I didn't even know what that was, I just knew I was in tremendous pain, and then my friend went to a class here, met the owner Brian, and told me I needed to go see him to get help. He figured out what was wrong, worked with me by doing some active stretch therapy and some deep tissue massage. We got the joint popped back into place and out of acute pain, and it made a rough situation so much better. Saved our vacation for sure. When I got home and got to see my dr, he asked who had helped because he was very impressed! Big big big thanks to Brian. And I look forward to taking a proper Pilates class with him next time we're in town, as my friend raved about the classes too.

The Yin class my sister, cousin and I attended was just what I needed. We made up nearly half of the class, and direction was given clearly and optional poses were suggested for people who had different ranges of flexibility. A little over a year ago, I wrote a review after completing about 15 classes at btone. At the time,…read moreI said I hated gyms, never stuck with workout programs, and was shocked I even wanted to come back after my first class left me sore for days. Fast forward to today... I just completed my 277th class. What started as "maybe I'll try this for two weeks" has become one of the best things I've done for myself physically and mentally. btone completely changed my relationship with fitness. I'm stronger, more toned, have better balance and endurance, and actually look forward to working out now -- something I never thought I'd say. The instructors continue to be incredible. They challenge you while still making the classes approachable for every fitness level, and the atmosphere is supportive instead of intimidating. Whether you're walking in for your first class or celebrating your 500th, everyone is encouraged and celebrated. One of my favorite things is that no matter how many classes I take, I still feel challenged and continue seeing progress. The workouts never feel stale. For anyone intimidated to start: I was absolutely the person who thought fitness programs "weren't for me." Now I'm the person taking 6am classes multiple times a week and planning my schedule around btone. Safe to say the two-week trial worked. :)
