This office was similar to the other as it was very modern, bright and welcoming. This location was a little more personalized with cool sports memorabilia I assume belong to Dr. Aippersbach. As previously introduced at my consoltation the day prior Bill was phenomenal and so was his team. I was seen very fast and made comfortable in the cozy room. This room had relaxing soft music playing and a program on the tv to keep myself distracted. I came in terrified and left happy and relieved. Dr Bill is very patient and precise. I felt like he was very gentle which I highly appreciate considering I hate the feeling of metal and vibration. The numbing worked fantastically and I felt like I was in and out. We originally came to the Longwood location but since they didn't have laughing gas at that spot and he couldn't schedule me in same day we ended up going to their Maitland location next day. I was told by the assistant to wait in the waiting room during the procedure. Being my first time I asked why she replied it was policy. I then kindly asked why is it policy, with all the horror stories we hear i had to ask. The doctor came in after hearing that and explained the why. I will say it felt like a bit to back and forth at first vs him addressing my concerns and some things said were a bit off putting. I won't go in detail because at the end I see we're all just humans who can err in thought.... In the end everything turned out ok which was what mattered most and he allowed me to stay in the room afterall. Also funny at the end he was so suprised and mentioned it was his first kid who has not complained or moved during the procedure due to the pain. Hopefully none of you have to see an endo but if you do this was our experience.

Was referred to Dr. Louria by my dentist because I was having major pain. I've never had a…read moretoothache or work such as a root canal so I was EXTREMELY nervous. My dentist, who identified no general issue with my teeth, identified an area that needed a specialist such as Dr. Louria. Upon leaving, I called their office as I was literally walking out of my dentist and I was able to get in the next day. At that consultation visit it was determined that there was an issue with a crowned tooth and a root canal was recommended. Fortunately, again, they were able to get me in the next day. Due to my pain level and anxiety, I was able to get Halcion, a sedation med, and had zero pain, no concerns, it was a breeze. No pain during or since. Would highly recommend Dr. Louria and this practice. Thank you as I'm no longer scared of root canals!

We arrived with a referral and updated X-rays that had been completed shortly before our visit, yet there was confusion regarding the treatment plan and my son was taken for additional X-rays. This immediately raised concerns about communication and coordination. From the moment we walked in, the environment felt unwelcoming. One staff member repeatedly stared at us in a way that felt judgmental, and at multiple points, staff were whispering to each other while looking in our direction. My son, who was already in pain, became uncomfortable enough to ask if we should leave. Also, we witnessed inappropriate interactions between employees, while we were filling out paperwork. A male employee came out and began rubbing the shoulders of his female colleagues and patting their backs, as he walked by expressing going to grab pizza for the office. As for the $412 fee, it was not clearly explained, despite us having insurance and providing all necessary information. For context, we are a military family used to dealing with DOD and VA facilities, where payment processing is different. I explained that this was an emergency and that I needed a moment to figure out the financial portion. Instead of working with us, I was told, "you should always prepare to have to pay for things when you go places," which was both unprofessional and lacking empathy. While I stepped away briefly to figure out next steps, my son was brought back into the lobby and told that I needed to speak with him, which was not accurate. When we attempted to clarify the situation, the staff member closed the door without explanation. When I asked what was going on, I was again asked how I would be paying. We ultimately left without treatment, with my son still in pain and feeling embarrassed and confused. To make matters worse, we were not given any documentation or visit summary, and I had to request our referral back before leaving. No patient--especially one in pain--should leave a healthcare office feeling judged, confused, and untreated during an emergency. I hope this office improves its communication, professionalism, and patient care.

I worried about how much longer it would take to get the root canal appointment. Luckily, the doctor stayed late for me and did the procedure that afternoon. I really appreciated that. The doctor is experienced, fast and efficient. However, I was not prepared for the mouth insert that doesn't allow exhaling out of your mouth. I wish they had told me that ahead of time. When they had to stop to explain that I had to exhale out of my nose, I felt like I was an obstacle to the process. It was not reassuring. I didn't feel the empathy during this difficult process. During the procedure, they did not communicate where we were in the process, and if everything was going well. When the doctor was done, he did mention that there was one challenge that he overcame with intersecting nerves. Alas, I was glad to have some communication. After the procedure, the assistant gave me a t-shirt, a post procedure sheet, and told me we were done. She didn't give any verbal instructions, except to contact my dentist for my crown. She didn't ask how I felt and/or if I needed to take a rest in the waiting room. In fact, my back hurt for two days from the angle which I was reclined for a prolonged time. Otherwise, my recovery has been good and I'm thankful for that. As for the expense, it's not cheap to get the advanced xrays and the laser treatment. Even with insurance, those x-rays are not covered. However, it's the highest standard of care, which helps the doctor give patients the best treatment.
