After calling them, I drove from Star and met Matt who happened to be the owner. What a great guy. He took my rifle and got right to fixing it. Within less than 10 minutes, it was fixed and paid for. He really gave me a fantastic service and quality that I know I couldn't get anywhere else. Very fun to talk to. He was real engaging with the kids that I brought with me. The cost was a lot cheaper than other places I called. It wasn't only about being a good value. It was about the interaction with Matt and the others that worked there. I hadn't seen quite a selection of guns anywhere in the valley. For all my needs, I'm gonna start going there because of the way I was treated. Matt was great to deal with. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer my questions and being fairly new to shooting I had a lot of them. He wasn't condescending, didn't talk down to me or treat me like I'm stupid because I don't yet know everything there is to know about guns and ammunition. The 2-3 other stores I went to before here were rude and acted like I was an inconvenience because I did have a few questions I'm sure they considered dumb. I looked at different ratings on stores and this one had such great reviews I checked it out and walked out with a revolver. I metal detect and can easily be in mountain lion territory. They are beautiful creatures and I hope to never use the gun but I don't want to be an appetizer. Matt and his wife were amazing! There was no high pressure sales pitch but rather spent time making sure I would have the gun to fit my needs. They also give a law enforcement or military discount so I know I got a great deal!
