I love shopping for bargains, and if your an outlet shopper this is the place for you. Its really a huge and grand new addition to the factory outlet family, especially to the central valley region and a perfect pit-stop stop or emergency shopping stop for anyone traveling on the CA-99 and CA-5. I would visit their website to make sure I have the right exit or program my GPS before hand to exit here,because they exit to tejon is still not visible. It was opened like probably end of last year and already the outlets was filled with many big brands that you can find at outlets near to Los Angeles (Citadel & Camarillo) and the bay area (Gilroy and Livermore) The bargains here are great (you need to sort the really good deals from the bad just like at any outlets) and you can find majority of the stores at other outlets here, you might want to check their website before visiting to make sure they have the stores you want. Im just disappointed that they don't have a kate spade here. They have a massive parking structure so its never a problem parking here - free of charge and getting in and out the parking has got to be the easiest. The shopping experience here for me has been positive and I have gotten great bargains.. The stores are arranged in a grid system and is facing one another so its really great and safe, because you can go door to door without walking too far and you don't have to cross any street unlike other outlets (very practical if you have kids). The outlets have plenty of place to sit to rest while waiting and also is very nicely decorated with gardens, fountains, and covered in most parts, so its not too hot shopping there during summer. Bathrooms are clean and new. They have a huge cafeteria where they offer pizza, wings, burgers, ice cream, salads, chinese and subway. The only thing missing at this outlet is a coffee and tea store, which is a bummer because I love a cafe to drink some coffee while waiting for my friends or family shopping. read more

We decided to stop here to let our son stretch out and run around a bit on our trip from LA to the Bay Area. I was pleasantly surprised. We found a good handful of stores to go into, and we ended up buying more than we anticipated. We didn't look too hard, but we did not see a play area for kids. ALL shopping areas of this size need something for kids (pssss...having a play area usually gets parents/moms to shop longer!). However, overall this place has a nice look and layout. I'm not sure if we'd stop on every trip through this area, but if we have the time I'd consider it! read more

I like coming here after hours of driving. Was traveling on the 5 from Socal to Norcal and wanted to drop by an outlet. Spotted Tejon and realized it was opened not too long ago. The bathrooms were clean and the place is nicely designed and very new-looking. Had all the stores I wanted to see before heading back home. Service is good in all the stores. I hope to come back if I'm ever in the area again. Also, it's super hot here in the summer and it's outdoors, so I suggest bringing sunglasses :) read more

These outlets were your usuals, has the classics, perfume shops, jewelers, shoe shops, and etc. Nothing really stood out to me where I would go out of my way to come here. I was glad they had a Gap Outlet, I was surprised seeing a Pottery Barn Outlet. Very spacious, besides the outlet itself, there aren't much else around the outsides. You know how sometimes when you go outlet shopping, some outlets have other things around the outskirts of the place. Such as Walmart, Target, and etc. One thing i wish they up their game on is the Food Court, the choices were... Ice cream Subway Wingstop Tony's Pizza Some Chinese place I got to try the pizza place, though which was really good! Separate review for that. Plus why isn't there a coffee shop at this place?? How you expect your shoppers to keep going without any caffeine available?!? It's crazyyy talk! Loved the stores and sales at this outlet. We enjoyed our time here and got good deals on clothing from Banana republic, express and adidas.

I love stopping at this place on the way home from LA. It makes for a great stop to stretch your legs and get some good deals. I don't feel like many people go here so I tend to find really awesome deals here. Some of my favorite stops here are: -Le Crueset: I've gotten tons of great deals here. They have a back table which features there final sale/last call items. Here I have gotten baking pans for like 30 dollars, a pie rack for 13 and a lemon squeezer for 10! I almost got a dutch oven in the shape of a heart for 100 last time, but I already have one Le Crueset dutch oven and probably don't need two ;) -The Loft: They have an awesome sale section here. I've gotten tons of cute clothes for 5-20 dollars from the sale section. -Banana Republic: The sale section here is also great. Last time I was here I got shorts for 5 dollars and slacks for 10! Plus they take a teachers discount for another 15 percent off. -Pottery Barn Outlet: This really makes it all worth it. I love this place and have gotten a sheet set for 30, duvet cover for 35, artwork for 10...lots of great goodies for the home! read more

