Ok.... So while the work was done and they got me back on the road, less than 2500 miles later, I broke down in Virginia Beach. Thinking it was the slave cylinder as I lost the ability to disengage my clutch, it wasn't until I put my bike on my lift, opened the primary to find the bolt on the compensating sprocket loose (could remove it with my fingers) and my clutch basket slides in and out. The last person to touch my primary was the shop at Outpost. So I have attempted to call Nick multiple times with regarding resolution on what I see as failed work. I know, I built my bike and other than HP messing with stuff, the bike was running fine. Was looking for discounts on parts as I would have done the labor, but Nick won't call me back. If you ask me, this is poor business practice. What I thought was a stand up dealership, I now find shady with poor customer relations. My opinion.... Don't do business here, find a better, more reputable dealership that takes care of its customers. I have a video of the shoddy work if anyone is interested, as I have proof. Cheers! read more

A shady and incompetent dealership. Long story short, my Street Glide fell off a maintenance stand so I took it to them. They ordered new fairing, bags, tank & front fender supposedly from HD (to be honest they look like some bad small paint shop did them). After they received & installed the parts I went to pick it up. I inspected the bike and found multiple paint defects and damage that they did while installing the new matte finish parts. When I pointed out the multiple issues - I was told I was being picky, they were done with it, and to leave. I took pictures before I even picked it up. I later found they left parts loose like both front turn signals, left parts off like the fender tabs, were too incompetent to identify other damage, and likely "pinched" wiring harnesses in the front fairing area. Brought my bike in for a cam upgrade and a new pipe and Bluetooth speaker. After picking the bike up I noticed my bars were wobbling so when I got home I checked my riser nuts and they were completely loose and the nut went around a full turn. When I went back to ask about why my risers were loose they denied any wrongdoing. I left at that then when I got the email survey I was honest in my survey well I got a call from the service manager telling me that if I need any more work to go to another dealership. The service manager John is rude and disrespectful. I dropped my bike off last year in October cause someone hit my bike and ran. It was there for almost 5 months. When it came out all they fixed was cosmetic damage. I told them that my bike was sputtering and they didn't fix it. When I came back to tell them, John told me he doesn't care and that they fixed the insurance claim. I said yea it's part of it. Inside and outside of the bike. He told he didn't care and that the bosses would back him up. So I'm filling my complaint here and next with his bosses and the BBB which they have a D- in lol read more

Went to Outpost Harley Davidson Shane helped us out with bike financing. He was professional, personable and easy to work with. Also talked with Eli who was also someone you're going to want to work with over there. Didn't catch the guy's name around the bike seats in parts but went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there was one employee siting by the bikes mainly the CVO in center of room stay clear of that fool. Acted arrogant, thought he was Mr Harley and that he was smarter than everyone. Wouldn't answer questions but instead grabbed phone started texting when I'm asking something what an idiot. I've owned more bikes than this guy has sat on and he is probably the reason I won't buy over there. Too bad one bad employee ruins it for the rest. Cut him loose! Came to get a quote on some work at the service department: install of a Cam chest kit, swap pipes, and install saddlebags, essentially moving up to a stage two, I already have all the parts. Outpost said they won't do a job like that UNLESS you order the parts directly FROM THEM, what kind of scammy scummy shit is that? know that the service advisors get a commission on all the parts they can convince you to buy for the job as well as a commission on the job itself. So essentially the service advisor was trying to force me to spend another 6k on parts (that I already have) but from him (so he could get more commission) instead of being happy that i already had the parts and was about to spend 3 grand +/- in labor alone. I will absolutely never spend a penny at this Stealership. Go to Pikes Peak HD in COS in comparison when I told the Service Advisor at PPHD I had my own parts his response was, "thank fucking god." Still have our bike after over 1.5 mo of pretending to fix it. They claimed the parts were in stock. There is absolutely no communication with me unless I first hunt them down, Which leaves me to wonder if it will be even more broken by their incompetent "mechanics " when we finally get it back.... If we get it back before I'm dead! Summer will be over soon doubt we will even get to ride it to be sure it fixed- does this sound like we're being conned into more repairs next summer to you? Cuz it does to me. On top of it all God only knows what the fools will charge me. The gals behind the desk were very friendly and inviting. However, the salesman was absolute garbage. Full of attitude, ego and false bravado. Completely lacking in basic common courtesies and manners afforded to every human being. No greeting nor introduction. Simply "what do you need?". Upon leaving, not even a goodbye. No "thanks for coming in", or simply "have a good rest of your day". Just the turn of a silent cold shoulder and tough guy walk away as if I had completely just wasted his precious time. I purchased a Tour-Pak with a quick detach Rack online from HD. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong mounting hardware. I called PPHD, but the part number I thought I needed they didn't have. We didn't discuss my mounting issue. So I called Outback at they had the hardware, offering to hold the kit at the cash register. During my purchase, I was discussing my configuration and the parts manager closely reviewed the company parts catalogue and determined the online information was incorrect. He did some cross-referencing to find the hardware solution! I elected NOT to have saddlebags and this isn't a common configuration on touring models, let alone Sportsters. Took the kit home, quickly mounted my luggage and went for a fantastic ride! Each visit to Outback is a treat, they are professional, competent, competitive and friendly! read more

