So .... I had an interesting week. I had an ischemic stroke. I had no idea I had a stroke until I went to the ER but was experiencing some mild symptoms like slurred speech, left side of my face drooping a little and slight disorientation. Out of precaution, I called my primary care (at another hospital) and spoke to a nurse and she urged me to go to the ER. So I went to the closest ER to me which was Overlake. I actually have a bit of history with Overlake prior to this visit. I volunteered here 25 years ago when I was in high school and we also had my daughter here 12 years ago. I am only 43 years old and super skinny, so I do not look like a typical stroke candidate. When I pulled up to ER the staff looked a bit puzzled but instead of making me wait, they got me to a room immediately and the doctors and nurses started coming in to run various things they had to run. I ended getting both MRI and CT Scan and rh results came out super quick. Shorter than an hour. Impressive! Then even more doctors and nurses started visiting me letting me know that I had a pretty see severe stroke within the last 7 days. They ran a bunch of tests and ultrasounds to figure out what might have been the cause since my numbers are very very good. One of the ultrasound confirmed that I have a PFO (a little hole in the heart that could have passed thru blood clots rher traveled to the right side of the brain. Apparently Hailey Bieber has a stroke from this same issue a few years back. While we do not know for sure, the doctors here came up with a bunch of hypothesis after seeing various tests and scan results and formulated follow up plans for me. I eventually was admitted to the 4th floor of the hospital and had to spend a night there. The Facility was quite comfortable and the nurses and tech staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Also the food was not bad! Lots of healthy and not-so-healthy options. I remember 12 years ago when we had our daughter here, the food menu used to be extremely unhealthy. They have upgraded a big time. I am not sure what is ahead of my journey from here but I feel comfortable and confident with overlake that they will take care of me. I hope noone has to go thru what I had to go thru but if you have to, I couldn't recommend overlake hospital more. read more

My husband has had three extended stays at this hospital. And because of these stays, I've become pretty familiar with the hospital - although I'm not sure how positive that is. The hospital has always done an excellent job ensuring that he is treated for all medical issues. The team of doctors, surgeons, nurses and techs we have worked with have all been highly skilled. His patient care here is typically above exceptional. To address certain concerns, specialists have always been brought in to access and provide the correct care. Our interactions with all doctors and surgeons here have been 5 star. The nurses are compassionate and caring, ensuring the proper care for my husband during many of his extended stays in the hospital. We have been blessed with quite a few standout individuals for my husband's care. Enough that I nominated a couple for recognition. Sure there may be a few interactions with a tech or a nurse that isn't as exceptional as you would want it to be. I remember one time when coming back to the hospital, I walked in hot because I was upset about my husband's care but the nurse didn't hold it against me and instead made sure that going forward, we didn't have the same issues. During each stay, I stayed with my husband all day. I was often there a little before 7 am when visiting hours started but no one ever made me feel unwelcome. And if there was a time I stayed past 9pm, I just spoke to nurse and communicated when I would be leaving and it typically wasn't an issue. While at the hospital with my husband, everyone always asked me about my needs as well. The care and support extended to me as well and that was amazing. We've used Emergency Room Services, stayed on floors 4 & 5 in building 1, the cardiologist team in building 3, primary care in building five and more. The consensus across the board is that patient care is very important. There isn't another hospital that I would ever choose to send my husband to. If you don't know, this is a non-profit hospital, so there are resources to help if financial aid is needed. We did utilize financials services and getting the direction and guidance to get this help was easy and effective. read more

I went in to have to have a stent and ended up with a full bypass that took 10 hours. Waking up, I had tubes down my throat and could not communicate. I tried to ask for more blankets by writing on a clipboard. The ICU Nurse pulled the clipboard from my hand and tied me to the bed. This was incredibly painful because they fill you up with fluid to easily access the heart and arteries. She also forced me to sit a half hour longer with tubes down my throat. The surgeon wanted to send me home while still draining fluid out of the chest cavity. I would've had to commute two hours on 405round-trip to this hospital. I still have blockage in the heart and backflow by the valve. read more

