Only the angle parking spaces facing the beach are pay spots. Spaces in front of houses are FREE! (See NOT SO GOOD section for more) + Bathrooms are seemingly located every few blocks when in the middle of the boardwalk THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Not many restaurants along Ocean Avenue and the boardwalk except a few pizzerias (J's Pizza, 3 Brothers From Italy, Mamalukes), ice cream shops (Coney Waffle, Mamalukes) and D'jais bar. - Just a few souvenir/t-shirt stores (Beckman's On the Beach, The Beach Nut) if you're into collecting souvenirs or buying shirts from different towns/cities. - Show up early to park on weekends/holidays! He educated us about different types of pools, sizes and shapes. Mike also helped us estimate all of the various costs that go into building a pool including the fence, landscaping, permits, concrete, electrical and gas lines. His estimates were very accurate and knowing this information up front helped us plan and understand the total project cost. Mike helped us with every facet of the project, from getting the survey, applying for permits to getting us connected with trusted contractors and making sure we were prepared for the next step. Mike was also great helping us navigate Lower Makefield Township permits process and regulations. Our pool was recently completed and we love it! Mike opened the pool, oriented my wife and I on the maintenance tasks and provided us with helpful instructions. Throughout the whole process Mike has always been a text, email or call away and was super responsive. My wife and I are glad we took the plunge and if we had to do it all over again we 100% would. The park has a lot of new equipment (which is good for kids between the ages of 3 to 9 I'd say), it was very clean, and there was also lots of parking which was convenient. The one shortcoming is that there's no bathroom or fountain. Other than that though, pretty solid park.

Playwicki on Maple Avenue in Langhorne has 33 acres park land featuring well maintained facilities…read moreand equipment. It is clean, spacious and often less crowded than many parks. One main loop trail that is an easy hike through the woods and along the creek. My brother and I would spend hours there when we were young exploring the woods and wandering up the old railroad bridge. I come back often to remember those days, while I don't traverse up to the bridge a quiet walk along the creek is more my speed nowadays. A perfect place for contemplation and nature, a local gem.
