She was very knowledgable and helped me find 2 unusual shades that really were perfect for the lamps. On my next visit I had her rewire 2 lamps, they did beautiful work and the lamps which I have had for many years looked brand new. They went above and beyond polishing the metal, cleaning the ceramic and even staining the base that had a nick in it. Shops like this are gems when they can restore your loved but in need of an update fixtures. I bought 2 more shades and I felt the price was very fair for the quality fo the work and the shades. I don't even know where to begin with this. I'm a big supporter of small businesses and try to do…read morebusiness with them first. I drove 40 minutes to get to this place. I dropped my lamp off to be repaired and was told it would take "about a week". On the 8th day I hadn't heard anything so I called the store. Mind you when I dropped the lamp off for a simple wiring repair I was told it would be a little over 100 dollars which I thought was a lot of money, but the lamp had sentimental value so I agreed. There were lamps all over the store and I wasn't given a claim ticket or anything, I just walked out of the store thinking it was a small business and they would just remember me and my lamp without a claim ticket. My father owned a small business and he could remember every person he spoke to. After a week, I'd heard nothing so called the store, and I was asked to describe my lamp. I was caught a bit off guard by that but I described it as brass looking because it is. Now obviously there are a lot of brass colored lamps, and one would think an organized business person would assign claim tickets to items in order to keep track of them. The person I spoke to, I assume is the owner seemed to have no idea who I was or which lamp was mine, he put me on hold. He came back and advised that, after a week, my lamp was not done but that if I would call him by the end of the day he would have it done. I had advised I needed to travel for my job and I wanted this off my plate before I left town. I called later that day and was advised the lamp is done. The next morning I woke up an hour early to drive the 40 minutes to get the lamp. When I walked in, the lamp was sitting in the same place I'd left it 9 days earlier. I pointed at the lamp and said "I'm here to pick this up" and the man said "oh that's your lamp? It's not done. That lamp is more gold colored, you said yours was brass". If this man didn't have his head up his you-know-what, he would have a clue how to run a business. If you call their phone number, he doesn't answer with the name of the business, he just says "hello" and you have to ask if you've reached the lamp repair store. When I got there to pick up my unrepaired lamp, I found him out front smoking a cigarette. Classy. I left with my unrepaired lamp and the man could not have cared less that he wasted my time. So if you want to do business with moronic idiot who won't respect you, your business or your time, go for it.

My family and I went to this store today and we were shopping for supplies to make a Koi pond in our front yard. Lowe's is basically a giant one stop shop for anything related to home improvement, home repair, and this includes anything you might need for your lawn and garden. They even sell some pet toys! They also sell sheds at Lowes. My mom even found a tiny adorable cactus that she just had to have here at Lowe's. If you have trouble with coming out to the store for any reason, you are covered because Lowe's offers same day delivery options and they also allow you to place orders online and then schedule a pickup at one of their stores. If you've never been to a Lowe's Home Improvement store before I definitely recommend you checking them out. They are really a great value for the Brevard County area of Florida. Lowe's is such a great value to all of their customers who live in the Space Coast area of Florida. Cameras with motion-detector flood lights were almost half off, Other things like kitchen appliance packages were less at Home Depot. I like the selection, quality, and style of the items there. The same is true with the Garden Department. A better variety of choices.

Follow up Post: We began our Kitchen /Floors remodel on the…read morefirst floor of our home 3/22 and signed contracts with S&W 9/21 we initially had several Issues from careless outside contractors that either were no shows, showed up and never did or finished the jobs. We had our brand new refrigerator scratched and never mounted correctly so the whole back panel froze and we never even got to use the ice cube maker. As Frustrating as the whole process was we had one person in the company who kept pulling through for us every time there was an issue which also included orchestrating our brand new floors needing to be ripped out and replaced due to a manufacturing recall. Although the remodel started out rough mostly due to the lack of tradesman wanting to work and do the jobs they were hired to do which seems to be quiet norm here in Brevard county. Justin Crump who I believe was procurement with S&w when we initially met and he ordered the new refrigerator doors got the entire job mot only done but went over and beyond to make sure we were happy which eventually resulted in bringing out a Finishing Crew to do our final punch list and replaced our refrigerator when the doors the second time around were not installed correctly again.