The store selection is decent, the architecture is contemporary and well laid out and the parking lot is very spacious. This development has created many jobs and is a local economy booster. Tejon Outlets is a nice place to get a break from the 5 freeway. I don't think they necessarily have the "outlet" prices, but when you think about how this is the middle of nowhere and everything has to be shipped out there, it's not surprising you're paying almost full price. I wish they had a wetzel's pretzels, but we were stuck with auntie Annie's. They did have a nice sized food court, though. The food court area is covered and air conditioned, but most of the actual shopping is strip mall style. There's a mix of locals and drive by tourists hanging out by the big fountain in the middle of the shops. Stores like Coach, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Gap, H&M, Nike, and your usual mall/outlet stores. It is a rather large area since it is single story, everything is sprawled out, so I recommend driving around once before deciding where to park. All in all, a great place to stretch your legs and grab a bite to eat on your way to other adventures. read more

I visited here a couple of years ago with my parents and my wife on our way back from visiting LA over Christmas. This was a pretty new outlet and could see it from the interstate. Anyways, we got there early in the morning so not many people. The stores were okay and couldn't really find any good bargains. We did stay here for a while before heading back home. I remembered a really a big Pottery Barn Outlet which I haven't seen. Overall, it is worth to check out but we came up empty handed. read more

What a great stop either coming from up north or down south. During summer time, it can get super hot but if you don't mind. This place is a great resting area with plenty of parking spaces and not much of a crowd. It has you typical outlet mall stores Coach, Gap, Nike, Reebok, and also has Hot Topic which nothing inside which really stands out as a discount/outlet store. I did come out to find some great deals and sizes on some clothing at the Reebok store. It sometimes feels like a ghost town during the weekday but sometimes that can be a good or bad attribute. Food selection is really limited though in the court. They have your typical chinese, pizza, and wing stop inside the court. It's a great place to use the restroom because it it really clean and stocked with items. read more

We went just before Xmas on a rainy, dreary Sunday night. It made for way less crowds so we braved the chilliness. There is a food court option if you need dinner before you go shopping but tons of options around the Outlets too across the street. Restaurants-a-plenty in the area. Starbucks too. And a place to plug your car in if you have an electric ride! Inside the food court the stand-outs were Tony's Pizza and Dewar's. (the coffee ice cream has caffeine in it to keep you going!) The stores at the Outlets were reminiscent of say, the Las Vegas Outlets. Same deal, outdoor shopping which I adore on nice days. Well kept and no annoying center kiosks with people bugging on you to try this or that. There are at least 60 retail outlets and the deals were amazing. You will save a lot of money here if you are willing to make the drive from Bakersfield. You also then get to avoid the 1 Mall we have where the deals are not as great. Highway time went by fast - maybe 20 minutes of highway driving? All staff were really friendly despite probably all being overworked at this time of year. Xmas music was playing and made the whole experience very festive. Our faves were Le Creuset, Converse, Sketchers, Pottery Barn, Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle, Gold Toe. I felt it was missing something like a Beauty Supply Outlet or something along those lines but that could just be me. Get ready to park and walk - the lot is massive. At Holiday time (Xmas) the stores are open til 10pm! read more

Always a good place to shop, especially during the Holidays! (It's breezy, me and my crew get to wear layers, and you don't tire out as much compared to summertime because of the aggressive heat). Currently they have all the brands we usually go for, including the Gap Inc.'s line-up (e.g., BR, Gap, Old Navy). Great male-oriented selections, too, such as Lucky Brand and Polo Ralph Lauren. There's also a Rack Room Shoes right next to Columbia, and Cotton On. Nike's store here is always busy, so if you're a loyal shopper, make sure you go before their expected rush hours (usually busiest from the afternoon onwards). What's bumping me out is the closed Cafeteria, i.e., FoodCourt (whatever you'd like to call it). It'd be nice to have some inside seats available for brunch and drinks. Hopefully they'll come up with the space and diners soon. But the FoodCourt's purpose is actually carried by most of the other diners, only that they're stationed outside such as Dunkin' Donuts, Pieology, Starbucks -- the Outlets is truly an island with well-thought out traveling route for shoppers and travelers. read more