TL/DR: Went in with questions about a potential parasite; left with a half measured diagnosis for a highly stigmatized condition that can impact your ability to be taken seriously by doctors in the future and can make obtaining life insurance challenging. My Mom (retired) and Aunt (Mayo Clinic) are both OBGYNs, my Sister is a Psychiatrist, my Brother and his Husband, are both RNs, and lastly another Sister who is a Physicians Assistant. That's just my immediate family. Im saying this because I have multiple channels from which I can obtain good insight. This is long and probably annoying. I don't care. We are very lucky in the PNW to have some of the nations best providers, medical tech, research, hospitals etc. that said, don't assume everyone has your best interest. When you're done explaining your symptoms to your doctor and they accompany their disinterest in your grief with a cocked eyebrow and a condescending "Hah, you know you're in an emergency room, right?" Just leave. Seriously, if you're not bleeding out, try somewhere else tomorrow. If my decision to go an emergency room was uninformed, I'll own that! My mistake. But, don't make me feel stupid for being there. There's no manual you're given on how to navigate all this. I chose the organization you represent for its reputation and for the quality of care I've received in the past. I thought I might have parasites, it came up during a session with my psychiatrist of 7 years. I sent him a photo I had taken and he said I should get checked out, probably sooner than later, so I did. I tried to show the doctor photos but, that's paranoid behavior, now? Sorry that I can't unzip my abdomen and let you have at it but, I thought it would be helpful? Who knows! I wasn't convinced I had parasites. Based on the photos I took of what came out of me; Google images thought I might, my psychiatrist thought I might, I thought I might. Frankly, I would have been ecstatic to have heard the words "you're mistaken; it's actually this." "Oh wonderful, because the idea of having them is mortifying, I am so happy I was wrong." I also have accompanying symptoms. A lot of them. She didn't engage with me on one. Not like a "oh tell me more about that." Nothing. She got real interested when I said I used a pimple popper on zit I had on my arm?' Apparently, that's self harm...OK. They said I tested positive for cocaine. In my head I was like "hahah, cocaine?! It's been YEARS since I heard that one!" I'd have no trouble admitting to using cocaine. Even though Labor Day weekend was wrapping up. I didn't use cocaine. What can I do? It's foolish to think speaking up for yourself is helpful, it just makes you look worse. It was obvious there was nothing I could say, or do, that would allow me to receive the type of care that wasn't contemptuous, judgemental, assumptive. Here comes the part that felt like I was being charged with a crime. It was so insulting, I couldn't believe that Dr. Ansari (A DOCTOR) couldn't be bothered to present her conclusions/diagnosis, to me? Seriously? One of her nurses just barged in and said "Okay, you're free to go thanks byye!" As I'm being ushered out I see on the diagnosis "Ekboms Delusional Parasitosis? I'm sorry, WHAT?!" I turned right around and requested it be removed, it's not only incorrect, I didn't want this anywhere on my chart. It's heavily stigmatized and can make life difficult for you in a lot of ways. People with Ekboms are those who think they have bugs underneath their skin, they have lesions from trying to carve them out, they will not take "no" for an answer. Their belief of infestation is deeply rooted and unwavering. It's a really messed up disorder and not one that can be diagnosed in the same manner that someone slaps a post-it note on your back saying "kick me!". A suspicion is not a belief! There was no formal psychiatric evaluation, no consultation from a psychiatrist or psychologist, no probing questions, nothing. I even said to her, if you don't think it's parasitic, then please let's find out what it is! To this day, on my MyChart, I have the results from the bloodwork and samples I gave; she said she found no parasites were found. Wonderful, what is it then? Oddly, You can make someone feel really judged, pretty low and, stupid. When it comes to the part that really helps; it's "yeah, I'll skip that." I'm not saying she's a bad doctor. I'm not ignorant or, egotistical enough to make that claim. But this is experience was bullshit. read more

Really smart to starve an 87 pound woman for nearly 24 hours. I've been to other hospitals and this is a nightmare scenario. They almost killed me, but they pulled it up at some point, but then they dropped the bag again and I had sepsis two more times because of their negligence. This was a nightmare. I was traumatized for months afterwards, as I was trying to deal with repeat bouts of sepsis. I can only summit up in that it feels like a prison with more steps and you have to pay for it. There were some really nasty nurses there as well. There were some great nurses. You expect that some of the nurses will be great. You don't expect that. Some of the nurses will be truly not caring if you live or die. They also have some truly incompetent nurses assistance, which surprise me at how little the man understood given that we were both speaking English as a native language, but they also had a really great LVN who was super sharp who I hope one day becomes RN or a doctor because really, really sharp read more

