhere and I was not paying nearly $80 for 2 rides. That's DOUBLE the price then what is advertised online! This was a great activity. We had a lot of fun. We did 3 rolls (you can get a $5 savings pigeon forge to guide site by booking with them online) One track you must ride by yourself. So that made 4 videos total. But when we went to purchase she said there were 5. This confused us & she said that I must've turned off then on the camera. I did not- nor do I know how. I didn't know if she was trying to say I would be paying for 5 or what. But she finally said we would only pay for 4. So just be careful of this as I don't know what would've happened had I notice stressed we each only did 3 rolls & it should be 4 videos. Videos are $10 first & $5 each additional. Personally I think this is ridiculous. There should be a flat fee for each package of rolls. I'm unsure if they allow you to bring your own camera. But you can bring back your usb flashdrive they put videos on to add more. read more

(My previous experience with this venue was while they were Zorb) As much as I want to like these guys, I was greeted on Jan 24 (along with 12+ of my friends) with a locked gate. Yes, I could understand if they had left a message on their machine stating they were closed due to the weather, but we had no such response when we called them. Website also said they were open that day. And of course, we had Groupons which now we can no longer use (expire in May) and Groupon doesn't offer refunds for closure like this. Will I go again sometime? Possibly. The experience when they were Zorb was awesome, and I expect more of the same from the new owners. However, this left a bad taste in my mouth. Just make sure to get your Groupons less than 3 days before you attend in case you need to get your money back for any reason such as this (Groupon's refund policy is 3 days after purchase). read more

We went as a family to Outdoor Gravity Park when on vacation in Gatlinburg, TN. This was SO MUCH FUN!! Way better than the endless mountain coasters the Smoky Mountains has to offer. This is a small family business which means the level of service and quality of an experience has to be high. Big business usually loses this which is a shame. The front desk staff was friendly and we really didn't even wait around to experience the fun. If you are in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge this is a MUST and is the ONLY park around that currently offers this experience. You WON'T want to MISS IT! read more

Fun spot to check out as they have 3 different courses. The first time down, we went in 3 at a time and it was super fast! My 8 year old was a little scared and didn't want to go down a second time. The nine year olds had no problem using the extra tickets. It does get pricey since you have to pay per person per ride. There are no discounts for having the group go in one ball. This is an absolute must do in Pigeon Forge, especially if you like water slides. There are three runs-one straight and quick, one slower and meandering (combo of straight and zig zag-and good for younger kids), and one that is a zig zag course (back and forth and a little rougher). Only the outer ball rotates as it rolls down the hill. The inner ball has a few gallons of water in it, and you lay on your back inside (just like a water slide). Once you start rolling, you will remain on your back (no flipping happens), but you may rotate around on your back inside the ball. This is a lot of fun and yes, you definitely get wet. Come with your bathing suits ready (they have changing rooms and cubbies and will hold your keys at the desk for you), and towels to dry off. The prices are reasonable and the more runs you buy, the cheaper the price gets. read more

We had a blast. Show up early we got there around 10:45 and there was already a line. Book online before you go they don't always take walk ins because of the crowd. They do military discount just put it in the comment when you are booking. They have cubbies in the lobby you can put your belongings in also have some in the bathroom/changing rooms. They also had a hair dryer in the laddies. We got checked in and fill out the forms they give you a wrist band to track your rolls. You take a bus to the top of the hill pick your track you want to go down we did two rolls on the red track and one on orange. The red track you can have three people in the ball (one person = one roll) so if you have two in the ball it's 2 rolls. They give you a go pro to use on your roll down you use the same GoPro for your whole time. The orange track is single rider only because it'll "throw you around " nothing to crazy tho. You turn your go pro in at the end and you can get your video or videos for a small price. They sell swimsuits and shirts n towels. The staff was super nice and had the lines going very well we got in and finished our three rolls with in an hour. read more