I have been bringing my bike here for service for over a year with mixed results. The first time I had ridden through about 100 miles of rain to get there, and they took great care of me. The next time, I got my bike back leaking gouts of oil. I took it back and was told that the base seal between the engine and the transmission gave out. OK, it was inevitable that seal would give. Seems odd that it would after a service. Most recently, I took my bike in for a 50k service. Got it back with a small, but annoying leak out of the inspection cover. Understand that replacing the seal under that cover is part of EVERY scheduled service on this motorcycle. I took it back to Outpost, and they made good without making me pay. Of course, if they had made me pay, I would be taking my business elsewhere. So, we are on an even keel for now. We'll see how it goes next time. read more

Had to get a service done... everyone recommended to go to Outpost in Pueblo. It is about 30 miles south and 15 miles Carter than the one in the Springs.... They were right... I am in from out of town so I don't have a whole lot of support for rides. As I was waiting on someone to pick me up, one of the staff, Courtney, was overly helpful making sure that I was taken care of and bartered a special deal for a rental to get me back. Definitely recommend stopping in, very clean store and a great Staff... specifically Courtney for looking out for me and Vinny for making it all happen. read more

Do not go to this Harley!! Repairs cost nearly 2000 that were the fault of the dealership. Instead of making amends for shabby mechanics the GM threatens to fire the tech if we take my bike without paying the ill gotten 2000. Hope it was worth it! Working with BBB, and Harley corporate to rectify the situation. Let's see how you'll like being on the Fort Carson restricted list. We just stopped in to buy a shirt on this visit. My boyfriend gets repairs done here though, and has been pleased (price is always crazy high, but if you want it done, you want it done with the name to back up the work). As with most of the apparel departments in HD dealerships, there isn't much help or even an offer to assist. But, the selection was decent and the store was clean so all is good! read more

Donny is the Service Manager and is the best. He was in parts when I purchased my bike and suggested I black it out before that became popular. Now as the Service Manager he takes pride in working with customers honestly without suggesting items to be repaired that are not needing repair. The sales personnel dont attack you when you first walk in, while at the same time do not forget about you to long from walking in the door. If it was possible i would have gave a 0 star review. I purchased a motorcycle back in February and its June and still haven't received my registration paper work. Keep calling and they keep giving me excuses and excuses. They keep telling me "we will call you" and they never do. I have to keep taking time from work to deal with this mess, that is one of 2 issues i had with them. It took them 2 months to pay me my money after they sold a motorcycle on my behalf, and after all that time they short change me. Had to wait 1 more month to get the rest. Calling almost everything to get this fixed. So i have a bike that I can't use without the ugly temp plate. not a good place to do business, sorry guys! you gave me no choice enough is enough. read more

Donny, Kevin and all the gang at Outpost Harley Davidson hooked me up right. I bought my 2005 Dyna Wide Glide there new 11 years ago. I had my 88ci,1450 cc upgraded to a 103ci 1690cc at Outpost. And Man it's the greatest thing since Draft Beer! After Walter did some research on engines he also bumped up to a 103ci and now he's rollin mean too! Took my 2004 Road King to them for oil leak at primary case. They put a gasket on it and said it was done. Not done, still leaked. Took it back and they said the primary case cover was warped. They put new one on and said it was fixed. Not fixed still leaked. Took it back and Don the service manager said he would work on it himself. He called, said it was done and I went to pick it up. Don showed me all the stuff that had been done wrong several years earlier by a bike shop we had to use on one of our trips out west. Major screwup by that bike shop. Don fixed the issues and I feel it is done correctly now. Wish I could give them 2 different ratings. One for the mechanics and one for Don the service manager. Mechanics should know how to trouble shoot an issue and not just throw various parts at it. Bad rating!!! Don, was honest and fixed it properly. Good rating.!!! This past July we needed to have the brakes bled on one of the bikes in our group. Pulled in & explained the problem and the service manager immediately knew the problem. Being from south Louisiana our air bubble grew as did the altitude. "This is very common, won't take but a few minutes let me see when I can squeeze you in". Explaining our timetable and some very funny bantering back and forth, the manager himself pulled the bike in, and bled the brakes right by the front desk. While waiting their coke machine took our money. We were quite entertained by all of the parts employees joking about us tearing everything up. Not only did they refund our money and give us a drink. When we got ready to leave there was an extra drink laying on the seat of each or our bikes. This was my second visit to this particular dealership. They don't have a huge inventory, but their big hearts and hearty friendship makes it worth a visit. I got a flat in Trinidad CO on a Sunday. Had my bike towed to Pueblo to their shop since they were the largest in town. Monday morning I did find they had a tire that fit. Yeah! But wouldn't put it on because of "liability concerns" since it wasn't speed rated for my "sport bike". My "sport bike" is a Kawaisaki Versys, an adventure touring bike. I expect they just didn't want to help a guy out and put a wrench to something that wasn't a Harley, even just to install a tire. So I had to rent a Uhaul truck for twice the cost of a non-speed rated tire to get my bike back to Denver. read more

These guys are awesome. I had a flat tire on my trip in from Nashville TN and limped in to their shop. It was late and by phone they said it would be the next day before they had a lift open. Donny Gates took care of me. He got me in that afternoon, changed the tire, the rear brake pads, found a bolt for a shifter peg I couldn't find in Nashville, and recommended an awesome campground in La Veta. 5 star service and terrific people. read more

We drove on I-25 a couple of times in the past noticing this dealership and wanted to stop in to check it out as we do most Harley dealerships. Finally, got the chance last week to do so. We had our Rottie (named Harley) with us. Upon entering, we were told that pets are not allowed in their store. The employees there gave us the cold shoulder. This was a first and a surprise from a Harley dealership, that we just turned around and walked out. We never experienced this in any other Harley dealership. This Outpost Harley is cold, unfriendly and will never go there again. They don't deserve even a one-star rating. read more
