I really needed my white covers dry cleaned since my dog sleeps in bed with us and after searching Yelp for recommendations, we decided to drop off the covers at Oxford. The ladies at the counter were extremely nice. The price was reasonable at $35 and it was a quick turnaround. I also have gotten my skirts shortened there. The work was beautiful, but it was a bit expensive. I got 5 very thin beach covers skirts shorten by 2 inches or so and it was $135 total. I have gotten things shorten before because I'm 5'0 and everything is extra long on me and it has always been roughly $10-15 a piece even with more complicated items such as dress pants. Overall, I would recommend them for dry cleaning service not so much for alterations. read more

You are able to ask what the price will be before you commit, but usually once you tell them what you need, they will tell you. They will get your info, tell you when it will be ready and give you a customer slip with you item number for pick up. They offer same day (get it in early) and next day service, dry cleaning, washing, alterations. They are wearing masks and have sanitizer on the counter. They are also selling masks, made by them. The hours have changed during this time. Your price will depend on what you have or what you're having done. They will tell you up front what the fee is. Your able to call and get some pricing over the phone. A few years ago, I was looking for a cleaner that could clean new, never before used, 6 and 8ft table linens, they belonged to the church and I was in charge of getting them cleaned within a budget. I called a total of 5 local cleaners and 1 place asked me to bring them in and 2 wanted to charge alot and 1 didn't do them, HUH! I called this cleaner and all they asked where how big they were. That's it! They were going to be $18 each and before I told them how many I had, they told me if I had more than 13 tablecloths, I would get a discount (they did not know it was for a church). Perfect!! No, I want to see them, so I can decide how much to charge. No, I need you to bring them in, so I can decide how much to charge. Just straight to the point pricing. (My kind of talk) One of the calls was to a different Oxford cleaner (they are indivually owned) and they wanted $29 each. This is where I take ALL my cleaning now. Once, I needed mending on my husband's sleeve (dress shirt), the owner called to tell me, she could fix it, if I wanted her too, BUT it would tear again because the fabric was worn. I really appreciated that and as a customer, it gave me the option to decide what I wanted to do. This week, I took in dress pants for a tear down the pocket line and I went ahead and got them washed, cleaned and pressed. It was $13.65. My visits there are usually between $13 to $35, it just depends what I'm getting cleaned, mended or altered. This is a great place to try out! read more

Express cleaners! Same day and next day services are available. They press and wash on-site which means you can get items pressed with a short turnaround time. If I leave items at the cleaners for more than a day or two I totally forget about them. So this is ideal and prices are very reasonable for the area and turnaround time (there cheaper dry cleaners out there but I haven't found one in the "Smynings" area.) Great experience! I came to Atlanta with a brand-new white dress that I'm going on my bachelorette trip this upcoming weekend with unfortunately the suitcase had black lining and stained the white dress I took it to the cleaners and they weren't sure if they could get it out but did their best and were able to fully get the stain out or super responsive and my dress looks brand-new! I'd give them a zero-star, if I could. These cleaners used to be acceptable in the beginning when I started using their service a little over a couple years ago, but then all my shirts cleaned by them started faintly smelling musty and I'd even see the slightest dirts not being cleaned off. I believed they were isolated incidents and continued to use their services in hopes that it'll be back to being good as it used to be. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and therefore I have completely stopped going to them and instead I've found another excellent cleaners who clean the best. I regret that I haven't switched to them way earlier. They're the best, including their customer service; they'd even offer my wife who's kind of petite to carry the clothes to her car which the other musty cleaners had never tried to do. Therefore, if you don't mind your shirts smelling musty due to use of insufficient detergent by these cheap cleaners it's your choice. read more

These good folks know how to get the job done-whether it's repairing severe snags/holes, replacing missing buttons, doing alterations, getting those pesky stains out or pressing clothes to military crispness. This place was amazing!!!!! I needed a gala dress fitting 24 hours before the event and they were able to do exactly that at a reasonable price. My review for Oxford Cleaners is long overdue! It's like forgetting to tell your best friend that you love them! There are few places that get my loyalty 100% of the time all the time every time. Oxford has a place on this elite list. I travel for work often and I hate washing and ironing especially washing and ironing work clothes. I want to be crisp and fresh and sharp for my clients. Oxford keeps my clothes looking top notch. I drop my cleaning off on Friday mornings and pick them up on Saturday late afternoon. My clothes are spotless, fresh, folded and packaged just so! All I have to do is simply open my luggage and drop in the clothes and I'm all set for business travel on Monday morning. Definitely give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed. I LOVE this cleaners. It's like a spa day for your clothes; they just come back to you looking relaxed and refreshed. First, it doesn't look like a dump, it's actually in a nice little plaza with plenty of other conveniences surrounding it. The prices are very reasonable, you're not going to get the 15 items for $25 gimmick like everywhere else on Spring Rd. but your stomach won't drop when she hands you the bill, and your clothes WILL LOOK LIKE NEW! It's the kind of place where you don't have to ask them to shave your sweaters because they do it anyway, you don't have to spot-treat yourself (even though that's always a good idea) because they'll actually take care of stains and even mark them with little stickers so they can remember. They have gotten an old oil stain off of one of my silk shirts where other cleaners told me there was nothing they could do. And the cherry on top happened most recently. Years ago, I decided I'd go hungry for awhile so I could buy this amazing white blazer; then I got a small ink stain on it, tried to get it out with water (don't do that ever), and ruined the damn blazer. This huge bluish water spot front and center. I took it to cleaner after cleaner who sent it back with that same stain. Finally, I just put it in the back of my closet where it's been for about 3 years. This year, I was going to get rid of it, but decided to give it one last shot. I took it to Oxford with some other clothes (and the owner is so sweet by the way), told her the story, she said "let me work on it." Couple days later, I went back to pick up my other clothes, and she asked if she could hold onto the blazer because they were still working on it. Whaaaaa! You care like that? Yes ma'am, I will wait! I think that's when she called in her magic elves, and when I went back to get the blazer, THE STAIN WAS GONNNNEEEE!!!!! If I knew how, I would've tap danced out of there. I wanted to hug her, but I was pretty sure that would scare her, so I just flashed my biggest of big smiles (and I have a big old toothy grin!) and thanked her profusely and asked God to bless her and her establishment. I knew something was missing but couldn't tell what. Took me a few weeks to figure it out. I don't make enough money to give clothes away to the cleaners if they decide they like what you have.
