No one wants to wind up here...(or anywhere) to get a root canal. It's lousy, it's not fun and it's really expensive wherever you wind up I spent a week in miserable pain before I was finally referred here. I'm a self-paying patient and yes, the price was very high. However, a root canal treatment anywhere is expensive. I was able to get a prompt appt to see Dr Gonzalez. The office was super clean and comfortable. After a quick set of X-rays and exam, they were able to perform the root canal right away. Every step of the procedure was orally explained to me. Dr. Gonzalez and her assistant worked together like a well-oiled machine. They moved in synchronicity. I marveled at their precise movements over my face. The root canal was performed with lasers which was new to me. All throughout, I never felt a thing other than the discomfort of the bite block and protective film they wrapped around my tooth. In about an hour, the root canal was done and I was on my way. Now that I need to restore the tooth (i.e. get a crown), I regret not getting an implant instead. Next time, I will definitely look into getting an implant rather than a root canal. I left with a very expensive t-shirt and thank you gift. I'd rather they skip the souvenirs and reduce the out of pocket expense, but we all know that's not happening. Overall, a pleasant experience. read more

Very unprofessional office. I came in for my fist appointment after I have given them my information requesting the please notify of any costs prior. They did not and when I arrived they slung several costs on me and said they're record show they did and left messages. I didn't receive either and have never had any of these issues with other offices in the past. Instead of trying to find a way to help resolve the issue the front desk person ask if I wanted to cancel the appointment. Thanks for wasting my time, lack of professionalism and consideration. The entire staff were all friendly and professional. The DA, Nikki, was very patient and kind. I have bad anxiety and some medical/dental professionals tend to get annoyed by my anxiety. Not Nikki!! She was patient and made me feel comfortable, which helped a lot with my anxiety! Dr. Vaidya was great. I had two teeth looked at and he decided to just do one root canal for now and watch the other tooth. He didn't pressure me to get both teeth done! read more

I went to the one on Morse Boulevard. Doctor Garcia was kind patient and fast. This is truly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a dental office. The assistant Milexis was super patient with me. She let me ask 1000 questions and answered every single one of them. They have fidget toys to help with any anxiety they use stay at the art equipment like lasers to help kill the infection. I read a review referring to this place as a meat market (unfortunately too late) and it makes perfect sense now. I was charged for a bunch of things including a CT before the doctor even saw me or heard what was wrong with me. My symptoms were ignored and i was told that I don't have an infection, even though I did. No prescriptions given for pain killers or antibiotics. I was rushed out almost mid-sentence while trying to understand the plan of care. They cannot rush you out of there fast enough. Their goal is to charge you max before even getting you into the chair!! Be careful or avoid, very non friendly and non cooperative. Never pay unless they explain every charge. I was there with my wife on February 12, 2024 to get my root canal done, they've charged me 500$ without any explanation of what they are going to do, which was ok, because I had a reference for a specific tooth to be done. After all they haven't done anything and told me that it was just a consultation and I need to schedule a new appointment for an actual treatment. After looking for what exactly they've charged me in the internet I found there were Xray, CT scans and other tests, they didn't ask me if I already have it done, maybe I wouldn't even need it at all. I asked why they didn't ask me before charging, they told: "we are not suppose to". I asked for the manager, they refused to contact me. I asked to give me the number for their financial department, they held me for 30 minutes, supposedly asking if they could give me their phone number and in the end just gave me the public customer service number and option "3". No comment about the actual doctor's work because before the doctor you need to learn all the med-codes, spend ~$500 and lose plenty of your time. read more

I had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Ryan Brennan at the Lake Mary location and I must say he is a phenomenal doctor. I had to get a root canal done and he was very patient, thorough and has excellent bedside manners. He made sure I was all numbed up before starting the procedure and explained everything well. His assistant "A", she is also great she knows her stuff very well and made my visit comfortable. During the entire procedure she made sure I was doing ok. This is a wonderful team! I hope I do not have to get another root canal done, but if I did AE will be my first stop. Dr. Brennan and A here I come. Aid, to add the office is very clean and nice along with the staff very friendly and neatly dressed. Being a OR nurse I have the eyes and ears for these things especially when I'm the patient. Dr. Chan was awesome! His office was incredibly kind. They fit me in as an emergency appointment for a root canal. I did have to wait but they kept checking on me and how was pain level. They Offered me something to drink and was apologetic for the wait. Dr. Chan and his team were so pleasant especially since I was so nervous from a previously terrible root canal experience from another Doctor. read more

I was a victim of bait and switch. I was misled into thinking I was going forward with a Root Canal procedure to then steer me away with negative scenarios because it was "The best" option. I went to Advance Endodontics for a root canal procedure. They did some X-rays and the Doctor said he wasn't "sure of a few things". The Doctor then recommended a 3D scan so he can see "more information". This where I felt I was a victim of bait and switch. The dentist office assistant said if you move forward with the procedure we won't charge you for the 3d scan. In my mind Im getting a root canal done so why would I say no to this? They were really adamant about charging me before the procedure, this is not common as payment is always rendered after the procedures have been completed. I agreed because my intentions were to get my root canal done. They performed the 3d scan, the Doctor said "he sees a problem with going forward with the procedure" and literally explained the same thing BEFORE the 3d scan was performed. The Doctor focused in every negative scenario to scare me into not doing the root canal. I decided to hold off based on his scare tactic but they still charged for the 3d scan. This is not right and misleading. Why would you tell a customer that you won't charge them for something if they move forward when the customers intentions were always to move forward? I feel the Doctor just didn't want to do the procedure and thats why he used scare tactics to have me hold off but to still charge for something. You would think with the pandemic that we are going through that they would do the right thing for the customer. I guess they are only interested in getting your money instead your wellbeing. read more

This practice was able to get me in for a last minute appointment after I went to my primary dentist this morning. I saw Dr. Chen at the Winter Park office. He and his hygentist/assistant were so nice and took the time to Answer all of my questions. I now have a follow-up appointment next week for a root canal. Dr. Chen ensured that I was comfortable.
