Living here brought almost nothing but issues, from dealing with roaches and spiders the entire time we were there, while pest control would just come spray the apartment and then say let us know if it keeps up. Even after months of complaints they never escalated pest control. We also had mold growing in our apartment because of the decline to fix a leak that we had in our ceiling. We put in a ticket for water stains on the ceiling and the response we received was to just wait and see if it happened again, this led to mold growing inside the wall so they came and just cut out the wall and left the hole there until we moved out. The move out process was just as bad. They overcharge for everything and do not take into account and deposits or as they call them fees. I was charged over 200 to fill the holes where my tv was hung. Upon move in we paid a $375 "sure bond" and once we got a dog we also paid another $675 fee and a $25 monthly fee and once we got our final settlement, it showed we had paid $0 in deposits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tried correcting this with the office and they said that it was correct that neither of these charges were deposits that would cover any of the damages in the apartment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I was trying to question and clarify this the responses were very rude and dismissive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had asked why the amounts I paid were not covering any of the damages and the exact response I received was "Let me know if you would like to set up a payment plan".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I could not wait to be done with this complex and will make sure I am more picky about my next place of living. read more

When I moved in I found that my kitchen sink was falling down. Put in a maintenance request and they just screwed a board underneath it to keep it up. Not quality maintenance work if you ask me. My apartment flooded twice during the 1 year and 8 months I lived there. People came to suck up the water and left fans but no repairs were made and it was evident by bowing of the floor and baseboards. The girl next to me had worse flooding and had to stay in a hotel room for at least 3 nights and the apartment did not pay for the hotel and continued to make her pay rent even though it was not safe for her to be in her unit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The locking mechanism for the dog park was messed up and I had to ask 3 times before it was finally fixed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I bought a house so I terminated my lease early and paid the fee, but the second flood happened about a week and a half before I moved out. There was mold present and the bowing in the floors and baseboards were exacerbated. I was charged a fee for the carpet once my account was settled. Which shows they didnt replace what they needed too. Hope the next residents dont get sick from the mold they will be inhaling. Also, the lighting throughout the property doesnt work and there are no lights at the dog park which is at the edge of the property where there is wildlife including coyotes so it very unsafe. have no complaints on the cleanliness of this complex. other than the roaches during the cold months and ants during the summer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]front office ladies are very rude. two younger ladies are exceptionally rude and maybe feel entitled to their roles a bit. two older ladies are wonderful especially property manager Amber.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jordyn on the other hand , she's new. Hopefully you don't get a tour from her or any inquiries from her. She's very very rude , I got the feeling from first meeting with her. But hey they say never judge a book by its cover so i gave her the benefit of the doubt and nope. i was right. be careful because she does not hold back and will give u the most attitude. very passive aggressive , ugly personality , doesn't smile or even look friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] now let's get into the amenities. they have a park for dogs rather than ur kids. even though their website shows that there is a park for kids. more than likely your neighbor will be a drug dealer. you'll meet most of them at the pool , they all know eachother and buy from eachother. maintence even sells marijuana to tenants probably to the front office as well. also expect police and ambulances to show up often. there's always something going on whether it's a fight at the pool , domestic violence , cars being broken into or someone setting their apartment on fire. Oh and if you have children who like to play outside , be very cautious. Everyone drives over the speed limit. there's a few sports cars who speed through the parking lots and my boyfriend almost got hit by one of them at night while carrying groceries. the parking is A MESS. Also expect them to charge u an insane amount of money to ur credit once you leave. we hired cleaners from the outside to help us leave our apartment immaculate. low and behold we get a bill for 450$. they also keep doing specials for lower prices , which indicates they're not doing so well in getting tenants. maybe because all the previous bad reviews. i wouldn't be surprised if this turns into section 8 housing really really soon. Save your money and go into white settlement they built two brand new apartment complexes that have great prices and seem like it's in a better atmosphere. read more

