Took my daughter in as she had a soccer injury and we are from PDX. Staff and Doctors were very good. I recommend them.

My husband threw out his back and was in agonizing pain and couldn't really move, so I took him first to Evergreen ER which was a 1.

I have been able to leave & receive messages from my Primary Care Provider (PCP). I have also been able to get a travel prescription based on my recent health visit, without having to do a new appointment! Occasionally I have used other providers here, and it has all been good. I feel that during my annual wellness visit we get in as much as possible. The annual reminders from my PCP about good health practices have been very useful. Example: Years ago she told me that the studies suggesting that a glass of wine a day was good for you were all sponsored by the industry and not reliable. This year the New York Times confirmed that those studies were flawed. The space is big, open, carefully designed, and pleasantly decorated, in case that matters for you. LabCorp has a location here, but you can get your blood drawn at any of their facilities. If you come early in the morning to do a fasting blood draw there can be a bit of a wait because so many people have not eaten since overnight and need a fasting blood draw.

I was bleeding from my head (if you don't know it yet, a head wound is a bleeder for a long time). So I elected to pay out of pocket and go to Evergreen for stitches. When it was time to remove the stitches, I called Evergreen in advance to ask them how much it would cost to remove them at Evergreen or if I should go to Kaiser with a $20 copay. The representative on the phone told me that stitch removal was a part of the $570 I paid out of pocket. Then I got a bill from Evergreen saying I owed $146 for stitch removal. This is a disgusting practice and Evergreen should be ashamed of themselves. When I escalated the matter, even though calls were recorded to prove what I was told, the insisted I pay the bill (which I did today). I would not trust this company and I will never work with them again. I will pay for a taxi vs dealing with BS like this.

I need to write this review so that no other mom-to-be ever has to go through the horrific and…read moretraumatic experience we went through. I initially chose midwifery care because my sister-in-law said that midwives are supposed to be advocates for moms and tend to be more patient, empathetic and understanding, however that was NOT the case with Evergreen Midwifery. From my first appointment they were already pressuring me to cancel my OBGYN appointments even though I wanted to evaluate both before making a decision because they said "we can take better care of you" . Yet, at my 12-week appointment which was supposed to be a huge milestone, the midwife only let us hear the baby's heartbeat via a Doppler and said "everything's fine, see you at 16 weeks" and tried to send us home after a brief 15-minute appointment. I was confused as patients are typically offered NT scans at 12 weeks but the midwife refused, saying I "didn't need one". In the end I called my OBGYN who kindly squeezed me in for a last minute appointment and the ultrasound showed that the baby had a medical condition that needed urgent diagnosis and care. Evergreen Midwifery completely FAILED in their standard of care and could have put us in a very dangerous and precarious position given their negligence in offering a 12-week NT scan. They did not offer any sincere apology or follow-up for their horrible mistake even though the manager Kelly promised to call us back to review the case (Spoiler: She did not! They simply do not keep their promises.) We transferred care back to my OBGYN and have received much better care from ACTUAL trained medical experts and doctors there. If you're a first-time mom or just need greater peace of mind during your pregnancy, please PLEASE save yourself the anxiety, frustration and heartache by sticking with your OB practice instead. You will be glad you did.

I went into Swedish Bellevue Primary Care today because it was on the list of the places that my…read moredoctor had recommended for me to get my blood drawn. It was a bit confusing to me when I arrived at the elevator on the P (Parking) Level to see only medical offices in the C building listed on the sign by the elevator, when I needed to go to the B building. However, I took the elevator up to the C level hoping that I would be able to find the B building from the C building (I didn't know at first if they were different buildings or different floors actually, but they are different buildings), and it was quite straightforward from there. I walked down the long hall of the C building after exiting the elevator, walked out the door to the outside at the end of the hallway, and spotted the B building right across from me. The receptionist was very nice, and she directed me to the Lab. The first Lab guy seemed worried when he first took a look at my veins. My veins are hard to find. Just like the first phlebotomist at Swedish Redmond almost 2 weeks ago, he called a colleague over to take a look at my veins to see if she might be able to find a good vein to do a blood draw. His colleague was the fourth phlebotomist to take a look at my veins in the last 2 weeks! My wonderful yelp-friend Joy had suggested to me to request a butterfly needle after my previous experience with an unsuccessful blood draw, so I did request that (thanks, Joy!) and thankfully they had a butterfly needle there at the lab today, and they agreed to use that type of needle for my blood draw. Brooke asked me to clench and unclench my fists, and she applied the hot compress to my arm, just like the phlebotomists did almost 2 weeks ago. Brooke was very sweet and kind. I told her about my experience almost 2 weeks ago, and she said that she was sorry that I had a bad experience. She asked me, "Did he (the phlebotomist almost 2 weeks ago) at least apologize?" I said yes, he did apologize, and that I had accepted his apology. I explained to Brooke that I can't stand to see blood, and she was very compassionate about this in her tone and demeanor. She told me to look away at the right time so that I didn't see any blood during my blood draw, and she got a successful blood draw from me on her first try! Yay Brooke! When Brooke asked me to confirm that my name on the vial of blood was correct, she thoughtfully covered both ends of the vial with her hands so that I did not even have to see the blood inside the vial. I was impressed. I thought that she was really going above and beyond to be considerate to me. I told her that I have several friends and family members in the medical profession (two of my closest friends in college and one of my closest friends in high school are doctors now, my Brother is a Flight Nurse on a helicopter, and there are several others), but that I never could have gone into the medical profession myself. (I formerly worked as a Legal Assistant at a Class Action Law Firm which handled both national and international civil rights, human rights, and environmental protection cases. The legal field was much more suited for me.) I am so relieved and so thankful that I finally got a successful blood draw today, so that my doctor can get the results of the tests that he wanted to do. I would not hesitate to return to Swedish Bellevue Primary Care for any of my future medical needs. I am very happy with my experience there today.

I have also NEVER EVER had a problem with anything financial related to any of my care over the last ten years. Evergreen Hospital is solid. I especially highly recommend the hospital doctors that saved my life when I suffered acute respiratory failure with hypoxia. Here are reviews of two doctors that really made a difference in my health. Very very impressed with both Dr. Young and Dr. Picazo, who both work in pulmonology critical care. I met them both at the end of my hospital stay after I had initially been admitted to the ICU during a frightening, truly life-or-death medical crisis. Both doctors were knowledgeable, professional, and clearly highly talented physicians. Despite their obvious expertise, what stood out most was how personable, compassionate, and down-to-earth they both were. Both doctors surprised me with how relatable they were. I felt relieved and comfortable asking questions during an extremely stressful time. I would recommend Evergreen Health to any and all looking for expert, compassionate and affordable care. He explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushed, and spent a generous amount of time discussing my care and concerns with me. I deeply appreciated both his medical expertise and his genuine kindness. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Picazo to anyone seeking outstanding pulmonary and critical care treatment.