There was no lines, they had varieties of stores and foods. The restroom were clean and well maintenance. I was amazed on how they had an outlet that nice on the side of Highway 5. We decided to take the drive out to the Outlets at Tejon Ranch. It was the Friday after Labor Day and it was actually a decent crowd for a school and work day. We were there all day 10-5 and went almost in every store. For the climate we have it would of been nice if they would of thought to have maybe made it an indoor outlet. It was almost 100* that day and that makes it a bit uncomfortable going store to store and I think about in the winter when it MIGHT rain? Otherwise we actually really liked the stores and are looking forward to the new stores that are going in too. We were told that the empty lot next to the existing stores is where 20 new stores are going. I think this was a great addition to what Kern County needed for shopping choices. Way to go!! J. Crew. I hate to admit this but I like to shop. I'm not a shopaholic but having grown up in the retail business I guess I was exposed to brands and the art that is buying and selling. With that being said, I was super excited that Bakersfield was going to have some outlets built close by. The nearest outlet before Tejon opened their doors is in Tulare and they have been hit and miss for a while. Camarillo is hands down one of the best outlets I've been to, but it takes a couple of hours to get there. Tejon has yet to reach the awesomeness of the Camarillo outlets, but it's a decent 2nd option if need be. When my wife and I stop at these outlets I usually have to visit 3 stores minimum. Hilfiger, Nike and H&M. Nike has always been, and will forever be my favorite brand. The Ralph Lauren store can be hit and miss at times and some places like Calvin Klein or PAC Sun have ran some pretty killer deals. I think the biggest highlight of this Outlet is the various food options they have to offer. Yes you have Auntie Annie's if you want a pretzel, but why settle for that when you can order a pizza from Tony's and order some wings from Wingstop? Juicy Burger and Subway are other options, and for dessert, Dewars is standing by for that sweet tooth. Overall I am a fan of outlets more than I care for malls. Tejon is far from being one of the better ones, but it has some potential and the food court is just what this fat boy needs. read more

There is a ton of variety at these outlets. I didn't get the chance to go into any of the stores because every line was so long! There's a positive to this though-- I appreciate the Outlets At Tejon for properly following covid-19 social distancing guidelines by obviously limiting the amount of people inside each store. I stopped in by the Express Factory Store to use the restrooms and some of the urinals & stalls were cordoned off due to social distancing guidelines. The bathrooms were very clean though. Overall, the outdoor Outlet mall looks really nice, has a good amount of parking, and seemed to follow social distancing guidelines really well. Stopped at the outlets on our way back to southern cali. We were there around 10 am and was not crowded at all. Found parking promptly. Has a good selection of stores. Sales were amazing. Bought 3 pairs of converse shoes for $60! My daughter found a nice top at Aeropostale for $20, and some awesome deals at Coach. Overall, sales were awesome today. Left the outlets with a few armfuls of shopping bags. Best of all, the stores were nicely air conditioned! read more

Great variety of stores and shops. Spotted a restaurant with a bar (and TV screens that would be great for watching sports). Don Perico ? I didn't pay too much attention. Restrooms have several stalls, great because this outlet might be one of the most popular pit stop since it is just before/after the windy roads just off grapevine. Good place for people road tripping and forget some clothing items like a sweater, swim suit, socks, shoes........ purse.... girls always needs more purses for some reason. Nonetheless, you get my point, the world isn't over because you forgot to pack something. During the holidays, I'm sure it will be a great spot to pick up gifts. I bet I would hate shopping here during summer. That's a personal thing though. read more

The selection of shops are limited, the customer service is below satisfactory, and this place is infested with EARWIGS. You cannot get away from these insects, they are flying/crawling all over your car and clothes. I am surprised this place has not been shut down by the health department considering they can cause serious health risks and they do bite people! read more

You would think this place gets packed, but to be honest, it does not. Maybe it was when I had came here, but usually the outlets I am near is always so packed! I loved that it was empty because it allowed me to shop without the craziness of all these people rushing. The deals here are insane. The location must be why there were so many sales and they were trying to get rid of as much as they can, but hey.. It was literally sales on sales on sales. Not those cheap, lame 5% off sales. No, hoodies were like $5 each. I got a pair of really cute leggings at Cotton On for $7. Honestly, where do they do that at? Apparently, here! I am so glad I came here. I always meant to stop by, but I guess I was always so focused on just getting back home I never actually stopped. I left LA a bit early so I could have that extra time to spare. Outlets at Tejon has the usual great stores and a food court. Not too far from our town of Bakersfield, and some smaller towns around highway 99 and the Grapevine portion of interstate 5. Not too busy, and a great place to relax at. A large Indian casino(Hard Rock Casino Tejon) with a 400 room hotel will be built nearby starting next year(2023). I anticipate this outlet will expand, with more outlet stores to accommodate the casino visitors who also love to shop! Better enjoy the quietness of the outlet now as it may not be that way shortly. read more

