Combination of varies sushi. The crunchy roll especially delicious.
Gada F.

The ambiance was great, clean and spacious. Salads and sushi were flavorful and well portioned. Every bite was filling.

The salmon was so delicious! I just felt that there was too much rice; the portions for every entree is quite large. However, the ambience was nice and the restaurant is large and clean.

Fried pork dumplings

My mother, daughter, and I were craving sushi, and Oyaki always hits the spot. One thing I really enjoy about this place is the realistic underwater screens they've added to the walls--it gives the whole space a relaxing, immersive vibe. We started with an order of fried dumplings as our appetizer and then shared four sushi rolls... but we were still hungry, so we ended up ordering four more! That's a total of eight rolls between the three of us. We like to mix it up--shrimp, fish, crab, and lobster rolls--so we get a little bit of everything. We always make sure to include a Philadelphia roll and of course, the classic California roll. The rolls were delicious as always, and we even had a to-go box of leftovers, which I brought home to my husband. The total came to about $120, but considering we mostly ordered specialty rolls, I think $30 per person was very reasonable. The quality and flavor are always consistent, and the sushi is well worth the price. Our waitress was nice and attentive she made us aware that Oyaki has a to-go location right next door, so if you don't feel like dining in, you can just grab your order and go--which is super convenient!

Chicken Fajitas masked as 2. Chicken Teriyaki

Wow! This is the most un-authentic place ever! My teriyaki chicken looked and tasted like chicken fajitas. If you are seeking an authentic experience, stay away from this place! Go to Novi. Being from California, Yelp failed me on this. The locals may like this place based on ratings but if you are use to authentic japanese, I would not recommend.

1st visit! I had dinner here on my way to Canada. (I found this location on Yelp) And because Oyaki Sushi had a vast amount of positive reviews I decided to try it. Sushi is one of those types of foods that is either good or is not. Strangely enough (in my opinion) the food at Oyaki was neither (it was not bad but it was not good) something about the flavors was off, if I had to pinpoint where the taste was off I would say it was the rice. The service was fast, the price of the food was incredible, as I have never been to a sushi place and spent under $70.00 for 2 people. The total cost for two at Oyaki was $36.98 in my opinion the price was a bargain. Ambiance was nice, location is easy to access specially for those traveling wanting easy access from freeway to local restaurants.

Hands down the best sushi I have ever had. Highly recommend the chili sauce roll they have, it blew me away. The manager gave us a free dessert with ice cream and fried Oreos and it was possibly the best dessert I've ever had. Hands down give this place a 10/10. The customer service was also excellent. Great atmosphere as well! I love the ambiance.

Cancun Roll, 5 Piece Mexican Roll, 5 Piece Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Scallop Roll

The service is fast and efficient. The atmosphere is quiet when you are in a booth you feel like you can have a conversation with the people at your table and not bother others. The sushi is very good. We had shrimp tempura roll, Cancun roll, Mexico's. Roll, lobster roll and Calamari roll. We also had the crispy chicken for appetizers.

Food was amazing, was a long long wait.. it was not busy at all. Service could've been a bit better! The spicy tuna has been removed from the menu, changed to the spicy tuna avocado roll. We ordered some without avocado but none of it was spicy like usual also missing the spicy mayo on them. We got our appetizer before we received our Pepsi products/drinks. Short on straws..Forgot my soup, but brought me one on the house for the mistake which I really appreciate. The little things do matter especially when celebrating occasions. Nothing for birthdays really done no kind of offer/desserts when mentioned my dad's birthday.

These prices! Eek! The food is good, but my God these prices are 25-30% more than what I'm used to. I'd be happy to go back if someone else pays. ;)

Beautiful restaurant, interior was very welcoming and Very professional staff. The food was absolutely delicious, I will admit I was surprise, I did not expect such great food and service. I'd recommend trying, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I ordered the bipimbop (I left off the spice) Dragon queen roll, eel roll, crab Rangoon.

Oreo sushi!

This was the most amazing sushi spread we've ever had ! The owner Nazeem was very friendly as was the staff. You can tell they put a lot of pride into the food they prepare. Try the chili shrimp roll- so delicious

How many rolls do you need to order to get the awesome boat?

Good Evening, Kelly! We use the boat as a serving tray for larger orders. The larger boats fit 10+ roles. If your order is smaller, simply ask your waiter to bring your roles on a small boat.…

Where is the best Ramen place in Detroit Mi?

Detroit doesn't have a GOOD ramen place. I've tried all of them.

But no worries a lot of creative rolls, I managed to order the White Castle roll which was not the best choice for me to eat. I'm sorry I hate cooked rolls. I'm more of a traditionalist and some rolls rock and some rolls roll. An appetizer of vegetable tempura started the meal and then after a very unsatisfying dinner I ordered a traditional hamachi roll. To tie up the loose ends. The place is pretty simple walls adorned with London and Times Square. All in all the food was good. Service was fine, cheap eats is what it is for the locals...

Bash Izakaya is probably considered the highest quality sushi spot in my area (Midtown Detroit). I love their King Salmon roll and other offerings. (not a fan of Tempura at all and can't attest to it) Koja is probably 95% of Bash while being at least 40% less expensive. Like their Michigan Roll is very, very comparable to Bash's King Salmon roll and it's $7 cheaper when ordering online. Koja also has an S and T roll and a Tuna and Tuna roll that compare very favorably to Bash and are much less expensive. I cannot overstate Koja's quality and value. Absolutely dominates locations such as Wasabi Soy in Midtown, Inyo in Ferndale and Sorya Downtown Koja is as authentic as it gets. Highly recommended!

My husband and I both got the birria ramen and for context we get from Habibi's Birria which is more lemony and it's what I was expecting personally. This birria ramen to both my husband and I was a 2.5/5. The ramen is on the spicier side which isn't noted anywhere (would have been fine if I had known but the menu is a bit misleading) and then the meat was on the tougher/drier side even though it's literally soaking in a soup. Tapatio's premade ramen which has Artificial Beef Flavor tastes better lol My cousin said her Mongolian beef was a 3/5. The issue is hers was veryyy salty for her which saltiness is expected but we don't want it to be that bad. Seating is "bar" only so not ideal for groups but there is outside seating if it's not cold. They were helpful in deciding what we want but as soon as we ordered the girl left and the guy who made our food disappeared so when we wanted to ask for more lime we couldn't. Anyways overall disappointing. Would not recommend or come again but it wasn't awful to the point we didn't eat our food.