Slowest hospital. They'll charge you $75 for being late but will always keep you waiting. If you want to call the doctor's office to let them know you might be late, you will be first in queue on the call but will sit for 20 minutes without talking to someone (probably longer but I had to hang up at that point). Diana Bang was extremely flippant, condescending, and dismissive of my husband's concerns and pain and for whatever reason completely unwilling to order any diagnostic imaging or even simple bloodwork. Would only dismissively and adversarially tell my husband to take medication without doing any diagnostic work to determine if that is even the medicine he actually needs. This was his first time even seeing her and she was essentially just throwing drugs at him and telling him he needs to shut up and take them, even if they have nothing to do with his ailment. Did not pay any attention to anything my husband said and then she literally got up in the middle of the appointment, left the room, didn't say where she was going, and then never came back. He was just sitting there for **several** minutes expecting her to come back from wherever she disappeared to, and then she **never** came back. Truly bizarre and unprofessional. We will need to find an actual competent physician because seeing Diana Bang was a complete waste of time, and honestly actively a deterrent to making any progress on my husband's health concerns. I also look forward to being charged however many hundreds of dollars for this absolute joke of an appointment. I highly recommend insisting on scheduling an appointment with someone else, literally anyone else, if you have the misfortune of getting scheduled with Diana Bang. They only seemed interested in doing a cat scan after which they released me while my teeth were on the verge of falling out and still bleeding profusely. read more

I fell, broke my arm and was takingby ambulance to overlake. I was immediately taken into a room , cared for by the nurses and seen by the ER doctor. My care was excellent. I was referred to a doctor Magnussen who I saw a week later. I subsequently had to get a rod put in my arm, so it would heal straight. The entire surgical staff, doctor and nurses, were very caring and competent. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Despite reading negative reviews on various sites such as Google and Yelp, I decided to give Overlake a try for a second opinion on my medical care. I recall reading numerous accounts of billing issues pertaining specifically to this hospital group and corresponding clinics, but I thought maybe those were flukes. It took a while to get through to the proper department on the phone, but I was finally able to make an appointment for about a month from the original date that I called. On the morning of my appointment, I arrived early as I figured I was likely the first appointment of the day and didn't want to cause the office to get backlogged. They ended up seeing me late anyway. The person who took my vitals was neither caring nor friendly. When I finally saw the doctor, she did a brief exam (roughly 5 minutes or less) and then left the room promising to return shortly. I waited a good 20 minutes before she returned. She gave me her opinion based on her brief examination and told me to think for the next 3-4 weeks about if I wanted a procedure done or not and sent me on my way. When the bill arrived about 3 weeks later, the office billed me for my copay of $40 in addition to a "procedure" with a new total of $150. I thought this was odd, as I had seen one doctor from Polyclinic for a first opinion on the matter a month prior ($40 copay for the office visit), and then another doctor from Swedish for a third opinion ($40 copay for the office visit) only a few weeks after the Overlake visit. Each visit entailed the same basic questions and initial table examination with a brief follow-up discussion, yet the visit with the doctor at Overlake was billed at a much higher rate. I wrote several messages to the office, called and spoke with two different people who said they would call me back (they have not yet done so after 12 days), and then received a message in the myChart app today from someone in the office saying she reviewed the bill and it was correct. There is something going terribly wrong at Overlake if this many people have now had issues with being overcharged by the doctors and/or billing departments within this network when they are "in-network" providers. It is enough to make me never seek care from this medical group again and to warn everyone else to avoid them as well. I am typically very trusting of doctors, but this visit has left me very wary. Had I not had a basis for comparison from other in-network providers, I might not have even thought to question the odd additional charge in my EOB. I will update this review if I hear back from anyone with an explanation of why I have been grossly overcharged. read more

I'm solely speaking on the Labor and Delivery unit alone when writing about my stay, Al of the L&D nurses upstairs were amazing and made my stay so comfortable. 20 stars to them!!! However my one complaint would be the recovery nurses as well as lactation consultants. They came off as aggressive and extremely judgy and pushy. I had a separate experience with lactation outside of this hospital and it completely changed a lot of things and was extremely helpful. If you have that lactation consultant named Victoria I believe (older lady) good luck! She's rude and judgmental, as a first time mom she could have came in with compassion but she was extremely disrespectful and made me quite literally feel like a failure. My recovery process could have been a lot better with a little bit of compassion. 3 stars for them. ZERO stars for billing they have messed up my bill 4 times. I qualified for financial aid after my insurance and aid my bill off in full in January 2025. Shows on the app it was settled. Now all of the sudden in April 2025 I'm "past due" $2,600!! Response from billing "we have no idea why you have a bill must be your insurance contact them but pay us" uhhhhh???? If I owe you, you should be able to tell me why. I'm disputing it but they quite literally make it impossible so you hopefully just give up and pay. Over all it's a really great hospital to give birth in, if you get different recovery nurses and a different lactation consultant you will probably have a full 10/10 star experience. read more