If I were writing a review for a couple years prior to moving out I would give 5 stars with tremendous praise. The last year living in these apartments have been close to pure hell. If you have children, steer CLEAR of living here. Zero speed bumps to slow down speeding drivers. The gate is broken more than not. The gate to the pool isn't properly secure, residents don't worry about making sure it's close behind them. Tile is broken around the edge of pool. (See attached photo of my toddlers leg that required stitches) I have an autistic child and had a neighbor who recently moved in this past year, right above my a garage. He did not like the sound of my autistic, non verbal child, or our garage door opening/closing. There are multiple times he would threaten us in front of our child. Even coming toe to toe with my husband on different occasions. We were told he would have people "come here to deal with us." Police were called each time. Walking up the stairs with my children, the same neighbor would come out of his front door and stare me and my children down. The office DOES NOT care about your children's safety! Office told us multiple times they were doing everything they could to help the situation, lies. The office even told us they had legal paperwork started to get neighbor evicted due to safety concerns. Apparently also a lie. We waiting almost a month for several emails to go unanswered about moving units. Even ME telling the office about a unit that was opening that we could move to. A few weeks go by, they rent the same unit out, then contact us a few weeks later to tell us that the application fell through and we could move to said unit. We finally got tired of the lies and run around and put in a 60 day notice and moved out immediately. I'll say it again, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY. Our garage was broken into, items stolen from our vehicle. We have told the office several times about our light being out in the hallway leading to our garage door, NEVER fixed it. Theft is a huge problem here. There is very little lighting outside & only cameras at the garbage to catch you throwing away things that aren't approved and a camera at the utility shed. (Because it was also broken into and their tools stolen.) Our third floor apartment has had a broken window in our children's bedroom for the better half of the year, which was yet to be fixed upon move out. Landscaping and mowing is few and far in between. Just up until a few months ago, the beds were up to your knees. If you want parking, forget it. You can find parking clear across the property, outside of the front gate or you can pay $75-$125 for covered parking or for a garage. Don't think of letting your kids play in the grassy areas. NOBODY picks up after their dogs. It's certainly special when your children ride around in their power wheels and all you can smell is the smell of dog crap in the air. This place used to be so nice. The office was always so helpful, kind, caring. Now, it seems they are only there for their paycheck and could care less about this community. We are so happy to be gone. read more

This is big apartment complex, but very little parking spot. They have lots of carpool and garage, and dog pub every where...when I move on they tall me never have parking problem. ... Ever since I lived hear every night have parking problem.. talk to maneger ,. She only say ...we have carpool and garage. They make contract with towing company make extra money. They tow my car (same night over10 car tow) talk to maneger , she say nothing she can help.... Pay 1180.00 .1 bedroom and I don't deserve 1 parking spot. I miss lot of my package .talk to assistant manager she say nothing she can do . Now I don't except any package from apartment .I use my work mail box. read more

I have only lived here for three weeks and I love the apartment, the kitchen is awesome. The management has recently changed and they are the best. I had two issues and they fixed them before I realized it, immediately. They have also been very accommodating in helping my move in here along with being super nice. I'm writing an update because I don't want people to think the place I described 2 years ago is what they will be renting. When I first moved here, I thought this place was out of this world. The office staff that was here was amazing and friendly. The property was open and beautiful. Now we have a new owner and the office staff has completely changed. The new people are incredibly rude. The customer service is right out the window. My husband was in the office the other day and the two front ladies were bickering and eye rolling each other the whole time he was in there. They should have the common curiosity to fake it while customers/tenants are present. Every time I have brought something to their attention they immediately give attitude. The property may look good from a distance or at a glance, but once you've been here you'll notice the truth. My foundation in my apartment is horrible. My living room slumps towards the center of the building. The corners of my walls are peeling from the ceiling. There are cracks under the windows frames. The windows are poorly installed. The lining all comes out when you open them. The gym has not changed since I moved in. I am currently on my 3rd lease here. The cardio machines are all broken and if so happens the machine does turn on the meters are never right. The parking is nonexistent. Your guests and you will have to park OUTSIDE the gate and walk. If you buy parking it's rather expensive. Still wondering why a piece of metal over a spot cost $300 a year.. pretty sure that metal didn't cost much to build. The recycle bin is false advertising. They DO NOT pick up recycle here in this location. I have contacted customer support from the pick up companies. Also I have personally recorded the trash company picking up the recycle bins with the trash all in one. I confronted the apartment management about this issue and they refuse to reply or comment. I'm a huge "go green" person so this deeply concerns me. If you wondering why I have stayed and currently on my 3rd lease if it's this bad? My first lease here was amazing with the old guys. Half of my second lease was with them and then the evil step mother moved in and nothing was done. I only needed a few months before we relocate for military, so I ended up just sucking it up until then. Overall, it's a shame the office has destroyed this place. I really love my apartment. In light of the current situation I wanted to update my review. I have now lived here for a little over 4 months. I work 2 jobs so I am not home much, except on the weekends. I am a homebody, so when I am not working, I like to be home in my own space. Other than my daughters car being stolen out of this gated community and figuring out that the people on the payroll here, DO NOT care about their residents, its been an uneventful stay. I like the apartment. I have the large 1 bedroom, on the 3rd floor. I leave for work at 3pm and do not return until 9am the next day, and it's usually a quiet place. The parking is a LARGE joke. The covered parking is an extra $35 a month and a garage is an extra $100 a month... people from other buildings park in front of my building so depending on time of day, good luck with parking! The main reason for my update is this... with the current covid-19 situation everyone is being affected in one way or another. Many people are quarantined, unable to go to work. I believe the office staff here are actually "working from home". There was an article about the Texas Supreme Court halting eviction proceedings through late April. So a friend of mine who is friends with the Assistant manager on facebook told me that she ( the assistant manager) shared the article and commented... "Seriously, don't think I won't file eviction as soon as the courts open back up. My job is to protect my company, not residents. Pay your bills. Especially if you are still working. #hustle" This is the attitude of Oxford At Lake Worth. With all the people who are suffering in one way or another, she flat out declares, her job is to protect the company, not residents.... Sorry, but these residents are the reason this girl has a job to begin with. This place sees all their residents as nothing more than dollar signs. I lived there for three years in older part of complex until December 2017. I had two bedroom apartment on 2nd floor and personally I and my family enjoyed our time there. We did face couple of issues and yes there are few places they can improve. Parking is hard to find there especially on weekends. Walls are thin and on master bedroom you can hear your neighbors talking. What we enjoyed though was huge balconies they have and we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone on 1st floor because there was a garage there. Like I said parking is hard to find there but we never had any issue because we rented a garage right underneath us where you can park two cars and in some you could actually park three cars. Garage was big and had an extra storage room. I really liked their trash pickup service because from Sunday to Thursday you can actually leave your trash right outside your door and they'd pick it up. I also liked their emergency maintenance. Three years we lived there, few times our AC stopped working and when we called maintenance after hours they came quickly to fix it and that include on Sunday evening. I did hear from some people having issues with office staff but I personally never had any issues, it may also because we didn't have to deal with them much. I liked their pool and right by pool they have barbeque area with grills, sink and tables. So by my personal experience I would recommend these apartment but I would strongly recommend to get pay parking or rent a garage otherwise you'll suffer. read more