We had such a blast. This is one of the coolest things I've ever done. I can't wait to watch my GoPro video. Everybody there was so nice and helpful, especially Maddie who went out of her way, above and beyond to help us out. Maddie was a real gem. After going one time, we bought tickets to go again. I could have done this all day over and over. We will definitely be back to try the other tracks, and are very excited to see all of the new new attractions they will be adding. We went on a day that was not very warm, and raining, but it did not hamper the experience at all. You do get wet, so be prepared with a change of clothes, and take your bathing suit and a towel. While this was fun, one roll is over in about 2 1/2 minutes (or less). If you get the 3 roll package, for $57, that's as much as a kid's ticket at Dollywood for the day!! As a family of 4, we opted for the 5 roll package ($90 + tax) thinking each adult could ride once with each kid and then the kids could ride once together for our 5 rides. Silly me....each time you ride the bus up the hill, it counts as a ride-whether you share a ball or not. Ultimately, we ended up purchasing one more ride so both kids could go again. Go ride a gravity coaster instead-I think they're more fun, last longer, and cost less. On the bright side, everyone at the venue was courteous and efficient! read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about Outdoor Gravity Park. Kaitlyn was the sweetest and most helpful with all of our questions! The other girl at the front desk was also incredibly helpful and nice! The guys setting up our zorb balls and running the bus to the top we're so nice especially helping us get into the balls. Absolutely get the go pros: taking the video itself is free and if you decide to buy they are $15 for the first and $5 for each after. We were concerned it would be too cold but the water inside the ball and the heat in the van were worth the little bit of chill you experience getting in and out of the ball. After being suckered into signing up by fellow Yelper Lisa W, I won't lie I was scared. I've jumped out of planes yet I was still afraid. Something didn't seem natural about basically turning into a human hamster and being pushed down the side of a mountain in a big wet ball. Nonetheless I gave it a try. Grocery bag on my head (to protect my fancy hair do) and bathing suit on I did it and... I HAD a BLAST! So much fun that I did it twice. It was pretty easy to get in and go through the check-in process. It wasn't terribly expensive either. Wear a swim suit/shorts. There's not a chance of walking out dry. You take a little bus to the top of the mountain to reach the ball launch area. You also have the option of recording your experience with a Go pro camera. I highly recommend doing so. I screamed with sheer terror. I screamed some more until it actually turned into screams and laughter of delight. So...much...fun! Added bonus, my hair didn't get wet. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to go down the extreme course solo dolo. Whhhheeeeeee! Even more fun! There will be a wait to get your video. I had issues downloading mine. You have to be at least 5 years to ride with parents. They had a really nice store that have great clean restrooms that you can change. They even had a hair dryer. The Good - What a thrill!! My husband and I rode together- I screamed the entire time, he laughed. Each kid rode on their own and all reported "IT WAS AWRSOME!" The staff on top of the hill was amazing. They joked, reassured us and had more jokes. We had a good time with them. I'm glad I did it but I will never do it again however my husband and kids would do it every day. -- FUN FUN FUN The Bad- the staff inside, the ones that sold us tickets. They were dry, aloof and almost made us walk out. Had the kids not wanted to do it so badly, I would have. The one with the most negative attitude was the young man, he seemed to be the largest presence in the room. He acted as we were an annoyance to him by us. Walking through the door. We absolutely loved our time at the gravity park. The owner was there working and he was so friendly and personable. They drive you up in a bus and the orbs go up on a conveyer belt so there is little to no work you have to do as a guest. The rides were spectacular and you can take a go pro with you to record your entire experience. We recommend going on the red track with a few friends and get ready for an adrenaline rush! First off, I my family and I were very excited about taking this adventure, but we're greatly disappointed. The day we scheduled to ride ended up being a cool rainy day, but no big deal. We were told to form a line a wait inside until it was our turn. We did just that. After waiting about an hour in line a group of people (20+) who just arrived started lined up outside near the pick up spot. The staff was aware of this but did nothing. Instead they pickup up the crowd outside and took them to the top of the hill causing the line of people inside to wait another 30 minutes for following the rule that they set. Total BS!!! I would have gladly waited outside if that is where they wanted us to wait. After waiting the extra 30 minutes (outside) we were met with rude staff that rushed us through the ride. The owner said "go ahead and leave a bad review" he did not care. Their poor planning and bad management ruined this experience for my family. I will try this activity again by not at OUTDOOR GRAVITY PART. Riding in a big plastic ball down the hillside is more fun than it sounds. You don't go head over heels. But you get wet, so wear your bathing suit, bring a towel and a change of clothes. You basically ride in a small pool of water in the low point of the ball. It's like riding a water slide. My wife was very unsure and said she would watch me go down the hill once before she decided if she would do it. She decided to go with me on my first run and she laughed the whole way down the hill. We did a lot of stuff on this trip (zip lines, white water rafting, 4 wheeling, mountain coasters) and this was the biggest smile I saw from her the whole time. Zorbing. It's a thing. They shuttle you up a big hill where you then jump into a big inflatable ball. They put in some water and push you down hill. It's fast and fun but not overly crazy. You just slide around inside. The purchase area is clean and nice with polite staff. The changing rooms were big and clean. They offer you go pros and sell you the videos for an extra cost.
