This store just rocks. Not going to lie, when I originally saw the name I think it was going to a poke shop. I was a bit disappointed but then I walked into the magical purveyor of Colorado decor and that feeling went away quickly. They have home decor, jewelry, clothes and other goodies. Their art work is charming and I wish I had more money in the bank to buy it all! Great local store to stop by when in Steamboat!

They have a variety of items from sweatshirts, purses, necklaces and other accessories. I found very fun hats there and good quality coats. I do want to mention that Dejavu are donated items that are of a higher quality that are donated to Goodwill so a little disappoint seeing how high the prices are. Most of the fur coats were about $1,000 if not higher. The service was professional and quick- I did not end up getting anything because felt it was highly priced (only thing I liked were a pair of sunglasses that were $200) but as it's in a mountain town I can understand the need for the higher prices. Overall a fun boutique to browse while in town!

They carry the cutest clothing for very reasonable prices. This year I bought 2 sweaters, 1 vest, and 1 long-sleeved shirt for $130 (taxes included). Amazing! The shirt was only $15! The same shirt at Free People would have been about $50. Go, Chrysalis! I'll see you next year:).

During our visit, the owner was very accommodating to pull items from the window display for us, despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon. Thought we'd try another ski rental company and had read good reviews. My experience wasn't good…read more We rented 3 sets of skis/boots/poles. Reserved it online, but the price was higher when we got there, I asked about the rate I had reserved it at (and had digital receipt). The checkin guy was friendly and said the system wasn't updating, and it'll be right when we check out. It wasn't, it was about $100 higher, when I asked the cashier he got really defensive, another guy tried to step in and help, but he wouldn't have it. In the end they honored the price, but his final words to me, in a sarcastic tone, "Are you happy now?" Will never go back. Also, if you have any issues with your fitting and need to exchange it's a hassle, getting off the mountain and driving there. I'd stick with Christy Sports, Steamboat Sports or Fleischer.