I live in Phase 1 and have been so happy! Affordable rent, quick responses from management/maintenance and no problems! I had one poor interaction with a neighbor (man below me asking if there was a man he could speak with after dark at my door, I'm a mid twenties woman and don't like to advertise that I'm alone at home). I spoke with management and they handled it! Great little dog park and I never had issues with finding a parking spot. Lock your car doors, but that's a no brainer anywhere you are. 14 minutes from Sundance Square, 20 minutes from HEB, I loved the location. Will miss this apartment for sure!! read more

Don't understand why I can't go down to my pool and enjoy my day without our front office ladies coming out and having something to say. You can't have beer "CANS" at the pool. Never heard of such a thing. Oh and then the following day I go back to enjoy another day in the sun, and they tell my friend that she needs to go change her swimsuit because there was a complaint..... please tell me where on the "pool rules" sign it says to "watch what you wear". After residing here for 8 years in two espérate occasions, we can honestly say it was a safe place to live. If ever there was a break in (I can only recall this 3xs), flyers were sent out to the units advising them of such. Although, during our stay, we did see many managing companies come and go so we never really had a relationship with them. If we needed maintenance, however, they were courteous and ready to help us in a timely fashion. After they built Phase II, we did start to see more issues with parking but it never affected us, thank goodness for our carport/ garage. One of our favorite things about this place was that they have a fully equipped fitness room with TVs, Stereo system and Wifi. But I think the biggest positive of them all was that this was a great location. It's very close to the shopping centers, HWY 820/I-30 and Ridgmar mall. Just a couple CONS: The pool is always congested with people that do not live there. You'll see cars pull up and go straight to the pool. The reason they can do that is because the old code from 8 years ago still works. Although they've integrated the new codes per tenant, the old one still works. Second issue, we didn't like that the maintenance team didn't keep up with cleaning the outdoor grills. If you leave it to the tenants, you'll get what you currently have, dirty, disgusting and close to unusable grills. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this place to anyone. read more

