I've been a customer of Catalonia Cleaners since 2005. I've been through several management and…read moreownership changes, and have stuck with them bc it's convenient. However, I recently had a situation that a sweater was damaged. It was burned or stained by the cleaning team. When I told them my sweater had been damaged, someone from the plant (texted me in Spanish), and told me it was damaged when I dropped it off. However, her argument ran afoul bc the lady that takes in the clothes checks it from tip to toe. When I told her the lady that takes in the clothes didn't mention it and no one called me, she told me they don't call customers when they notice damage---which seems ludicrous to me. She argued and counter argued and took ZERO response. As a result, I picked up my last order from them and will never return. This was not an exp sweater thankfully but the thought it could have been a designer item that they damage without taking responsibility is unacceptable. They're also extremely pricey for the shoddy job they did.
