IRRITATED TO THE MAX in Beechwold I 100% agree with Chris T and Frustrated C...terrible experience, EXQUISITELY slow in even starting to work and doing a lousy job when they finally got there several months down the road (after I emailed numerous times because they never answered their phone). Apparently I'm not the only one the owner chose to yell at. I delayed paying the company for exactly as long as they delayed getting to work for me. A number of friends and neighbors asked me why I paid them at all! I would never recommend this company to anyone. I do believe that this is the very first time that I've actually given a negative recommendation. I would hate to see others ripped off the way I was. I had to pay another company to complete some of the rotten work they did. My review is based on my experience with the company last spring and summer. They have always performed in a professional and timely manner. Anytime I have needed a special project they have been more than willing to help. Terrible experience with service and the company owner. We had no contract with this company and they continued service, without billing us for months. Every contact I tried to make with them was met with an unreturned call or promises to send information, which never came. After months of trying to get contract/service information, and my instructions to stop service on our property, I received the first bill (which stated an over due balance). How do you have an over due balance, when you've previously never been been billed. The owner also believes its good customer service to threaten "lawsuits", when he clearly has no case. Disappointing experience with John and team. Constantly requesting services to be completed that I paid in full for at the beginning of the year. Burned out my grass due to over treating of weeds. Scheduled a spring aeration, but that turned into a fall aeration b/c it was never completed. Had to constantly remind him that the lawn treatments were not being done on time and my lawn actually had more weeds after he started treating it. Completed services that were not part of my signed contract and expected me to pay for it......will never recommend to my neighbors or the HOA. read more

I thought I was in for a great experience with this company. I found their nice website, filled out the estimate request, and the guy was here the next day to give me estimates for all kinds of work - mulching, tree trimming, fertilization, grass cutting, etc. I filled out my work requests and mailed them back to him March 7, 2012. Well, today is May 14th and he has been nowhere to be found to complete the aeration work I requested. The office asserts that "they are so busy working through everyone that it is taking a while to get to you and you just have to be patient." Well, ok, maybe that's true and it's isolated. However, I'm sure my parents will be reviewing him as well here shortly because of the way he has handled their business (no-show on 4 occasions, doesn't answer phone, cashed check but delayed work for 2 months, screamed at them on the phone about how busy he was and how they are lucky he would even consider working with them...WTH?). I feel bad because I made the mistake of recommending this person for a large job. And here all he does is cash checks and no-show on you. Very unfortunate. Landscaping companies are a dime a dozen, so I would recommend finding one that actually performs great service rather than just has a flashy website and estimate papers. read more

Nightmare! I was a customer in 2012 and 2013. I believed them when they said they would improve. Don't believe them. Although the crews are fine and always appreciated the snacks and water I gave, the owner is a nightmare. He needs a basic accounting course. SAVE every checklist they leave after mowing, COPY every check you send, because you will need them to prove that you've paid. They don't understand the concept of PayPal. They do not answer the phone or email on weekends, so if they don't show up one week, you must wait until Monday to call. They never answer the phone, so you must play phone tag. Save yourself the headache. There are many other companies who really deserve your money. read more

I just recently had a core aeration and was so satisfied with the office staff and ground crew, that I've asked them to come back and do some tree trimming and start fertilizing routine service. The crew that showed up and friendly and cleaned up the yard nicely before they left. Communications with the office personnel was great via email letting me know when they would be out. Good service at reasonable prices, just ask when they'll be out for your service and they'll let you know what the schedule is. read more