Please DO NOT consider moving to these apartments. I'm going to give a few reasons on why these apartments are the absolute worse. 1. No parking ever. Whoever designed this place made sure to maximize housing and give the least amount of parking per apartment. Its basically forcing you to pay for covered or garage parking. I have had to walk up to a 1/2 mile to get to my third story apartment at some times. I'm very sure the way they designed this complex was to make sure that most people would pay the 75 to 150 dollar covered parking so they can make more money. 2. The staff have the worst customer service. Of coarse, they will be a lot nicer in the beginning because they want to sell but whenever you sign those papers, all of that goes out the window. I'm not even kidding I walked in to the office and the first thing they said is "what do you want?". Are you serious? I've never felt so belittled and unappreciated by an establishment that much. They have also gone through a whole staff change 3 times or so since the year that I've been here. Still the same issue no matter what staff is there. 3. The apartment quality is absolutely terrible. Paying $1300+ a month for an apartment that literally is falling apart at the seems sounds pretty horrible right? With a bigger bill every month you would figure that you are getting better quality but that is certainly not the case. The staples that hold the carpet down are coming out and stab your feet whenever you walk from the bedroom to the bathroom or any other transition for that matter. The flooring for the kitchen was starting to unglue and would trip on the fake wood linoleum you as you walk by. The drains were completely full of hair and whatever else when we moved in. We also had a huge ant infestation for the first few months before they all died for the winter. The apartments maintenance decided a little disk that would trap them when they walked into it would be suffice to kill them all which sorry to ruin the story, it didn't work. The door handle for the sliding door to the balcony broke within the first week. All the blinds were falling off within the first few weeks. ALL of the smoke alarms would go off randomly during the night not matter if you changed the batteries or not. 4. Just the little things. THEY ARE REDOING THE ROOF ON MY BUILDING AND DECIDED TO START AT 8AM. I HAVE TO SLEEP AT THAT TIME AND IT'S PRETTY HARD WHENEVER YOU CANT EVEN HEAR YOURSELF THINK WITH THE AMOUNT OF NOISE THAT IS PRODUCED FROM THE WORK THAT THEY ARE DOING. Plus, if you think parking was an issue before just wait till they leave their big machines to take up almost 10 parking spots. These apartments have a "valet trash" that will pick up your trash if you leave it outside of your door. However, if you leave your can past 9am you get fined. Really? You are really going to charge me for leaving an empty trash can past 9am? I don't even wake up before 9am. 75 dollar late fee if your rent is late on the third day. Really? If you want to pay your rent online its a $50 convenience fee, that is absolutely insane. Most of the building was most likely made by sub contracted workers which in most cases means the worst of quality. Overall my experience with Oxford at Lake Worth apartments has been one of the most awful living experiences I have ever had. I definitely do not recommend living here to anyone even my worst enemy. PLEASE, RECONSIDER MOVING HERE! I wanted to list a few pro's about this apartment as well. The pools are nice and the gym is okay. *WARNING* If you are thinking about moving in pretty close to the date that I am posting this, don't. They are "renovating" the apartments so there is tons of construction and they start VERY early in the morning. read more

Pros: - I don't hear my neighbors - Covered parking - Gated community - Two pools and lots of BBQ pits - Friendly staff - Reasonable rates - Right off 820 and easily accessible/Close to 30 and 199 - Nice sized patios Cons: - Trash bins are ALWAYS overflowing and never fully cleaned - No elevators - Not enough parking - People steal your PAID parking without recourse - The "bros" that hang out at the pool are loud and make the area dirty - Children running around (1 has even urinated on the concrete by the pool while people laugh) - Water bill is high (never had higher than $25/mo for ANY apartment) - Fast construction so nice items are put together a little shoddy - Kitchen is small and laundry door runs into fridge - Tub is not a true garden tub - Guest bathroom is HUGE compared to master bathroom - Staff is very young (I also heard one of the females was dating a tenant) I like the apartments, but I get really sick of people parking in my spot. I have even had the waster removal truck park in my spot. Covered parking is $50/mo, but everyone parks where they want without recourse. Someone threw a mattress away in the dumpster area and it has been ROTTING and SMELLING up the area for over a month! The bins are always full and never fully emptied. People are always inconsiderate by the front pool. The front BBQ pit smells awful and there are pee stains on the concrete. Overall, I have stayed in worse places, but I expect more than what I have from the amount of rent. read more