It's me, HI, I'm the problem it's me! Hahaha Okay, but seriously I need to stop hurting myself. This week 10/16-10/20 I had to come to the hospital for two reasons. 1. I fell and broke my ankle and foot. Seriously - just my luck. My service and quality of care was amazing other than the male nurse that wasn't careful of said broken foot and banged it on a chair while pushing my wheelchair in the lobby. 2. I had an eye surgery that was a success. I haven't been able to close my eye for 5 months due to facial paralysis. Thankfully modern medicine has solutions for that and I was able to get an eyelid weight so I could close my eye again. I immediately had a black eye, BUT it closes again. Yay no more dry eye. While I'd rather not see staff I remember from previous hospitalizations under these circumstances, it is nice to see familiar faces and catch up. All in all this week my care was top notch and I'm grateful for your help. Hopefully I don't have to return for a long time. *knock on wood* read more

Good medical care can sometimes be difficult to find. My parents were fortunate that my brother took them to Overlake Medical Center, where both were very satisfied with the care they received. They expressed that it was much better than the hospital down by Renton, and even better than the good hospitals that they have been to in Las Vegas. . Went here over a year ago to treat an injury I had playing a basketball game for a local amateur rec league, biggest mistake ever bc I'm still paying off the medical bill *(s/o our healthcare system, jk we don't have universal healthcare, will forever be adamant about not having that). For context really thought I broke a bone in my right foot, felt like a rock hit the bottom of my foot but where the heck would a rock come from in the gym. Instantly started limping, but that game we only had 4 including me so for the whole game I had to truck it out, which definitely added to the injury. (Ironically that was one of my best games that szn, humble brag, something light). Anyway went here and the whole time it felt like I was like a customer, not a patient. Come in. Get your service. Get out. Really should have just went straight home and iced my foot for an extended amount of time til healed. Found out a tendon tore, but they made me go to other specialized hospitals for some reason = adding on the bill, which was so extra with this small of an injury. I just went with the flow, which was stupid of me knowing what I know. I hate how capitalistic sometimes health services are, everything is based on profit rather than the actual care, healing, and treatment of a person. For anybody reading this review, if you ever get a compared injury like this in the slightest - go to a walk-in clinic, or give it a day. If the pain is still consistent, yes get that checked out. I was recommended to Overlake for a bariatric surgeon by the name of Thien Nguyen, MD hoping to find out what my issues are and find a way to solve them. He is uncaring, rude and doesn't care about the physical pain I am going through. He actually was more concerned about my BMI then concerned about my health issue. I have a 7 point difference in my BMI what is optimal for my height and weight. He did not listen to what I had to say and very uncaring!!! If you are referred to this Doctor run the opposite direction!!! If no stars were an option he would be negative 100 stars. read more

The doctors at Overlake caught a tumor and resected it. The staff, nurses, and doctors are wonderful. With such a big surgery, it is normal to feel nervous but they did a terrific job at making sure we understood what was going to happen. There was a little hiccup with the scheduling though. We were told one time, but was expected an hour before so they expedited us into the OR. Perhaps the departments involved didn't clearly communicate with one another? The doctors are great. Some doctors are more responsive than others though. Dr. Manhas and his team is simply superb. The nurse was so nice and gave some crackers and quick food for me since we skipped breakfast and it took a while to prep. There is only garage parking that I am aware of. Being that I'm a nervous driver, it didn't make me to happy to hear that. Parking is free up to 1.5 hours. I like that the name the floors after animals because it's a lot easier to remember names than numbers. The layout of the hospital is a little confusing also but there are maps around the building. Remember to note the building number. They are doing some remodeling so you may see plastic tarp around the area. I also hear good things about their ob/gyn and maternity ward but didn't get a chance to go there for that reason. read more

- This is based on my experience at Outpatient surgery department - I had a surgery at the outpatient surgery department and I have to say everyone there helped me ease the discomfort and nervousness. On top of the regular clothing for surgery, they also provided socks and leg massagers to make sure my legs have good circulation when I'm in anesthesia. Jennifer was very kind to me as well and we chatted when we were waiting for the doctor. She was very warm and made me feel very safe. They also provided a snack and a drink (you can pick) after surgery as well. They even called a volunteer to wheel me out to the parking lot, which was a bit weird as the volunteer is much older than I am and I felt bad. Overall I had a good experience there, but it's a hospital after all so I hope I won't be there again :P read more

