Me and my BF had an amazing time here. I had been a few times but it was his first time ( visiting me from AZ ) and he loved it so much he's 20th on the waiting list now to get us a place here. we met new friends and loved loved the pool, bar, and cafe' here. The food is good, y'all! A lot of campgrounds don't have that much less a full bar! We enjoyed playing pool at the bar and the drinks are strong! Visited this campground for the first time on August 10. Definitely enjoyed the visit and look forward to a future visit. This campground is perfect for our community, is very large and has an amazing pool bar and restaurant area. There is also a bar separate from the pool which makes this more like a resort because you never need to leave. The staff are very customer service oriented and extremely friendly, personable and outgoing. Everyone says hello when they see you. The members that we met were very outgoing, free of attitude, and we're so easy to strike up a conversation with. It is rather refreshing to find such a great group of guys. read more

shockingly a very adorable prices. their membership fees are $15 for a WHOLE YEAR. i'd be ludicrous if i'd walk out of the front office without getting myself one. the amities are plenty for platonic and adult situations. being one of the more popular gay campgrounds in georgia it's also know for it being clothing optional so i'll let you fill in the blanks there. with a 24/7 hot tub & pool inhabited by friendly gay men you're bound to make some fun memories. read more

From the moment we arrived, Steve and his staff treated me and my guests/helpers like family. Once Steve got us in our cabins, we got settled and then met by the pool. After soaking up the first sun rays of the season, we met Josh and Robbie. Handsome, with an easy smiles, Josh and Robbie were only the first of the great men who flew down specifically for the event. Dinner that night was a homemade lasagna. Oz has a small kitchen that serves food at a low cost for campers who don't want to bother bringing food. The food was delicious, the portions were overly generous, and the guests were starting to form friendships. The second night's dinner was Beef Stroganoff . Yummy. It was so nice to have a home cooked meal and not have to drag food along or leave the camp to find food. Kudos to Oz for having plenty of cabins! Not having to drag everything along made a world of difference. Steve and Rick are smart business men, doing a great job of balancing the line between "roughing it" and "hoteling it." I feel like I camped without sacrificing my back by sleeping in a tent. There are other things that aren't going into this review but are worth a quick mention. The outdoor shower house is great. The miles of hiking trails are perfect for the guy who wants to get lost. The constant improvements that the owners have on the boards are incredible. Oz is a an awesome members only gay campground off I-75 in Unidilla GA. My husband and I started going here nearly three years ago and keep going back. We like it so much we even took out a short term lease on a site for our travel trailer. We would not do that anyplace else. Oz is very professionally managed, well-staffed and well-maintained. The campground is huge and has many trails throughout the property if you're into hiking and outdoor fun. It has one of the nicest bar and dance floors that I have seen anyplace including large cities. Note, the bar has a liquor license where other places really don't. They have great host performers in connection with different weekend events and never a value-added charge event and holiday weekends. Oz also has a large well-maintained pool and hot tub area that boasts a new pool bar and a great café and (more recently) a work-out and exercise building ran by a professional trainer and masseuse. Besides excellent trailer, RV and tenting sites, Oz maintains a large number of rental cabins ranging from bunkhouse accommodations to large luxury cabins. Everything is clean and well maintained. Never a problem with lost reservations or errors in billing. We find the prices for everything. We really love the place. We always make new friends and enjoy hanging out with old friends there. Our first tine here .. we booked for a month. we knew we would not stay a whole month here but it was cheaper that way .. we'll we stayed the whole month and did not want to leave .. the cafe is run by a couple of guys that really like to cook .. the specials they had the nights they were open were incredible .the grounds are all well maintained .. the trails are all great and kept up nice .. the pool is great with s great view of the park .. all in all just a great place with a great feeling about it.. read more

So we live in Orlando FL and we stayed the weekend at a campground in Hampshire TN called Whispering Oaks Retreat. BTW it was amazing, we were driving through GA and figured we would stop by and rent a cabin for the night. We pulled up and the man older gentleman with grey hair didn't get his name Just stared at us as we walked in and we explained we were passing through and would like to rent a cabin for the night and he looked at us as were stupid! He stated it was just 5 pm and they were closed!!! And wouldn't rent a a cabin. And sent us on our way! Now we have to drive another 4.5 hours home!!! Will never return to this place!!! Horrible treatment and customer service!!! read more

My boyfriend and I went to Oz for the first time this past April. Was a WONDERFUL experience. So wonderful in fact that we are going back again this coming August. Living in NJ with three Gay Clothing Optional campgrounds within 2-3 hours drive and opting to go to Georgia says a lot about the place. Well run, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Great options for cabins. We had a sleeper cabin with no bathroom, but still had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker AND air conditioner. Everyone from staff to other guests were wonderful. Pool was really nice, club was HUGE and music was great as well as the drinks. And the Sugar Shack, well you may have to find out for yourself. LOL. Anyway, cannot wait to go back and look forward to it. May make it my regular Gay Campground and just use the PA ones for day trips. read more

This place is great! Run by very courteous people that will go out of their way to make sure you have a nice stay. The grounds are spotless as are the shower and bath facilities, both enclosed and open air. There are tent sites, small and large cabins and Rv sites all over. They have a nice swimming pool and hottub area with an outside bar, a great inside bar/dance area and lots of pre-planned activities. read more
