This was the absolute worst hood I've ever gotten, I spent about 350 on the hood alone along with another 100 on the recommended lens at checkout, which by the way didn't even fit in the hood so I had to file the hood down a bit, I got a chopped hood and the leather they put on was peeling off and you could see the glue underneath, the studs they put in to hold the leather were all uneven not to mention this is the heaviest hood I've ever had, I love the look of these hoods but the quality is so shit please fix read more

There orange auto darkening lens sucks no matter how long i let it charge in the sun it will continue to flash I have cleaned the sensors and it doesn't help at all I would recommend finding a better brand read more

I paid $85 for a variable shade (one of the recommendations after I selected my hood). The shade they sent me DOES NOT FIT. Initially, I ordered 4 welding caps, they were well made and the fit is perfect. I ordered a $200+ welding hood after being pleased with the quality of the welding caps and just received it. The leather work is great but the packaging of the hood was very disappointing. There was no bubble wrap or wrapping of any kind to protect the hood during the shipping process. It's seems as if the hood was just thrown into the box and sent off. Luckily, the hood is still usable and not damaged, other than the leather being warped. read more

BEWARE!! Very poor customer service, the woman who answers the phone has a bad stink attitude. I received items that were damaged and brought it to their attention, they ask for pictures of the damage, after sending them pictures they say "for visible damages you only have 3 days after that lens is received" It states clearly on their return policy 30 days, and no return fees if the items are damaged. So, I get sent items that are damaged and ask them about sending it back and or replacing it, they tell me I cannot, as if it's my fault. They don't package anything well for shipment, they toss the items in a box and tape it and send it without packaging or protective wrap or anything at all. No care whatsoever! I would give no stars if I could. After spending hundreds of dollars here, I will no longer, also a welder of mine had over $1200 in the cart and I successfully talked him into spending his clean money somewhere else. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NO GOOD! My husband ordered a helmet and lens. He was very pleased with the helmet but the lens was not sent. After MANY NUMERIOUS calls and emails, the company refuses to accept responsability, and blames it on FedEx. Why would FedEx be involved. The package was not tampered with any way to indicate FedEx opened it and stole a lens. They even sent us a picture to show that they packed both a lens and a helmet (the lens being under the helmet), assuming we have x-ray vision and see under the helmet. This was their proof that they packed TWO items, although we could only see one item. I requested a RETURN slip on Friday morning and have yet to hear back from them. I have spoken to my credit card company to fight this charge, and as I was instructed by them, I am sending this product back today, paying FedEx out of my own pocket since they refuse to help. I will be videoing my return from pack, to seal, to shipping away at the FedEx office. These people are sneaky, and dishonest, and will not take responsability for any errors they or their staff make. I would suggest you buy somewhere else unless you just have time to waste dealing with this company. As I said, my husband liked the helmet, but their refusal to accept they did not pack 1 $85 lens is beyond belief! Accept your responsability and you would have had a loyal client. Now you are losing $195, which may be a drop in the bucket for you, and that's fine, but once people read your reviews, you will lose more.