To really understand how bad Overlake is, you need to be my sister. Right now she's resting, due to the 12-centimeter growth in her abdomen that may or may not be cancerous, after having been sent home by Overlake for the second time in 2 weeks when her scheduled surgery was "bumped" yesterday. I arrived in Bellevue for what I thought would be a long holiday weekend on 7/1 and I'm still here, because after what Overlake has done to my sister, she needs a primary caregiver. But what she's going through now started with Overlake staff and surgeons failing to treat her more than a year ago. The growth in my sister's abdomen was diagnosed in late spring 2020 by an Overlake OB-GYN. He operated on her early last summer. When he could not find the mass, that doctor LEFT MY SISTER ON THE OPERATING TABLE, went to find her 21-year-old son, and asked for his consent to remove her Fallopian tubes instead. So the first thing you need to know is that if there's something in you that measures less than inch, an Overlake surgeon will not be able to see it. That surgeon also told my sister she needed a GI consult. The gastroenterologist who performed a biopsy on my sister in late summer 2020 gave her C-diff. I won't describe what this frightening disease is or what it does, but my sister could not keep food down for almost 6 months, lost over 10 pounds, and finally needed a fecal transplant. When my sister was in pain from what's now a massive growth on July 1 of this year, we took her to the Overlake ER. (It's closest, she said. They know my medical history, she said.) The Overlake staff admitted her, told her repeatedly they were assembling a "care team," then released her after making and breaking promises to her for 48 hours. In the meantime, they had moved a woman who was very ill into my sister's room with her. Their instructions to my sister? You'll need to get yourself on the schedule for surgery. Start calling. As my brother remarked, this approach is odd. It's as if your flight gets cancelled, and instead of booking you on a new one, the airline says: here are the phone numbers of 5 pilots. Start calling. See if one of them has time to fly you home. Reminder: at this point my sister is in constant pain, and now she's high on the pain meds Overlake gave her. She's a single mom with a full-time job. What happens to her if I can't extend my stay? How many families, how many lives does Overlake Hospital regularly destroy with its incompetence? Speaking of incompetence, let's discuss what I saw in the hours I spent waiting with my sister before she was bumped from the surgery schedule at Overlake yesterday: * a med tech who forgot she'd taken my sister's temperature 5 minutes after she took it, and pulled down her mask to talk to us * a nurse who could not spell our names or read numbers written down on paper * a full garbage can in my sister's pre-op room, left by whoever occupied the room before us (keep in mind that the people in this pre-op area have cancer; their immune systems are compromised) * when my sister went into the attached bathroom to change just before we were kicked out, there was an uncollected bloody urine sample in the toilet (again: immune compromised patients use these rooms prior to their surgeries) This is a long story, but if you're reading it, you need to know you have other choices in the Seattle area. Overlake Hospital pours money into polished floors, fancy wall treatments, and birthing suites while giving the most critical patients urgent-care-level service. The patient my sister's surgeon worked on all day yesterday had advanced ovarian cancer that had metastasized, and I can't help thinking how the misdiagnoses and delays that are just everyday occurrences at Overlake contributed to the horror of her situation. If you care about your body or love someone who needs care, don't go here. Go to UW. Go literally anywhere other than Overlake Hospital. You have more to lose than you think. read more

Have had great results and the coordination of everything through my PCP is just great. MyChart, their online system is great for making appts, asking your Dr a question, or getting prescriptions renewed. All your test results are posted there also for quick look-up. I was there for a very simple procedure that is still considered "surgical". It was a non invasive knee manipulation. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a medical facility in my 75 years. Horrible and a real nightmare. I had three "wrist bands" that had important information including my hard of hearing - particularly on the left side. They were not looked at by the many people who came and went and handled me. They were incompetent. It took three different people to place an IV in my arm and it was the most painful experience of that kind I have had in my 75 years. The arm they gave up on is still black and blue, painful and I am monitoring it for infection. Later, I spent hours in the recovery area when it was only supposed to be a few minutes. (we asked a number of doctors about this at that time.) This hospital gets an F- grade on communication as they kept me and my wife in the dark until I got demanding of the truth with them and they would mumble something about held up for paperwork. It was horrible laying there. I believe they have nice people who either are unable to perform important processes OR (as we witnessed) processes are ignored and bungled. Their lack of processes and people who are competent was scary. I will never go back there and would urge people to go elsewhere, even if that means using a different doctor who is aligned with a different hospital. I had an elective procedure done here in December of last year and I was really impressed with the level of care from start to finish. A few days prior to my procedure date, I was contacted and they requested I come in for a covid test. It was pretty inconvenient considering my surgery was only a couple days away and their hours did not coordinate with my work schedule. I wasn't given any advance notice to request time off but the person calling managed to swing me in first thing in the morning so I could still make it to work on time which was very much appreciated. I was called by three separate individuals the day before the review pre-op instructions and other details. My check-in the morning of was easy and everyone was friendly and kind. My room where I was being prepped was very secluded and private and even had a bathroom attached to it. They got my IV started without any trouble and then offered me a heated air blanket to warm me up while I waited, it was literally heaven. The anesthesiologist and my physician both came in and chatted with me and before I knew it I was back in the room and everything was over and a very kind RN was reviewing post operative instructions with me and got me safely to my ride. The anesthesiologist even called a few days later to check in on me and see how I was recovering. Overall excellent care and a very nice facility. read more

