We are staying at an Airbnb in Sevierville, and we saw this zip line company when we were on our way to Pigeon Forge. I went with my son who is six. The tour guides (Red and Rambo) were friendly and funny and very encouraging. The drive up the mountain in the back of the truck was a lot of unexpected fun. You do about six zip lines. They all have spectacular views. My son did the first few in tandem with a guide and then he ended up doing the last three on his own! Guides that took us up were awesome zip lines were cool, the sixth zip line which was the fastest and longest zip line had something malfunction after 3 people went on it and we were forced to hike back up to the road miss a portion of what we payed for and got told we would not receive any portion of our money back. Kind of poor business practice if you asked me. How do you charge full price for a portion of the entire experience. Disappointing, I will definitely be going to a different zip line place in the future. read more

Our first zipline experience was a great one thanks to our guides Cadillac and Joker! We signed up for the first tour of the day and were the only customers on the tour. We rode up the mountain on the back of a truck and there was very little walking after that. It was like our own personal tour of the park. Cadillac and Joker told stories, jokes and shared about their life as well as gave us the dope on each zipline. We had a blast!!! The guides were nice and funny. They helped make my kids comfortable going zip lining for the first time. After a short ride up the hill in the truck, you get ready to launch. My kids thought it was so cool to ride in the back of a truck without seat belts! Excellent views and and great zips above the trees. You get to see the mountains, valleys and zip past tree tops. What more could you want? We did the six zip package and it was plenty and took about two hours. We would definitely come back and visit when we're back in town. read more

What an awesome ride! 5 lines taking you over treetops and ravines. I felt special as initially I was the last to reserve for the noon run and when I arrived, found out the other portion of the group had cancelled. They were going to run me solo, but at the last minute another patron came for the adventure. Both of us first timers. Our guides were patient, thorough in their explanations and made a great cheering section as we zipped from platform to platform. Fantastic fun! read more

I highly recommend this place!!! We made our reservation for 3 online, and I received an email confirmation right away that included tips and guidelines. That was very informative with 2 of us being first time zip liners. Upon arrival, we checked in with a gentleman who was funny and patient. Once everyone in our time slot checked in we went to the "pre flight" area where we met our guides, Red and Blue. Our harnesses were already laid out and ready for us to step into. They came up to us one by one to put our equipment on and adjust it correctly. We also were given helmets and gloves. The course and instructions were briefly explained. They tricked us up to the top of the course of 6 lines, all different lengths, heights and pitches. At the first platform, they explained again what to do, and gave the statistics of that particular line. They were very patient with us newbies, and their guidance and humor eased our anxiety. All question were answered, everything was explained no matter how many times we asked them. Then it was time to fly! I felt safe and respected. They told us about each line before we took off from it. The views are spectacular. The course is more than a beginner course, as the longest line was 1500 feet, and the fastest was about 50 MPH. But you don't feel like you're going that fast. I can't say enough about how enjoyable it was, and how great the guides were. They're funny, informative and patient. I would recommend Wears Valley Zipline Adventures to everyone. Their attention to detail, safety and patience and knowledge were top notch. Thank you to Blue, Red and the office guy the later called Yellow for the best first time flying experience I could ever imagine. I'm going back again soon! read more

Really fun. Guides were friendly and helpful. Relaxing and exhilarating all at once. Basic course is 4 ziplines for about 50 bucks. Good value and a fun way to spend the morning. Admittedly, I felt like the passenger on the plane who needs the seat-belt extension. I got "stuck" more than once and had to be reeled in. I guess my weight was just unbalanced and I needed some more momentum. Also- don't pull down on the rope too hard, because that makes you break and you won't make it to the end of the line. Go for it! As a first timer, I said "yes" on impulse. Joker & Cadillac put me at ease with their sense of humor, gentle encouragement and attention to safety. They have a no turn back attitude that is contagious. If it's possible to feel safe traveling through the Smokey Mountains on a wire - they can do it! We had a blast and I'm glad we experienced the Smokey Mountains like this. They guy at the counter was very friendly and persuasive! Awesome! This little gem is off the beaten path. Away from the main parkway. We have been zip lining several times in Pigeon Forge. This was by far the best place to zip line. We had Doc and Cadillac as our guides. Doc has been in this line of work for years. Cadillac was at another zip line that we went to before. These guys are fun but safety is always priority. This was awesome. I've only ziplined in Alaska and this was much much better. Because I was with 4 kids who had never ziplined, we did the yellow course which is slower but still great. At the end we took the option to do 3 more ziplines for an additional $22 per person. It was worth every penny. The highlight of our vacation. The price was the most appealing for beginner zippliners like us. We didn't want to go all out our first time, and Wears allowed us to have a decent course for not too much money. Our guides Snoopy and Gump were great. You could tell they really enjoyed the job, as did our driver who took us up to the top, and back down the mountain after the zipping was over.