My girlfriend and I lived there for a whole year. We couldn't get out of there any sooner. The parking was horrendous! Often the gates were left wide open leaving much room for theft as my truck was stolen over night. I took several pictures showing the gates left open on several occasions. Not once were we reached out to in order to make things right. If you live here prepare for the worst service as they do not care. The pools get cleaned once a week if that. This place is amazing. The staff at Oxford at Lake Worth are the best apartment staff I ever had the pleasure of working with. They get problems taken care of as soon as possible. I recently got a puppy and they walk her for me when I'm at work. They truly care for their residents and are so friendly. whoever is writing the reviews for this site, are Lying! its probably someone that works for the property most likely; My family and I moved here in Nov 2016 and we had minor problems when we moved in. 1st parking is horrible, the property was designed with Minimum parking to force the residents to purchase a covered spot for $25 or a Garage for $75+, Then of course when we moved in we had Knats everywhere all the time. We thought it was something we were doing, but our neighbor next door told us they had them to.Finally, after complaining an getting told pest control came out, which we later found out they never came in because we have a dog. We kinda just gave up.Well we were considering moving, but decided to sign again, which was a HUGE mistake, that winter of 2017 We had some uninvited guest take over our place. RATS!!!! yes, you read it right! we went to the office they gave us 2 glue traps and told us pest control would come on Wed, mind you that was Saturday, when we reported the rodents. Then Wed came and they never showed up, claimed because we had a dog they could not come in someone had to be present. So we had to endure another week, in that time frame we caught 2 in the traps they gave us, then another 2 in the traps we bought out of our pockets, and then finally when the pest guys shows all he did was gave us, you guest it SOME GLUE TRAPS!!! I don't know about you, but I'm not in the business of paying almost $1200 for rent and then having some extra pets I didn't sign up for. NO thanks! Finally, when you pay your rent be sure to get a receipt, They have come to us on 2 different occassions claiming we paid our rent late, when each month, we walk the rent into them and hand it to the girls in the front office. This last time they claimed we pd on the 5th when, we walked the rent in a gave it to the young lady on the 3rd. She calls me back and says" my apologies your money orders do say the 3rd, and you actually have a credit, it was an error on our part, I don't enter the money". My response was, if you don't handle the money then before you accuse a resident of being late you should do your research first, that way you don't have to apologize for something your not responsible for People please do not move in here we are now having to break our lease to move out of this place horrible, nasty place. it will save you a hugh amount of time and money!!!!! if they had the option to upload the photos, I'd show you all the rodents we have captured, A TOTAL OF 4 YOU DON'T WANT TO LIVE IN THIS RAT DEN!!!!! read more

I've lived here for 2 years and will not be renewing my lease this time around. I initially moved in because the pricing was so competitive and it's so close to work, but each year they have increased my rent in extravagant amounts. This year they tried to raise my rent 12% and only negotiated down to a 6% increase and they wouldn't give the upgrades I requested that I know my neighbors have (espresso painted cabinets and all laminate floors). At one point this year my heater would not shut off until I switched the breaker off, it was 86 degrees in my apartment and it took them several days to resolve this issue. I pay for a covered spot monthly, no action was taken when I told them someone had been using my spot. I liked using the gym here when I first moved in, but most of the equipment broke down a while ago and hasn't ever been replaced. The last straw was a couple weeks ago, a neighbor with the garage next to my apartment was moving out so I called and asked if I could get the garage, the woman on the phone told me someone was ahead of me on the waiting list and she would put my name down. I noticed that the new tenants got the garage so I asked the office about the waiting list and my name was never added. Their solution to this issue was to say "sorry" and offer me a spot on the opposite end of the building. This place may be a good deal at first, but they don't take care of their long term tenants. read more

I spent about 10 months with what is now Oxford at Lake Worth. Over the course of a month, in the middle of the summer, I went two full weeks without air conditioning. Each time I put in a ticket they would come out, refill the refrigerant, which would get the a/c working again for a day or three... just to fail again. The second time it was out for a full week I had to put in multiple tickets and even called the front office a couple of times. I had to go out and buy fans so that my kids and I could get to sleep in the 85+ degree apartment. To add on to it all, when they finally fully fixed the a/c they left a hole in the wall (not an external hole, but one into the space between the drywall and external walls) just above floor level for a week or two... and a mouse got in. At least it only took them a day to get someone out with traps. In another case one of the toilets stopped working and, again, it took over a week for them to correct the problem that should not have taken more than 1 hour, including the drive to Home Depot to get the part. In the meantime, my kids and I all had to share a single toilet. The complex is not interested in taking care of its clients, just in saving as much money as possible regardless of the discomfort of the residents. I was more than a little disappointed with my stay. I had intended to stay longer, but cut short my time due to how poor my time there was. I would not recommend it to anyone I know. There are other locations with good location that are interested in retaining clientele and ensuring their stay is enjoyable. read more
