I got a recommendation for a new doctor who had just joined one of the Baxter Health clinics. Dr Chesley Murphy provides excellent and compassionate care. He takes the time to listen and talk through various treatment options. In my case, based on initial blood test results, he recommended I see Dr Zak (another excellent doctor) for further evaluation. After further testing I was diagnosed with CMML, an uncommon form of leukemia. I owe this diagnosis and continued treatment to Dr Murphy. She is SO kind, right away, as soon as I walked in, she was genuinely interested in me as a person, not just a patient. She took the time to visit with me and get to know me and listen to what I had to say. She made the appointment feel so relaxing, as if we were talking in her living room as friends and not in a clinic at all. I normally feel nervous and can't stand going to the doctor.
