Our server was really friendly and got our drinks quickly. Our food also came shortly after we ordered. It was really good! It all tasted fresh made. This review is an honest, constructive critique to help a restaurant improve, and I hope Lindsey's BBQ hears it well, because according to reviews here and on other platforms, food changes are desperately needed. The service and servers were truly friendly and relatively attentive. Food was delivered much faster than expected. The atmosphere and setting are comfortable and mostly align with the expected style of a BBQ joint, though they've gone a bit crazy with the pull tabs. It's a solid place for family or a Saturday night with friends. This is where we hit a wall. The food was unfortunate, to say the least. The main issue is that their meats aren't smoked. Not in the slightest. Oven-baked brisket and "burnt" ends. Their original sauce is quite good once cooked and slightly caramelized, however, it's also served cold, which is a grave mistake. You can tell they assume the liquid smoke in the sauce alone will make up for the fact that they're not smoking or even charring their meats. It doesn't. NEVER serve this sauce as a side. We started with the nachos and brisket. Upon tasting, we were confused because the supposed brisket had the taste and texture of a shoulder roast cooked in water. We next had a half-pound of brisket and a pound of burnt ends--same issue. At least we were sure it was brisket by the cut, but it was by far the worst we've ever had. Gamey (fecal), fatty, and completely bland. This is the most substandard, cheap beef I've ever experienced. Had they at least seasoned it properly, that would have been something. The burnt ends weren't exactly burnt. They were more seared in a high degree oven, drying them out slightly without giving them any sense of char. Again, zero smoke. High fat, zero bone or gristle, significantly meaty. Had they been true burnt ends, they would have been quite good. The sauce was great, but the improper cooking method destroyed any desire to finish our plates. The coleslaw was 6 out of 10. It was fairly flat and needed more tang, potentially a little more vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and lemon. The macaroni and cheese was the only hit. Despite other reviews, ours came out creamy and pleasant. Cornbread was okay, also 6 out of 10. Nachos come in at about the same rating. The demise of most restaurants is generally the same. Food quality gets cut, cleanliness is overlooked, and service becomes complacent. They hit the first death knell long ago, and I imagine they suffer for it because you can see where they've overcompensated in other areas to increase profitability. Menu prices for anything on the platters are scrimping on sides and outlandishly high when compared to the likes of Old Southern BBQ, Wing King, Famous Dave's, Dickey's, or John Hardy's. Lindsey's, if you take away anything out of what I'm saying, for the love of barbecue, PLEASE SMOKE YOUR MEAT. There is nothing barbecue about your restaurant. Make some changes and invite me back. I'd be glad to rewrite my review.

Making memories we were. My sister found this quaint spot on Yelp and we were delighted with our choice. The boys got over the fact that was not a play place loaded with germs and all was well with the world. If you are under the age of sixty you will most likely be the youngest in the place. If you care about that kind of stuff. If you only drink Pepsi products you are also in luck. Mountain Dew on tap? Let's do this! The Feed Mill is quite small. Upon entering you will wait to be seated in a very small area that has 4 chairs. It seems to be very simple and who helps you is just whoever happens to be free. Be patient. We had no idea what we were doing but it worked out swell. The service was top notch. The staff was extremely attentive and had took the time to answer questions we had and dealt with the 8 and 10 year old boys with ease. Remember, most the of the customers were pushing 70+. Ours was the odd man out table. We ordered: kids meal with 1 (huge) pancake, eggs and 1 strip of bacon. (prefect for the picky 8 year old), a club sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and fries and the cajun breakfast. The 4 of us were satisfied with our choices. Everyone finished their meals with ease but me. I asked for a to go box as that cajun breakfast was a feast to feed 2 mouths! No complaints, I was happy to finish it the following day. I enjoyed it and would happily order it again. Without mushrooms which I did this time and they actually listened. My sister and I were happy to not be eating Big Macs. The boys were happy to sip Mountain Dew and root beer. The service was excellent and it was a great experience. If you ever find yourself in downtown Jordan I highly recommend Feed Mill. You can even purchase a T- shirt if you wish!

Everything we had was fresh, hot, and satisfying. The cinnamon roll was huge, soft, and covered in icing. The chicken-fried steak was crispy with plenty of creamy gravy, and the breakfast dishes were generous portions that definitely won't leave you hungry. One thing I really liked is that the restaurant overlooks a little creek, which gives it a unique, peaceful view while you eat. I'd definitely come back. Next time I want to skip breakfast and try one of their hand-pattied burgers--they looked really good. If you're looking for a cozy local diner with hearty portions, good food, and a nice atmosphere, The Feed Mill is worth a stop.

This cafe is found in a quiet spot in the town of New Prague. The restaurant gives off small town vibes but their special drink flights are spectacular! Now, of course we chose to visit this place for their Harry Potter themed drinks and I am so glad we did. This cafe actually creates 4 themed drink flights! 3 unique coffee flights - Harry Potter, Star Wars, & Peanuts, and 1 boozy Harry Potter themed flight. The presentation of these flights were gorgeous! Each one comes out in a beautiful wooden deco box with different themed Harry Potter stickers on the sides; as well a fun character toy brought to your table - we had both the Sorting Hat and Dobby. The booze flight also arrives with one drink aflame! There is a drink designed per-house. Majority of theme were delicious. The one set on fire did have a bit of an off-putting taste to it due to the flammable component drizzled over top. Besides this, the drinks were very nice. Not a fan of any of the themed flights? Don't worry, they have a regular mimosa flight for muggles as well On to the food. I chose to order the #3 From the Hen (2 eggs, choice of meat, hash browns, and toast). The food was absolutely delicious and extremely filling. Let me put you on one really quick.... The sausage is out of this world, the best I have had in years! I had a moment to sing my praises to the owner and he clued me in that they actually get their breakfast sausage from a local butcher near by! This all makes sense. The sausage was HUGE great flavor, thick and juicy in texture. It reminded me of a true German sausage. I would come back for that breakfast alone! All love to small businesses supporting small businesses! Overall really enjoyed my time here! If you haven't been out to try Ettlin's I might suggest adding it to your list!
