I bought the Ozark Trail River Tube for adults to use on a Slip N Slide play day. I had been warned that the mats that come with the Slip N Slide would not be sufficient to buffer the impact of adults. I was quite impressed with the heavy weight plastic the River Tube is made from. Despite the box saying it has a 198 lb capacity I am sure most of the adults far exceeded that weight and it stood up well to all the use. My daughter was impressed enough with it she volunteered to take it off my hands and use it in her backyard pool. I'll send the tow rope home with it to be threaded through the attached grommets. Bought TWO of the bag-type coolers for a big trip and they held up to the typical OT standard..... they didn't work at all. Just because you put silver colored lining inside a cloth bag does not make it a cooler. They worked about as well as just leaving the items out of the bags the whole trip. I even put ice in there, and they just peed everywhere. Obviously, if they leak that bad, heat is getting in and cold is getting out at a rapid rate. They are worthless. I ended up stopping somewhere to get a cheap foam cooler and some ice. And, in true OT form, you can't really get ahold of them, so.... screw you, OT. Bought the L-shaped Ozark trail tent and the Ozark trail EZ up that is required to go with it. First time using it last year, we got 1 day of rain and both the EZ up and tent failed. EZ up collapsed when the metal snapped and because it is attached to the tent it ripped the top of the tent. Completely drenching everything inside the tent. Spent $200 on the tent and $100 on the EZ up to not even get one camping weekend. Reached out to Ozark when it happened, and of course, never received a response back. If someone from Ozark (preferably a manager) could contact me to resolve this issue, i would be most grateful. I'm out $300 and have no tent or EZ up. In a world where most only leave reviews when they are upset, I wanted to share my experience with my Ozark Trail telescopic fishing rod combo. I bought this on vacation to use since I did not have a fishing pole and was realling wanting to go fishing. The price was right, but I didn't have high hopes. Several months later, this pole has been great and is still going strong. It's landed me HUNDREDs of fish, and I fish at least one day a week, sometimes a few days. I bought it for freshwater while on vaca, but now use it at home for saltwater. Now it is getting a little rusty from the saltwater, but that is on me from now cleaning it properly after using it. However, for the $20 I spent, I have gotten more than my money's worth. On my next trip up to the states, I will definitely be grabbing another one. read more

I purchased a pair of Ozark Trail hiking sticks. The lower legs of both sticks kept collapsing on me. I only weigh 154 pds, my pack weighed about 32. There is no way my weight should have kept collapsing those sticks. I had to constantly tighten the nuts on the lock tabs. THIS IS DANGEROUS. I was using one of the sticks to walk down a slick sloping rock when the lower leg collapsed, sending me down and breaking my left ankle. Then I had to rely on these two sticks to hobble my butt down 3.5 miles of wilderness to get to the trailhead to even get cell phone service. If I had been near one of the cliffs around here and those poles collapsed? They would have sent me over the cliff. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE THESE DANGEROUS STICKS AGAIN. THE LOCKING NUTS ARE CRAP PLAIN AND SIMPLE AND THAT IS THE WORST PLACE TO TRY TO CUT COSTS OF A HIKING STICK PEOPLE ACTUALLY DEPEND THEIR LIVES ON. This 8 man was so obviously not tested in all weather elements. It so obvi ously cant withstand a sudden wind advisory for Bullhead City, AZ. Winds were 30-40 mph with wind gusts up to 70mph. Snapped A poles right in half. B poems are still standing and so is the 3 man tent by same company. Stating that their outdoor equipment can uphold any weather conditions is obviously false advertisement. For a real tip. Test your equipment in Bullhead City, AZ. Got an Ozark Trail 8 man modified dome tent at the end of June. Very first time we set it up, the over the door visor pole broke and one of the silver joint pieces on one of the long poles split. It rained lightly that first night and you would have thought we didn't put the rain fly on considering the amount of water in the tent. EVERYTHING was soaked and a few things, including our power inverter, we're ruined. The second time we set it up, last weekend, the string inside one of the long poles broke, leaving us to struggle with 11 pieces to a pole. We haven't even owned this tent for a complete 2 months, and only used it twice, and it is the WORST INVESTMENT WE HAVE EVER MADE!!! Talk about a complete and total WASTE of a Benjamin!! I wouldn't even give this tent to a homeless person as it would be an insult not a help. The ONLY positive things I can even think of to say about this product is that it's a pretty cool looking hunk of TRASH!!!!! Next time, I'll buy a used tent online. Im frustrated as hell. Ive got an Ozark Trail watch 92-228. Cannot find the instructions anywhere. The alarm has all of the sudden started going off every day. I cant figure out how to turn it off permanently. Ive been online for hours trying to find a manual for this phone and have had no luck. Ive only worn it once but i e been bouncing that sob around for days. It can with stand a 300lb man bouncing it off of everything in this room.