Type type of care (radiology, endoscopy treatment for pneumonia, for edema, follow up checks,. When the treatment wasn't working, they tried really hard to figure out why by day I mean, doctors nurses staff. I've been to another hospital closer to me when I had a dislocated shoulder going forward Overlake medical is my go to hospital. read more

I'm not going to claim to be able to render judgement over an entire hospital's worth of doctors, nurses and staff. But, in my opinion, it's worth staying away from Overlake for their billing practices alone. Years ago at one of their clinics, they added a late fee to my session without notifying me. I don't believe I was ever late, but even if I was, what followed would not be acceptable. They pushed it out to collections before I knew about it. No-one ever contacted me and I didn't get mail about it. Further, I had paid my normal fee for the session while I was there, and was never told about a late fee. The bill they sent to collections was *only* for the late fee. I even had a followup session where I again paid my copay and was not told about a balance. The first I learned of the medical collections bill was when I discovered it on my credit. I immediately called them. It was impossible to get through to their billing department and they were generally dismissive and awful to me, saying their policies meant nothing could be done. I also called the collections group, which had not contacted me, and they too said they could do nothing without consent of Overlake. I eventually gave up and just swore I would never go back. I write about this today because of the new medical billing policies that went into place taking these kind of things off everyone's credit. When they hit, my FICO credit jumped around 30 points. This is shocking to me, as it was the only medical collections item on my credit -- I've reviewed it. Imagine how much this has cost me over the years! I accept that none of these big hospitals are great and they all screw people over. But, I've dealt with more than one, and based on this experience I'll never go back to Overlake. read more

Came into their ER on an Emergency case. It totally defeated the purpose for getting timely help as they kept us waiting in the public sitting lounge for almost 3 hours. That is an outrageous amount of time for a patient to be waiting, especially when they are in serious pain. That was the purpose of coming into an ER but this was managed in a terrible manner. Won't be coming back here again on our own will. read more

The Doctors at the ER and the Overlake medical center are the best. They offered great service. I am touched by their service attitude. I would like to give a shout out to the non-technical staff, the admin, the management. Everyone was sweet on the floor. They all served with a smile. I have gratitude for all the service minded staff I met here. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Overlake for the exceptional care my family members received/and still receiving during her admissions. From the moment my family member arrived, the staff demonstrated professionalism, care, compassion, and dedication that went above and beyond my expectations. The nurses were attentive and kind, checking on my family member regularly and taking time to answer all my questions. Dr. Chiou ( Dr. Georgene Chiou, MD) explained my family member's treatment clearly and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the process. The facility was super clean and well-maintained, and despite what I know must have been a busy day, every staff member I encountered was patient and caring. I could sense that every minute and throughout our stay. This level of service made a difficult time much more manageable, and I'm truly grateful for the outstanding care provided by the entire team at Overlake. The Free coffee and filtered water on the floor for visiting family - simply a great bonus. The food served by the kitchen was nutritious. The staff is awesome. Areas are all clean. Rooms are large equipped with everything you need. Most have bathrooms in them munchies are limited. We were on the fourth and the fifth floor big change from the staffing. read more

Dr. Alhusseini is absolutely horrible and should not be employed in any health "care" field. It is clear he does not care about patients in the least. He has no empathy for people needing care and should be fired and find a new line of work. The rest of the overlake staff and especially the nurses are top notch. Thank you read more

The doctors and staff were incredibly nice and patient as I had a pretty violent sickness. Highly recommend and not just urgent care, for primary as well. read more
