I've been going to Oxford Cleaners for the past 10 years. Sure, there's been the occasional…read morehiccup--like my clothes being ready an hour later than expected--but that's life, and it's never been a big deal. What matters most is that they consistently get my clothes done exactly the way I want them. I'm a creature of habit, and I respect businesses that respect me. The team at Oxford knows me, treats me with kindness, and values our relationship. One time, my daughter dropped off clothes for me, and I forgot I had items to pick up. I hadn't given her any money (parents know how that goes--your money is their money!). But they handed her my clothes anyway and said, "He can pay next time." That kind of trust and familiarity is rare, and it means a lot. I always read reviews before trying a new place, and I understand that sometimes a bad day or a single employee can skew things. But I can say with confidence: the owner here is 100% worth giving a chance. That's why I'll keep coming back.

When I needed to wear one of the suits, I discovered that the buttons on the sleeve were damaged. Of the 4 buttons, 1 was broken in half and one was cracked. Both suits had imprints around the buttons, proof that the heat used was too high. The darker suit was scorched across the chest and the pockets and other seams were visible on the outside of the garment. It is important to note, both of these were new suits prior to this "service". To recap: a "professional" dry cleaning establishment used heat that was too high and from what I can tell, ironed/ steamed my garments laying flat instead of hanging, thus ruining the items I left in their care. PLEASE don't leave your garments here, go anywhere else!!

I took my comforter in to be dry cleaned a week 2 weeks ago. When I was told that it would be ready…read morein a week or less, and I never heard from them after a week, I called them to check on it.Adam Horm, the owner, told me I better come look at my comforter because it had been damaged. He had washed our comforter which stated on the tag "dry clean only" He claimed that some of the stains wouldn't come out when they dry cleaned it, so, instead of calling me, he decided to wash it and in doing so, melted off all the decoration on the entire comforter. I told him I refused to pay for it since he ruined it and he said he didn't expect me to. I asked him to replace it and he said that he didn't have to that I signed a statement claiming to not hold them responsible for any damage they cause. Which is absolutely ridiculous and I never received a copy of that statement. How can you not replace something that you damaged when you went against what the cleaning instructions were. He said he would try to contact the manufacturer and see if they would send me a new one. I have called 2 times in the last week and he won't return my phone calls. But regardless, it is poor business. And very ludicrous that you wouldn't replace something that you damaged due to failure of following instructions. He should have contacted me if the stains wouldn't come out. Just very unprofessional and this was part of a $200 set. I asked him just to give me something for the comforter since its ruined. He could seem to care less how he treats his customers.