While going back to the Bay Area from LA, we decided to stop by the outlet and check it out. We were there for 1.5 hours and while going back to our van we noticed our van was half shut and realized we lost all of our luggages. Be careful they said that this crime happened to often in this outlet. Ask for help from the management about CCTV footage see if what happened or they can identify the suspect but no response. So if guys decided to stop by here think twice. This is a theft paradise since most people that shops here are travelers with luggage and suitcases in their cars. read more

Ralph Lauren outlet store review: ok this was my first time visiting the store, I counted at least 7 employees on the floor. The store wasn't busy at all. So I walked in, walked around, and no greeting or assistance because the employees were chatting amongst each other. I select my items for purchase, walk to the check out, and nobody to ring my items up. I waited 5 minutes for assistance, but yet there were employees walking around and did not even communicate that someone would soon assist me. So this employee named Marilyn walks up, does not greet me, and starts ringing up my items. She only tells me my total and asked if I need a receipt. She did not security swipe the items. So I proceed to leave and the door theft alarm goes off. I walk back towards the register and some other person assists me while Lazy Marilyn laughs it off and sounded like a parrot "I could have sworn I swiped it, I could have sworn I swiped the items". So unsatisfactory, Customer service sucks, the staff are lazy, and apparently poor communication between staff. Laziness and poor customer service breeds in this store especially with "lazy" Marilyn. This is a joke. The bottom of the receipt states "we are committed to delivering the same Polo Ralph Lauren experience you have come to appreciate and expect in a new, safe comfortable way". So where are the managers ? Or does lazy Marilyn reflect the managers poor work ethic. Someone needs to be held accountable here! This is a true account of my experience. Finally an outlet close to home! I visited the outlet for back to school shopping for the kids for the first time and I do have to admit, I was quite impressed w the setup. I really liked the whole outdoor mall setup. The landscape was setup really nicely and when you first walk up there's this cute little arch w flowers that make you feel like you're not near Bakersfield. They have a wide variety of brands and stores for all age groups and they have plenty of benches and seatings along the paths if you get tired of walking. The outlet is pretty clean and each store we visited were well organized also. Can't believe how close this place is to home! I definitely want to come back to check out the other stores when I'm not out on a mission for school shopping. Food court was just "okay" to me, the highlight of the food court is definitely "DEWARS", although after we spent lunch there I was too full to enjoy my favorite Red & White, I'll have to make room next time. Kinda complicated to get to the parking lot from the freeway but the roads getting there had gas stations that we needed anyway. How exciting! Outlets only 30 min away from home! I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised by these outlets. 1. Great selection: Banana Republic, J.crew, Gap, Ralph Lauren, CK, Tommy Michael Kors, Coach Kitchen Collection, Pottery Barn, Nike, Reebok, sunglasses, jewelry, baby... The outlets weren't too big nor were they too small. Anything that you need is here. I also noticed that, for example, the Banana Republic had much better selection and newer merchandise compared to the Outlets at Orange. We also found some super great sales!! 2. Location: It's just off of the 5 freeway before it splits into the 99 coming north. Only a small selection in the food court, but Chipotle, Del Taco, Yogurtland, etc are just on the other side of the freeway. Plenty of gas stations and even a hotel! 3. Cleanliness: Granted it's been open only about 2 weeks, but the stores were very orderly and all of the associates super friendly. Just be patient as I could tell some of them were brand new employees. 4. Speaking of cleanliness, the bathrooms were super exquisite. From the tile work to everything touch-free to even there being places to put your shopping bags in the stalls, this outlet did a fantastic job. Bravo! Haha I can't believe I'm complimenting them in the bathrooms... 5. Quietness: Yes, I went today, a Friday, when school is in session (on purpose, might I add haha). It was nice that it wasn't too crazy even though it is Labor Day wknd. Just go on a weekday for fewer problems with parking and lines. 6. Just a warning, be prepared to get a little sun. Not sure why they chose to build coverings over only half of the stores (minus one star for this), but it can get very hot in this area. Bring plenty of water!! Also be careful when sitting on the METAL benches, especially if they are in the sun... 7. Dewar's. If you are not from Bakersfield and have never heard of them, please try one of their candies. They are a Bakersfield treasure and are known for their taffy chews. Of the traditional flavors, I personally like the caramel, peppermint, almond, and peanut in that order. Their ice cream is fantastic too. Please stop by in the food court! All in all, I will definitely return here!!! I have no excuse especially when commuting to/from LA. read more
